The hydration lasts for a long time, and you can really feel your skin becoming stronger. The next morning, your skin feels firm and moisturized. The oil and moisture balance is excellent, so your skin doesn't easily become dry or greasy, which is very satisfying. I'm considering purchasing it. When applied, it doesn't absorb quickly. Instead, it leaves a white cast and takes a lot of rubbing to finally absorb into the skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSep 10, 2024
When I first applied it, it felt a bit like it was sitting on top of my skin and was slightly itchy. But after using it for a while, my skin became softer. I applied it to the worst areas of my atopy, and I think it's pretty good for that! The texture is like an emulsion, with medium viscosity, though it absorbs slowly. After application, it feels like it's not fully absorbing, so you have to wait a bit for it to sink in. It can be a bit itchy at first. If you keep using it, your skin becomes softer, which is great. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinSep 9, 2024
I recommend this for all seasons except summer! I was originally using the purple Bioderma cream, but I won this and switched to it. It's a cream texture, but not overly thick. It feels like it's about 90% moisturizing and 10% hydrating. It's great for calming irritated skin and works wonders on areas with atopic dermatitis. It doesn't cause itching and actually helps reduce dead skin cells thanks to its moisturizing effect! It's not really suitable as a daily product. It's not very versatile. I find myself using it more on my body than my face. I apply it selectively - often around the eyes and mouth. When I use it near my temples, I get blemishes. I mostly use it on areas like elbows and underarms. It tends to sit on top of the skin if applied after essences or ampoules. Especially after using a mask, you need to wipe off some excess before applying this cream. I recommend using this after a pore essence or a fast-absorbing toner, essence, or ampoule. When used this way, it adheres better to the skin. I found that using it like this left my skin feeling fresh and nice the next day! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 8, 2024
As a cream suitable for sensitive and delicate skin, I could really feel how gentle it was while using it. I had been experiencing itchy, eczema-like rashes on my body due to heat rash, but after using this, the itching decreased and I could definitely feel a soothing effect! Before receiving it, I expected a somewhat thick cream texture, but it turned out to be more of an emulsion-like consistency. However, despite its emulsion-like texture, the absorption was rather poor... No matter how much I rubbed it in, it wouldn't absorb and just sat on top of my skin, similar to a sunscreen with heavy white cast. Due to its poor absorption, try patting it gently onto your skin instead. This method allows for quicker and easier application. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinSep 4, 2024
First off, I felt confident using this product since I've tried a gel cream from the same brand before. As someone with atopic skin, it was especially helpful in relieving itchiness. The fragrance-free formula caused no irritation whatsoever. The texture is thicker than a gel cream, more like a true balm. This made it perfect for spot-treating rather than all-over application. I focused on applying it to my dry, itchy areas like shoulders, elbows, and shins. Even when I applied it to areas with atopic wounds, there was no stinging, so I could spread it freely. I later learned that it contains an ingredient called DAFRA, which not only helps restore damaged skin barriers and soothe itching but also strengthens the skin itself. Overall, I was quite satisfied with this product during my 10-day trial as part of The Hwahae Testers. Because the texture is quite thick like a balm, if you apply too much, it can leave an oily residue on the skin. Those with sensitive skin should be cautious when using this product. Despite its thick consistency, if you take your time to massage it in, it absorbs well without leaving any residue, resulting in a comfortable feel on the skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 18, 2024
Despite being a balm formula, it's not too heavy and absorbs well It feels quite rich, and when applied, it seems to sit on top of the skin rather than absorbing - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJul 19, 2022
My skin type: - Super sensitive skin (immediate reaction if ingredients don't suit) - Damaged skin barrier (roughened since COVID) - Dry skin (prone to milia when oil-moisture balance is off) Positives: - Generous amount - ... First off, while it's marketed as a barrier-strengthening cream, I didn't really feel like it strengthened my barrier. This could be because my barrier is severely compromised right now, but... The cream felt like it was just sitting on top of my skin. There was a rich feeling, but it didn't seem to deeply hydrate. Moreover, I'm extremely sensitive to ingredients, so knowing it contains potential allergens makes me hesitant to use it. As a compromise, I've been applying it to my legs and elbows. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 11, 2022
I'm using it regularly because it keeps my skin hydrated all day long. It seems like a must-have for those with dry skin. It's a bit disappointing as it doesn't seem to absorb well and just sits on the surface of the skin. It works even better if you apply it after using toner and letting your skin dry a little. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 21, 2022
The white formula has a lovely texture that applies smoothly when squeezed from the tube Perhaps because I have dry skin, it felt like it didn't absorb well and just sat on the surface It might work best if applied right after cleansing - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 21, 2022
Though it's a thick balm, it doesn't feel as heavy as I expected when applied. It provides intense hydration that feels really nourishing on the skin. If you apply too much, it can leave a white cast on the skin. Since my skin tends to be quite dehydrated, I applied a second layer, which caused my makeup to pill a bit.
