As someone with sensitive, acne-prone, and dry skin, I'm thrilled that this sunscreen doesn't irritate my skin or cause any breakouts. It's been a real game-changer! While it's not a major issue, there is a slight white cast and that typical sunscreen richness. However, it's not greasy enough to cause pilling with makeup, so it's not really bothersome. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinMay 8, 2025
It seems gentle on the skin. Being a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't sting my eyes and feels comfortable on my skin. The pilling is unbelievable... I've tried many mineral and chemical sunscreens, but I've never experienced one that breaks down this badly when applying base makeup. I thought my cushion foundation might be the problem, so I tried different ones, but by afternoon, it still balls up the same way. I strongly discourage using this if you plan to wear makeup over it. However, if you're only applying sunscreen without makeup, it might be okay. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 9, 2025
It's incredibly gentle on the skin. My skin feels so comfortable. It doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. There's minimal white cast. Among all the mineral sunscreens I've tried, this one has the best absorption. In the photo, the left side of my hand is without the product, and the right side is with it applied. It gives a slight glow and subtle brightening effect. It's often out of stock at Olive Young, and there aren't many retailers that carry it. Also, it's disappointing that it doesn't go on sale as often as other products. Since it's a mineral sunscreen, instead of vigorously rubbing it in before makeup, I gently pat small amounts all over my face and lightly tap it to blend. Then, I spritz on some mist, pat it with a puff, and proceed with my base makeup. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 8, 2025
The ingredients are great, it absorbs well, and it's gentle. Being a mineral sunscreen, it's safe to use. As expected with mineral sunscreens, it does leave quite a noticeable white cast, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinMar 27, 2025
For combination dehydrated skin with small blemishes: Lightweight formula Doesn't irritate blemishes Can cleanse with foam cleanser alone Provides suitable brightening, absorbs like it's melting into the skin Feels like it adheres snugly to the skin Mineral sunscreen with a moisturizing texture, not too rich Hydrating yet gives a soft-focus effect, making skin look a bit prettier Lacks the cooling effect compared to sun sticks Only slightly cool when applying It's a sunscreen that doesn't require multiple layers, so I only apply it once. It spreads well with hands, so you can just quickly apply it with your fingers and it goes on smoothly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 26, 2024
It absorbed well without irritation, perfect for my dry and sensitive skin! The scent was unpleasant, which was disappointing. The fragrance lingers for a long time. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 25, 2024
Skin type: Dry (severe deep dryness) Pros: 1. Powerful sun protection with SPF50+ PA++++ and skin-friendly ingredients. Can be used without skin irritation. 2. Less drying compared to other sunscreens, with a pleasantly moisturizing finish. 3. Has a brightening effect, so it can double as a makeup base. 4. No eye irritation. The downside is the dryness that becomes noticeable as time passes... Seems to be a limitation of mineral sunscreens. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 24, 2024
This is my absolute favorite sunscreen! What I love most is that it doesn't sting my eyes at all. It's non-irritating and absorbs so well that I can apply it generously. Plus, the price is really reasonable. There's nothing bad to say. I just hope they don't increase the price without improving the formula. It would be great if they offered larger sizes or bundle discounts too! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSep 13, 2024
I tried this sunscreen with high hopes after Director Pi recommended it, and it's absolutely amazing! Unlike other sunscreens that would sting when I was out in the wind or in dry conditions, this one doesn't irritate my skin at all. I think it's because the ingredients are so gentle and high-quality. My skin texture looks fantastic too. Even when I apply it quickly, there are no streaks or patchiness. I highly recommend it! Currently, it's only available in a 40ml size. I wish they offered a larger volume option. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 12, 2024
This is the first sunscreen I've settled on since I started my skincare journey. I've tried many that claim to be gentle, like Plant Base, Cell Fusion C, and Etude's Soon Jung sunscreens, but they all irritated my eyes. However, this one doesn't sting my eyes at all and doesn't cause any blemishes, which I love. I have combination skin, but it doesn't cause breakouts anywhere on my face, and it doesn't feel heavy or suffocating. If I had to pick something, it would be the price. It feels a bit expensive for the amount you get. I've been using this with Cell Fusion C BB cream for about a year now. I think I've found my perfect base makeup combination with these two. They're fantastic! Please keep making great cosmetics.
