Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it absorbs well and feels gentle on the skin. It's less drying and has minimal white cast, making it a great choice for students or anyone looking for a natural-looking sun protection. It pills when you apply base makeup... This is a critical flaw for office workers who wear makeup daily. While it may not play well with makeup, it seems suitable for use on the neck or body. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 19, 2025
I have dry/sensitive skin and have been using a sunscreen that I've been using for a while without any issues. The advantages are: 1. It's an easy-to-use cleanser 2. The ingredients are reportedly good 3. I haven't experienced major breakouts 4. It provides good hydration and helps brighten my complexion when applied Drawbacks 1. Prolonged application may cause slight itchiness 2. Excessively drying 3. Feels stiff when applied without prior moisturization 4. Whitening effect Apply after thoroughly moisturizing the skin following cleansing. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinMay 1, 2025
I always find mineral sunscreens drying and uncomfortable, so I usually avoid them. But this one feels just right on my skin, so I've been using it regularly. It absorbs well and is easy to apply smoothly. Definitely recommend it! While I'm generally satisfied, I experience slight eye irritation with this product, even though it's a mineral sunscreen. I have to be careful when applying it around my eyes. Looking at the ingredients, it seems to contain some chemical UV filters as well. It's a shame because I'd love to make this my go-to sunscreen if it weren't for the eye sensitivity issue. The reviewer appreciates the comfortable feel and easy application of this mineral sunscreen, which is often not the case with other mineral formulas. However, they note some eye irritation, which is unexpected for a mineral sunscreen. They suspect it might be due to the presence of chemical UV filters in the formula. Despite this drawback, the overall performance of the product seems satisfactory. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 22, 2025
As someone with freckles and prone to blemishes, I wear sunscreen year-round, in every season. For me, sunscreen is just as crucial as my basic skincare routine. This product is my holy grail. Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it's not stiff and absorbs beautifully. I've gone through 2-3 bottles and even after trying others, I always come back to this one. While some sunscreens can make your skin feel dry over time, this one keeps my skin hydrated and comfortable until evening. It's not greasy at all. Highly recommended for those with dry skin! The price is also quite reasonable. I've never experienced any blemishes with this! It's my ultimate sunscreen, so I have no complaints. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 9, 2025
It's incredibly gentle on the skin. My skin feels so comfortable. It doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. There's minimal white cast. Among all the mineral sunscreens I've tried, this one has the best absorption. In the photo, the left side of my hand is without the product, and the right side is with it applied. It gives a slight glow and subtle brightening effect. It's often out of stock at Olive Young, and there aren't many retailers that carry it. Also, it's disappointing that it doesn't go on sale as often as other products. Since it's a mineral sunscreen, instead of vigorously rubbing it in before makeup, I gently pat small amounts all over my face and lightly tap it to blend. Then, I spritz on some mist, pat it with a puff, and proceed with my base makeup. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 25, 2024
Skin type: Dry (severe deep dryness) Pros: 1. Powerful sun protection with SPF50+ PA++++ and skin-friendly ingredients. Can be used without skin irritation. 2. Less drying compared to other sunscreens, with a pleasantly moisturizing finish. 3. Has a brightening effect, so it can double as a makeup base. 4. No eye irritation. The downside is the dryness that becomes noticeable as time passes... Seems to be a limitation of mineral sunscreens. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSep 13, 2024
I tried this sunscreen with high hopes after Director Pi recommended it, and it's absolutely amazing! Unlike other sunscreens that would sting when I was out in the wind or in dry conditions, this one doesn't irritate my skin at all. I think it's because the ingredients are so gentle and high-quality. My skin texture looks fantastic too. Even when I apply it quickly, there are no streaks or patchiness. I highly recommend it! Currently, it's only available in a 40ml size. I wish they offered a larger volume option. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJul 1, 2024
It absorbs really well. The moisturizing effect lasts for a long time, keeping your skin hydrated without any dryness even hours after application. I didn't have high expectations, so there wasn't anything particularly disappointing about it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 15, 2024
This product absorbs well and contains aloe for a cooling effect. Most importantly, despite being a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't dry out the skin, so I've used it frequently. However, I didn't realize at first, but it seems this product was causing blemishes. I stopped using it immediately. It's likely to suit those with dry skin much better than oily or combination dehydrated skin types. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJun 8, 2024
This is the first mineral sunscreen I've used that kept my skin moisturized all day long without feeling dry even once. Finally, after numerous trials and errors, I've found my holy grail mineral sunscreen! I discovered this product by chance while watching Director Pi's video recommending products for sensitive skin types. It has a smooth application like a moisturizer and spreads evenly across the face. There's minimal white cast and no pilling. It gives a slight healthy glow, evening out the skin tone. I have sensitive skin that can react with bumps, redness, or itching if I use the wrong sunscreen. In the past, I would settle for sunscreens that didn't cause reactions, even if they were a bit drying. However, this product doesn't dry out my skin, doesn't cause any blemishes or allergic reactions, and doesn't leave my skin feeling dehydrated in the evening when I get home. I think I've finally found the sunscreen I'll use for life! There's nothing I dislike about this product. Since I rarely wear makeup, I can't comment on how well it works under cosmetics. However, it absorbs well and has a firm finish, so I don't think it would pill or separate under makeup.
