As someone with dry, sensitive, and seborrheic skin, I noticed my skin becoming more sensitive lately. After watching a YouTube video recommending this for redness, I decided to give it a try! Despite its name, it wasn't as thick as I expected. Instead, it applied nicely with just the right amount of hydration. I think my skin barrier might be too compromised at the moment, because when I apply it to my face, the most sensitive areas on my cheeks feel a bit of a tingling sensation. I'm wondering if mineral oil might be an ingredient that doesn't agree with my skin, so I'll keep an eye on that. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 10, 2025
My face was feeling dry and irritated, so I bought this famous night cream. It seems to provide good hydration. I think mineral oil doesn't agree with my skin. Similar to when I used Cicabio, my skin turned red and felt a tingling sensation. For those who can tolerate mineral oil, this might be the best product when your skin is feeling sensitive or irritated. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 24, 2025
I have sensitive combination dehydrated skin, but this was a total letdown. I bought it because everyone else said it was good. I have extremely dry skin and used to use Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Ultra, but switched to this because it was too expensive. After applying this, I got a ton of pustules and small blemishes. My skin is usually very clear and I rarely get breakouts, so what's going on? I even spent a fortune trying everything else, not realizing it might be because of this product. As soon as I apply it, my skin turns red and itchy. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinJan 30, 2025
I've used this product for a long time, and it has resolved my long-standing dryness issues. Recently, perhaps due to physical changes, my face swells and itches when I apply it. Even after retesting it a few days later, it still causes redness and itching like atopic dermatitis, so I had to discontinue use. I've been using it for over two years, and I'm not sure why this sudden change has occurred. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 11, 2024
Absorbs well and feels great on the skin. When your face feels dry, this instantly solves the problem. I've been using it since last year, but seeing blemishes pop up regularly... I guess it doesn't suit my skin. Highly recommended for those with extremely dry skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 20, 2024
My skin is extremely sensitive, especially around my nose where it peels and flakes off. It's so reactive that when I wear makeup, all these issues become visible, so I can barely manage to apply sunscreen. This summer was particularly brutal, and working while sweating profusely under a mask was no joke. While this product didn't help much with blemishes, it definitely made a difference on areas with dead skin cells and peeling! I'm a bit uneasy about the mineral oil in the top ingredients... And since it's still so hot outside, I'm very cautious about applying it all over my combination dehydrated skin. There's a higher chance it could cause more blemishes, so I only used it on specific areas like around my nose, as I mentioned earlier. When I actually applied it on my neck, I broke out in little bumps... It's excellent for recovery when applied specifically to localized areas of peeling skin! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 17, 2024
I have combination dehydrated skin with blemishes and redness. For months, I struggled with skin issues, so I went on a skincare diet using just one cream! When I used it on my sensitive, inflamed skin, it really calmed things down. Being an incredibly gentle barrier cream, it's excellent for deep dryness. It truly locks in hydration - I'm so impressed! This would be perfect for winter use! It's a safe bet for everyday use. However, given my combination dehydrated skin (which is ultimately oily), it can feel a bit rich. Be careful not to apply too much. Using it both morning and night seems to cause some skin reactions. I've been only applying it before bed. While it's on the pricey side, using it sparingly makes it seem not so bad...? After applying your regular moisturizer, squeeze out a pea-sized amount, warm it between your hands, and apply a thin layer. This creates a protective barrier that works just right! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinSep 11, 2024
The long summer might finally be coming to an end, though it's still hot today. When the cool breeze starts, our skin is the first to react. As a stage 4 breast cancer patient undergoing targeted chemotherapy, my skin has become extremely dry. During summer, I experienced increased redness, blemishes, and dead skin cells. I had high hopes when I started using Atoderm Intensive Baume. Pro 1> Moisture incarnate It's genuinely hydrating. Despite its slightly thick texture, which made me wonder if it might be less moisturizing, it strikes a great balance between oil and hydration. It leaves the skin feeling moisturized without being sticky, which I love. Pro 2> Calms redness and blemishes I had blemishes slowly appearing on my cheeks and forehead, but they were completely soothed. Pro 3> Soothes dead skin cells This is truly amazing. I have more issues with dead skin on my hands and feet than my face. When I applied it to my hands, it noticeably calmed the flakiness. Pro 4> Fragrance-free I've become increasingly sensitive to scents, making it difficult to use face creams with strong fragrances. I appreciated that this one is unscented. Con 1> Mineral oil This is pretty much the only downside. I'm not sure if I'm incompatible with mineral oil, but after applying it a few times, I noticed small bumps appearing around my nose area. Because of this, I don't think I can use it on my face. Those who are sensitive to mineral oil should keep this in mind. I'm generously applying it to my hands and feet. The effect on soothing dead skin cells is superb! If it weren't for the small bumps caused by the mineral oil, I would love to keep using it on my face too, as it has great soothing effects for redness. It's a shame. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 7, 2024
The texture is right in between regular plain yogurt and Greek yogurt! It's moderately thick, neither too light nor too heavy - just the perfect consistency for me. Since it's fragrance-free, it was gentle and non-irritating! I often get painful blemishes, and usually when emulsion creams touch those areas, it stings terribly. But with this one, I didn't feel any discomfort at all. The texture isn't completely lightweight, so I had to pat it in several times to spread it evenly. While that's a bit disappointing, I understand it's because the formula has a bit more substance to it. After applying it to my oily T-zone and sleeping, I woke up with some small blemishes. If you have combination dehydrated skin like me, I'd advise against using it on areas that tend to get oily. When your skin feels extra dehydrated after a toner mask, applying a generous layer of this cream over your toner leaves your skin feeling wonderfully plump and moisturized. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 6, 2024
It felt like my skin was packed with hydration, but without being overly rich, which I loved! Despite its thick, cream-like texture, a little went a long way, making it great value. After applying it and sleeping, my skin felt so much calmer the next morning! Maybe it's because I have oily, blemish-prone skin, but using it for 2-3 days in a row made my skin feel greasy and caused some breakouts. I think it might be better to use just once or twice a week. It seems like it would be really great for those with dry skin though! Applying this after a modeling mask really locks in the hydration
