  It's incredibly good! It saved my skin after using the wrong cosmetics. There's an ingredient called 'houttuynia cordata'? It's the first time I've heard of it, but it seems to have some effect on calming those tiny blemishes!

  Cons

  Ah... I really want to give it 5 stars because it's so good, but this might just be me being super sensitive - I really dislike the scent. It's such an artificial cosmetic smell. I don't understand why it has this scent when there are no fragrances listed... I've gotten used to it now, but at first, I really hated it because it smelled like a cheap air freshener.

  This is an excellent exfoliating toner for soothing the skin~ It's just like water! There's absolutely no viscosity or stickiness. Soothing: The calming effect is truly remarkable! Since I wear a mask daily, the areas where it touches my skin inevitably become itchy and red. To alleviate this, I would soak a cotton pad with this toner and apply it like a mask. It calmed down quickly! I think it would be great for when you need rapid soothing. Gentle: It's completely mild! Throughout the period of use, I didn't experience any blemishes or tingling sensations! Of course, this could be because I don't have super sensitive skin. Overall, it was an exfoliating toner that's easy to use without any issues!

  Cons

  Although I have dry skin, those with extremely dry skin might find it a bit drying~ Of course, I do apply the next skincare step right after using the toner, but it absorbs so quickly that I sometimes wonder, 'Did I even use toner?' While exfoliating toners are generally used to manage any residue or impurities left after cleansing, I think those who prioritize hydration from the toner step might not be too fond of this.

  Tip

  While it's good to use with a cotton pad, I personally think it might be even better to use it generously as a skin pack!

As someone with combination dehydrated skin that responds well to Houttuynia Cordata, I experienced no irritation, and its calming effect is as good as Houttuynia Cordata itself! The watery consistency makes it perfect as an exfoliating toner, leaving my skin feeling refined. It's excellent as a toner. Plus, the herbal, grassy scent is natural rather than artificial, making it pleasant to use.

  If I had to point out a downside, it might be a bit drying for those with very dry skin due to its ultra-light texture.

  Unlike some products that feel sticky after application, this one had absolutely no stickiness and absorbed into my skin incredibly well, which I loved! Being super sensitive skin, my face usually turns red and breaks out when I use incompatible products. However, even after using this for several days, I experienced none of those issues, so I'm really, really enjoying it. This product also has a soothing effect on blemishes, so I highly recommend it for those with sensitive skin. If you use it together with the ampoule sold here, you can feel the calming effects on blemishes even faster!

  I used this product as soon as I received it, and I loved how easy it was to apply as an exfoliating toner due to its water-like consistency that almost drips. The brand operates its own farm where they grow plants for their cosmetics, and this toner contains wild cabbage extract. This wild cabbage is said to have a soothing effect, which was great for calming my irritated skin caused by frequent all-nighters lately. When used with a soothing cream, the effects become even more noticeable. As someone sensitive to fragrances, I found the scent pleasant. It's perfect for a light application before morning makeup. This product has more hydration than oil content.

  However, being a water-based toner, it didn't provide enough moisture to satisfy my extremely dry skin. Due to its consistency, I tend to use it generously, which feels a bit wasteful considering it's not exactly cheap. It's difficult to expect significant soothing effects from this product alone; it works better when used in combination with other soothing creams. Overall, I would recommend this more for those with oily skin.

  This is truly... I didn't even expect to become a Hwahae Tester, I just applied for the event because the ingredients looked good and then forgot about it. I'm so thrilled to have been selected!! I'll write a really honest review! I thought the product I was using before was very moisturizing and soothing, but this one is even better. The calming effect is amazing, and I can feel my skin texture improving significantly. Apart from one serum from another brand, I've never used a product that improved my skin texture this much. I keep my old product as a backup, but I always reach for this one. I highly recommend it for those with super sensitive skin or blemishes!! I'm sure many of you are dealing with mask-related skin issues these days. I wear a mask for hours every day at work, but since using this, it's helped so much with calming blemishes that they don't even appear now. It's like it gently soothes and balances my skin before breakouts can happen... For those who are hesitating, you must try it! I've tried almost everything except the Dokdo Toner, so after finishing this, I'll have to try that one and compare.

  Cons

  Hmm... Downsides... There really aren't any... If you're looking for a super hydrating toner, this isn't it. It absorbs quickly and gives a refreshing, soothing feeling. There's a slight herbal scent, but even though I'm sensitive to fragrances, I liked it... I don't think it'll be polarizing. So... in conclusion... there aren't really any downsides.

  Using it with a cotton pad soaked in the product worked best for me! Gently patting it along the skin's texture is perfect.
