As someone with super sensitive skin and severe allergies, especially to sunscreens, I was pleasantly surprised by this product. Being a mineral sunscreen, it caused zero allergic reactions. Even my usual intense itching disappeared when I applied this product. The texture wasn't the thick, pasty consistency I expected from a mineral sunscreen - it was much more pleasant! It seems the white cast is unavoidable with this product. For best results, apply small amounts and spread it thinly over your skin. - ky********Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMay 25, 2025
Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it absorbs well and feels gentle on the skin. It's less drying and has minimal white cast, making it a great choice for students or anyone looking for a natural-looking sun protection. It pills when you apply base makeup... This is a critical flaw for office workers who wear makeup daily. While it may not play well with makeup, it seems suitable for use on the neck or body. - sk*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessMay 22, 2025
The color is just right, and it's free of harmful ingredients, so I had high hopes for it. Despite containing only gentle ingredients, it caused itching and blemishes - though this might be due to other skin issues I have. It's worth noting that skin reactions can vary greatly from person to person, even with products that are generally considered gentle. If you experience persistent irritation, it's best to consult with a dermatologist to determine the underlying cause. - sk******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMay 19, 2025
I have dry/sensitive skin and have been using a sunscreen that I've been using for a while without any issues. The advantages are: 1. It's an easy-to-use cleanser 2. The ingredients are reportedly good 3. I haven't experienced major breakouts 4. It provides good hydration and helps brighten my complexion when applied Drawbacks 1. Prolonged application may cause slight itchiness 2. Excessively drying 3. Feels stiff when applied without prior moisturization 4. Whitening effect Apply after thoroughly moisturizing the skin following cleansing. - pj******Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 10, 2025
I originally used the Sun Soothing Gel, but when it was discontinued, I switched to the Mild Soothing Sun Gel. When that was also discontinued, I had no choice but to use this sunscreen. While it works well, the scent is really off-putting. The smell is... how should I describe it... like modeling clay? Sensitive individuals might want to avoid this product. I really wish they would bring back the Soothing Gel sunscreens. - wi*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 9, 2025
As someone with sensitive, acne-prone, and dry skin, I'm thrilled that this sunscreen doesn't irritate my skin or cause any breakouts. It's been a real game-changer! While it's not a major issue, there is a slight white cast and that typical sunscreen richness. However, it's not greasy enough to cause pilling with makeup, so it's not really bothersome. - 96***Normal SkinAcne SkinMay 8, 2025
It seems gentle on the skin. Being a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't sting my eyes and feels comfortable on my skin. The pilling is unbelievable... I've tried many mineral and chemical sunscreens, but I've never experienced one that breaks down this badly when applying base makeup. I thought my cushion foundation might be the problem, so I tried different ones, but by afternoon, it still balls up the same way. I strongly discourage using this if you plan to wear makeup over it. However, if you're only applying sunscreen without makeup, it might be okay. - mj*****Normal SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 6, 2025
The slight white cast works wonderfully as a natural brightening moisturizer, evening out my complexion! No real downsides. It's just a tad dry for winter use, but come spring and summer, it's absolutely perfect. - qu*******Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 1, 2025
I always find mineral sunscreens drying and uncomfortable, so I usually avoid them. But this one feels just right on my skin, so I've been using it regularly. It absorbs well and is easy to apply smoothly. Definitely recommend it! While I'm generally satisfied, I experience slight eye irritation with this product, even though it's a mineral sunscreen. I have to be careful when applying it around my eyes. Looking at the ingredients, it seems to contain some chemical UV filters as well. It's a shame because I'd love to make this my go-to sunscreen if it weren't for the eye sensitivity issue. The reviewer appreciates the comfortable feel and easy application of this mineral sunscreen, which is often not the case with other mineral formulas. However, they note some eye irritation, which is unexpected for a mineral sunscreen. They suspect it might be due to the presence of chemical UV filters in the formula. Despite this drawback, the overall performance of the product seems satisfactory. - fi********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedApr 24, 2025
I've been using this exclusively since I first tried it! It applies smoothly, and as someone with sensitive skin, I love that it doesn't cause any blemishes. There's nothing I found disappointing about this product. I'm really enjoying using it.
