It's gentle and lathers up nicely! I have super sensitive skin, but I haven't experienced any irritation. Although I've only been using it for 3 days, so far it's been great. It stings a bit if it gets in your eyes, and there's a slight artificial, soapy scent. But it's not too overpowering. Using a foam maker can help reduce irritation even further. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 28, 2024
The finish is quite moisturizing, which could be great for those with dry skin. As someone with oily skin, it wasn't ideal for me... But if your skin often feels tight and tends to crack or flake during seasonal changes, this might work well for you. It produces a decent lather for a low pH cleanser. It's really not suitable for oily skin types. It doesn't seem to effectively remove excess sebum... The moisturizing finish leaves a smooth feeling, but it doesn't feel like it's actually cleansing. Strongly discourage for those with oily skin. Recommended for morning cleansing routines, especially for those with dry or normal skin types. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 28, 2024
It's gentle on the skin and lathers well. I use it every morning and it definitely doesn't leave my skin feeling tight. It's just really ordinary. No need for any other descriptors - it's simply an unremarkable product, nothing more to say. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 17, 2024
I switched from a foam cleanser to this gel cleanser, and I'm pleasantly surprised by how well it lathers. It's really nice! I haven't been using it for long, so I haven't noticed any drawbacks yet. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 30, 2024
It's incredibly gentle and produces just the right amount of foam. While it doesn't give that squeaky-clean feeling, it leaves even my oily skin feeling super fresh! Since switching from foam to gel cleansers, I've noticed a significant reduction in blemishes and my skin texture has become much smoother! There's not really anything to complain about. If I had to nitpick, maybe the packaging design is a bit understated? I recommend focusing on rolling it around the nose area, and when rinsing, make sure to rinse at least 20 times or more - the more thorough the rinse, the better the results seem to be! - Hwahae UserOily SkinMar 18, 2024
It's incredibly gentle. The foam lathers up nicely, and I found it perfect for my daily morning cleanse. The cleansing power is a bit weak, so I use it as a second cleanser after being out. For oily skin, it works great when paired with exfoliating pads to remove dead skin cells. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinMar 15, 2024
I still occasionally get large, painful blemishes on my face, so when a skincare clinic recommended trying a gel-type cleanser, I searched and ended up buying this product. I thoroughly researched gel cleansers on Hwahae, checked the ingredients, and ultimately made the purchase. I'm extremely satisfied with my choice. While it doesn't create a rich lather like a cleansing foam, if you massage it well with wet hands, it produces just the right amount of bubbles. Some gel cleansers don't foam at all, which can feel unsatisfying, but this one foams nicely, which I appreciate. The cleansing effectiveness is quite good. In the morning, I use it once, and in the evening, after using a cleansing water or balm, I use this product twice. This routine leaves my skin feeling adequately refreshed. Gentle: Above all, I love that it's non-irritating. It's colorless and fragrance-free. The fact that it doesn't cause any blemishes is a good sign that it's cleansing well, right? Price: I chose this product partly because it's very affordable compared to others. I've finished one bottle and am currently using up some other products I had stocked, but once those are gone, I plan to repurchase this one. It doesn't leave your face feeling squeaky clean. However, I deliberately chose this product because I was looking for something that wouldn't strip my skin, so I don't consider this a drawback. While I appreciate that it's fragrance-free and non-irritating, I'm not used to completely unscented products, so it felt a bit strange at first. If you're concerned about its cleansing power, using it twice or more can be beneficial. Even with multiple uses, it doesn't dry out your skin or feel harsh, which is great. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 23, 2024
I'm really enjoying this low pH cleanser that lathers up nicely. My skin feels much softer, so it seems to be exfoliating dead skin cells without irritation. However, since my skin is super sensitive, I alternate it with other cleansers rather than using it daily. You need to rinse quite thoroughly to get rid of the slightly slippery feeling. Having used low pH cleansers since my teens, I can tell the difference between slipperiness and smoothness. As you rinse under running water, there's a moment when the slippery sensation transforms into a smooth feeling of your own skin - it just takes a bit longer to reach that point compared to other cleansers. When I'm wearing makeup, I use this as a second cleanse after oil cleansing. For bare-faced days or morning cleansing, I start by washing my hands thoroughly, then rinse my face with lukewarm water to remove surface oils. I wash my hands again to remove any oils from my face, then use the cleanser. This way, even without a foam net, it lathers up beautifully. I use this method with all cleansers - even those known for low lather produce plenty of foam when applied with clean hands, allowing for a gentle yet effective cleanse. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 21, 2024
Moisturizing and mixes well with water, making it easy to lather. As someone with dry skin who rarely wears makeup, it feels gentler and more hydrating than regular foam cleansers. Great for a light cleanse. The price is reasonable. I plan to use it as a soothing cleanser when my skin is dry and super sensitive. There are no drawbacks to mention. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinDec 22, 2023
It's so hydrating! Despite being a gel, it lathers well. It's perfectly suitable as a first cleanse when you've only applied sunscreen. While this product alone might not be enough to completely remove sunscreen, it seems like it would work well as a regular cleanser when you're not wearing any makeup. Pretty decent! I've used it twice so far and haven't experienced any issues. If anything comes up, I'll make sure to write about it!
