Pros
Hwahae Trial Reviewer review. First of all, the usage feels really light and refreshing, and the absorption is also fast. Just a few pats with your hands and it absorbs quickly!! Some people may not like the scent, but I found it to be pleasantly fragrant~ However, the thing I want to praise the most is that among all the toners I've used so far, this one was the most effective in reducing redness and blemishes!!!! I was aware that toners don't usually have much functionality, but this product was different. It has a cooling effect, and my skin definitely felt soothed and calmed. I'll write more details about the tips in the following.

Since the weather is still dry, it didn't really give me a strong sense of deeply hydrating my skin. Among the various products I've tried, this one has been relatively fast-acting and visible in its effects!! The introduction was quite long, but the tip is... After cleansing, I would spray the toner I had pre-filled in a mist bottle 2-3 times all over my face to absorb it. Then I would soak a cotton pad with the toner and leave it on the acne areas for about 5 minutes!! After that, the skin in that area would feel much more refreshed, and the redness and inflammation would visibly improve a little bit!! I didn't do this every day, but 2-3 times a week, along with using an ampoule and a moisturizer. Even though I've only been using it for a little over a week, I'm happy to see the effects. (+ But the volume is not that big, so if I keep using it this way, I'll probably run out quickly ㅠㅠ Then I'll have to buy a new one, haha. For now, I'm grateful to have found a product that works for me ㅋㅋㅋㅋ)

The texture is refreshing. It seems to be well-absorbed and effective in soothing the skin. As a sensitive skin type who is compatible with mugwort, there is no irritation at all, and the soothing effect is as good as mugwort! The watery texture made it great to use as a cleansing toner, and my skin felt refined and polished afterwards. It's also wonderful to use as a toner - the herbal, grassy fragrance is not artificial, so it was pleasant to use.

If I had to pick something, it might be a bit drying for dry skin types due to how refreshing it is.

Pros
This is a review I wrote after being selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer! I decided to write the review on the last day of the review period, in order to use the product for as long as possible. What I liked: Ingredients, texture, absorption, fragrance, soothing I think the product is good in terms of ingredients, as the main ingredient is 96.9% Salvia Miltiorrhiza Extract, a natural ingredient. The texture is that of a regular water-based toner, with excellent absorption and a refreshing finish, so I think it would work well as a summer toner. It's even suitable for oily skin types! The fragrance is natural and not artificial, which I liked. The toner has a light green color from the natural ingredients, and it becomes transparent when applied to a cotton pad, so it doesn't leave any visible residue. When I had a bunch of small pimples on my forehead, I used it as a 30-minute face pack, and it helped reduce the puffiness well. However, it was somewhat lacking in reducing redness.
Cons
Downsides: May be too refreshing for dry or dry-combination skin, somewhat lacking in reducing redness I personally didn't have any major downsides, but I wouldn't recommend this toner as a winter or transitional season toner for dry skin types. It's just too refreshing. While it helped reduce the puffiness of the pimples well, it was somewhat lacking in reducing the redness. I couldn't take a photo, but after squeezing the small pimples on my forehead, redness appeared in various areas. So I did a 30-minute face pack with the Salvia toner, but the redness didn't subside completely. 30 minutes may have been too short a time for a face pack, but the redness only went down partially, which was a bit disappointing.
Tip
I sometimes added 2-3 drops of an ampoule containing Centella ingredients to this toner, and I found this method to be good for daily exfoliation while keeping the skin refreshed, especially for oily or combination-oily skin types. I also really liked the Salvia Calming Ampoule sample that came with the set, as it was effective in soothing the red pimples. I have a lot of ampoules left, but I'm considering purchasing the Salvia Calming Ampoule once I've used them up!

My skin type is dry and sensitive. I didn't use toner much until I won a Hwahae Trial Reviewer spot and received the product on the 12th. I used it daily for a week. Applying it generously with a cotton pad, I felt it was moisturizing and refreshing. I used it without any issues like breakouts or discomfort. After wiping it off, I patted it into my face and didn't feel any dryness. However, you'll still need to use a lotion or cream afterwards, as it's not enough on its own. When I layered it on, I felt it was moisturizing without any irritation.
Cons
There were no downsides, and it was just a regular toner, neither better nor worse.

I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and got to try the product! -Product Appearance First, the container is made of a clean and lightweight plastic. -Fragrance They say this toner contains cabbage, and the fragrance is a refreshing herbal/grassy scent! It's not at all overwhelming, just a pleasant and refreshing aroma. -Moisture As someone with oily skin, I found it to be sufficiently moisturizing. The watery formula might feel a bit drying for those with dry skin. It's similar to other regular toners. - I have acne-prone and oily skin, and I'm always worried about breakouts. While I can't say the product completely cleared up my acne, I did notice fewer breakouts than before. The refreshing formula was also great for my oily skin. Overall, I'm really satisfied! I tried cleansing, Doctoring, layering, and even using a sheet mask! First of all, let's give a round of applause 👏👏👏 The most important thing I look for in a toner is that it doesn't feel sticky when wiping the neck, and it should feel refreshing!! And I'm really satisfied with this one 👍 It feels so refreshing when Doctoring and when applying it in other ways too. In the summer, when you start sweating right after a shower and it gets all sticky, applying this would be a lifesaver ㅠㅠㅠㅠ It feels even more refreshing than water ㅋㅋㅋ It does a great job at refining the skin texture and removing residues. It's more of a hydrating toner than a moisturizing one! And the ingredients are so gentle, I really love it. I choose my skincare products based on the ingredients, and this one passes with flying colors! 🍋 It's a refreshing toner that doesn't feel sticky or heavy, even when applied generously 🍋
