It adheres lightly to the skin while providing just the right amount of coverage to naturally conceal blemishes and pores. The staying power is impressive, and it strikes a perfect balance between hydration and a matte finish, leaving your complexion fresh without any shine. The downside is that those with dry skin might find it a bit too drying. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinMay 28, 2025
I prioritize coverage when it comes to cushion foundations, and this one was great. I'd recommend it to those who want to neutralize yellowish tones without looking too pale! Although it's a matte cushion, I bought it mainly for its coverage, which is my top priority when purchasing cushions. However, as someone with combination dehydrated skin, it does feel a bit too matte for me. I'm not sure if it's because I'm clumsy, but when using it for the first time, a lot of product comes out. At first, you should barely touch the puff to the mesh, almost as if you're just resting it there. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMay 7, 2025
First off, I was struck by how incredibly hydrating it felt! Many people recommended getting a shade lighter, so I did, and it's slightly brighter than expected - in a good way! The coverage is excellent! I found it really challenging to get it to adhere well to my skin. I bought it after watching YouTube reviews praising its seamless application and resistance to creasing, but I experienced a lot of pilling. The wear wasn't great either - it didn't look as good as I'd hoped, which makes me reluctant to use it. I wonder if it's because I'm struggling with the right amount to use. The mesh applicator was tricky to work with for precise application. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 2, 2025
Most mesh-type cushions are for a glowy finish, so I was pleasantly surprised to find this matte cushion! It has decent coverage and applies thinly, which is great. I mainly look for minimal darkening and thin application, and this product meets both criteria, so I'm really enjoying using it. The cushion tends to come out a bit dark and applies thinly, so you absolutely need to go down a shade or two from what you normally use! I usually use shades 21-23, but shade 17 worked well for me without looking too light or floating on my skin. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinMay 1, 2025
The formula is moisturizing and applies lightly. The mesh structure allows for even distribution of the product, making it easy to use. Shade 17 has a bright and radiant tone, suitable for fair skin. It doesn't break down significantly over time and has minimal caking. The coverage and adherence are comparable to typical cushion products. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin. I stopped using the cushion after experiencing blemishes. Initially, I thought it was just my acne-prone skin acting up, but my skin improved after discontinuing use, suggesting a connection to the product. As skin reactions can vary depending on ingredients, those with super sensitive skin should exercise caution. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 29, 2025
Makes skin look like porcelain. Effectively conceals pores and stays put without breaking down. As someone with oily skin, using this alone caused small blemishes to appear, so I couldn't finish the product and had to throw it away. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 29, 2025
The semi-matte finish provides excellent coverage. It's really, really good! As I have combination-dry skin, my cheeks feel slightly dry, and there's some pilling around my nose and T-zone. It also tends to emphasize dead skin cells, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinApr 28, 2025
I picked this up during the Olive Young sale and I'm impressed with its coverage. Even as a makeup novice, I find it easy to use. It does a decent job of concealing redness. However, it doesn't quite cover dark spots... There's also a slight feeling of it sitting on the skin. But overall, it's still pretty decent to use. This shade feels a bit darker compared to other products. Even though it's shade 17, it's almost identical to the Banila Co cushion in shade 19. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 23, 2025
The coverage is decent and it adheres well to the skin. I'd recommend getting a shade lighter than your actual complexion for best results. Nothing particularly bad, but the coverage could be a bit better. Also, it felt a bit dry for those with dry skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 10, 2025
I started using this in August last year and it's still my beloved item! As someone with super sensitive skin that gets flaky when I apply too little product and has makeup that separates when I apply too much, Hince has really eased my base makeup worries from summer to winter. First off, it absorbs beautifully and adheres to the skin in a thin layer without feeling heavy at all! Usually, products that adhere so thinly lack coverage, but this one provides excellent coverage. On days I wear this, I get that perfect egg-shell complexion. What I love most is that it barely breaks down for 24 hours, and even when it does, it does so gracefully without any darkening. My skin tone is a bit dark for shade 17 but too light for 21, so I generally prefer 19-20. The Porcelain shade was just perfect for me! It gives me that perfect brightened look. The only thing I wish for is a prettier and more sophisticated cushion case. Other than that, I have no complaints about the product's performance.
