This product absorbs well and contains aloe for a cooling effect. Most importantly, despite being a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't dry out the skin, so I've used it frequently. However, I didn't realize at first, but it seems this product was causing blemishes. I stopped using it immediately. It's likely to suit those with dry skin much better than oily or combination dehydrated skin types. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 5, 2023
Don't be fooled into thinking it's just gentle because of its top-rated ingredients. However, I've learned that even mild formulations don't always suit my skin. It's causing itchiness... I suspect the green tea extract doesn't agree with me. Every product containing this ingredient seems to irritate my skin. I'm not sure what other components might be problematic, but the itching is uncomfortable. Also, there's an unpleasant sensation of a silicone film lingering on my face even after cleansing, which I really dislike. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 9, 2023
I tried this sunscreen after seeing Dipa recommend it as a gentle option for the whole family. I was already using B-plane's green sunscreen, but decided to give this a try. There was a bit of white cast, but I have super sensitive skin that often breaks out in small bumps depending on the sunscreen, so I had high hopes for this one! It wasn't particularly hydrating, but I appreciated that it didn't feel greasy or overly oily. However, I occasionally felt some itching near my temples after applying it. I initially thought it wasn't due to the sunscreen since my skin barrier is currently recovering, but when I caught a glimpse in the mirror... oh no! I had redness and hives, just like when I use a product that doesn't agree with my skin. I think the aloe ingredient might not suit me... so disappointing. After testing with other products, I believe it's not just the aloe, but possibly another ingredient in this sunscreen that's causing the reaction. For those experiencing itching and redness, I have a sunscreen recommendation that worked well for me! If this product doesn't work for you, I'd recommend trying B-plane's green sunscreen. It was really gentle and non-irritating when my skin was super sensitive and acting up. I'm going back to that one... sigh. Also, check out my other reviews for info on the new sunscreen I've settled on! - Hwahae UserOily SkinMay 31, 2023
As a lucky winner of The Hwahae Testers program, I'm writing this review after a month of use! I love how it instantly and naturally evens my skin tone, and leaves my skin with a lovely matte finish. Sometimes, if you don't blend it well, you might notice tiny white particles left on your face. Also, if I apply it in the morning and then again after work, it tends to pill a bit. Moreover, I think the ingredients don't agree with my skin because by evening, my face feels burning, tingling, and itchy. Since the ingredients don't seem to suit my face, I've started using it on my arms and hands instead!
