I have dry/sensitive skin and have been using a sunscreen that I've been using for a while without any issues. The advantages are: 1. It's an easy-to-use cleanser 2. The ingredients are reportedly good 3. I haven't experienced major breakouts 4. It provides good hydration and helps brighten my complexion when applied Drawbacks 1. Prolonged application may cause slight itchiness 2. Excessively drying 3. Feels stiff when applied without prior moisturization 4. Whitening effect Apply after thoroughly moisturizing the skin following cleansing. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinMay 6, 2025
The slight white cast works wonderfully as a natural brightening moisturizer, evening out my complexion! No real downsides. It's just a tad dry for winter use, but come spring and summer, it's absolutely perfect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 9, 2025
It's incredibly gentle on the skin. My skin feels so comfortable. It doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. There's minimal white cast. Among all the mineral sunscreens I've tried, this one has the best absorption. In the photo, the left side of my hand is without the product, and the right side is with it applied. It gives a slight glow and subtle brightening effect. It's often out of stock at Olive Young, and there aren't many retailers that carry it. Also, it's disappointing that it doesn't go on sale as often as other products. Since it's a mineral sunscreen, instead of vigorously rubbing it in before makeup, I gently pat small amounts all over my face and lightly tap it to blend. Then, I spritz on some mist, pat it with a puff, and proceed with my base makeup. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinMar 27, 2025
For combination dehydrated skin with small blemishes: Lightweight formula Doesn't irritate blemishes Can cleanse with foam cleanser alone Provides suitable brightening, absorbs like it's melting into the skin Feels like it adheres snugly to the skin Mineral sunscreen with a moisturizing texture, not too rich Hydrating yet gives a soft-focus effect, making skin look a bit prettier Lacks the cooling effect compared to sun sticks Only slightly cool when applying It's a sunscreen that doesn't require multiple layers, so I only apply it once. It spreads well with hands, so you can just quickly apply it with your fingers and it goes on smoothly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 25, 2024
Skin type: Dry (severe deep dryness) Pros: 1. Powerful sun protection with SPF50+ PA++++ and skin-friendly ingredients. Can be used without skin irritation. 2. Less drying compared to other sunscreens, with a pleasantly moisturizing finish. 3. Has a brightening effect, so it can double as a makeup base. 4. No eye irritation. The downside is the dryness that becomes noticeable as time passes... Seems to be a limitation of mineral sunscreens. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 12, 2024
I bought this based on a YouTuber's recommendation! While it does leave a white cast if you apply the right amount, I often go out wearing just sunscreen, so I liked the brightening effect. It makes my skin look fair and healthy! The easy wash-off feature is fantastic. This product is perfect for those who enjoy a moisturizing yet powdery finish when applied. With aloe vera leaf juice as the first ingredient, I have a feeling it might be helping prevent blemishes. It's suitable even for super sensitive skin. I used it well during hot summer days as it seemed to control excess oil. (Highly recommended for oily skin types!) The finish is more powdery than expected, so I think it might cause pilling if you apply base makeup over it. That's why I don't wear makeup over this product. It's disappointing that after some time, it leaves something like eraser dust on the skin. I switched from another brand's mineral sunscreen, and this one doesn't absorb as well. This product seems more suitable for summer use rather than winter! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 23, 2024
It's moisturizing with a slight white cast, but as you pat it in, it brightens your complexion. It washes off easily even with just a first cleanse. If you apply it incorrectly, your face can look ghostly pale. Make sure to blend it well on your neck too. It can get itchy when you sweat. - Hwahae UserOily SkinJul 20, 2024
A legendary sunscreen that doesn't cause blemishes, absorbs well, and provides just the right amount of brightening Being a mineral sunscreen, it's relatively tricky to apply, but that's unavoidable - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 7, 2024
It's not sticky at all. The brightening moisturizer provides a subtle, non-overwhelming effect. Being a mineral sunscreen, you can see the results immediately after application. Even though I have super sensitive skin, it doesn't cause any redness or irritation. If you tend to sweat a lot, you might need to reapply frequently. I applied it before going to the gym, and when I came back, it had almost completely worn off. Be aware that it doesn't come off easily with just foam cleanser! Make sure to double cleanse! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 29, 2024
I bought this product after seeing a YouTuber's recommendation. It's a sunscreen with a slight white cast. I liked it so much that I recommended it to my older brother. Later, he told me he absolutely loved this sunscreen! When I asked why, he said: 1. As a guy, he's not comfortable with makeup, but he likes the subtle brightening effect. 2. He loves how it keeps his oily skin in check and leaves a matte finish. I guess that's the male perspective! He even stocked up on a few bottles. While I'm already a fan of this product, I felt proud that my recommendation worked out so well for him. While it works fine for me, those who prefer sunscreens that apply like water might find this product's white cast and texture polarizing.
