It's a cute design that fits perfectly in one hand. Texture: The consistency is neither too soft nor too firm. Scent: It's almost fragrance-free, I'd say. Application: Perhaps because I didn't apply a large amount, I didn't notice any white cast. However, initially, you need to pat it in quite a bit for it to spread. It doesn't feel smooth or easy to apply. After use, it feels quite sticky, and those with oily skin should probably avoid it due to its greasy feel. Be cautious! Even though I have extremely dry skin, it feels a bit heavy to apply now... It might be better suited for winter use! Overall impression: I'm 34 weeks pregnant. I liked that it's said to be suitable for pregnant women, but looking at the ingredients, there are two concerning ones... I do appreciate that it doesn't have any harsh or artificial fragrances.
ConsWhen I first received it, I was shocked by how big the box was... It seems like excessive packaging, which I haven't seen in a while. I love plastic-free products, so I was really surprised when I got this... Disappointments with the product itself... As mentioned above, due to its greasiness and stickiness, it might be difficult for those with oily skin to use... It probably can't be used in summer. With so many high SPF products available these days, I wonder if SPF 37 provides enough coverage? If it were a lightweight product, I might consider layering it, but this one seems like it would feel too heavy and uncomfortable if reapplied... Overall, it seems like a somewhat disappointing product.

It would be great as a body sunscreen for those who enjoy outdoor activities, especially swimming or water sports. While it might feel heavy for everyday use due to its thick texture, this oiliness could actually be beneficial during outdoor activities. When you're in contact with water or sweating, the sunscreen is less likely to wash off and should last longer.
ConsIt's quite oily, and instead of absorbing well, it leaves a sticky layer on the skin. You should be cautious when using this on your face.

This product is also very hydrating. There's no eye irritation, and it has a slight white cast, which is great for my darker skin tone.
ConsIt's a bit too sticky, so even when I use the same cushion foundation, my makeup comes off much more easily... When I wear a mask at work, oh my, the transfer is incredible!
TipI think this is something you should apply when going out with a bare face.

I was pleased to hear that it provides effective sun protection and is gentle enough for children to use. I particularly appreciated that it's non-nano and silicone-free, which means it won't clog pores. This is crucial because blemishes always leave scars for me, so prevention is key. Some other sunscreens I've tried have caused breakouts, so I've been a bit of a sunscreen nomad, trying various products. Among all the sunscreens I've used, this one seems to have the best ingredients. I apply it every morning before work and haven't experienced any irritation. It's also great that it doesn't leave a white cast.
ConsGiven it's summer, the slightly thick texture and rich feel when applying can be a bit overwhelming. It might be challenging to reapply over makeup. This formula would probably be more suitable for winter. While it does give a nice glow that improves skin texture, it feels a bit sticky.

(I even fell asleep wearing it... and woke up surprised to find not a single blemish) - It's a mineral sunscreen that doesn't leave any white cast or make your face look ghostly! - Compared to other sunscreens, you can cover your face with a smaller amount thanks to its texture - It applies smoothly and evenly, which is impressive for a mineral sunscreen - Absolutely no eye irritation. I even rubbed my eyes unconsciously after applying, and it didn't bother me at all
Cons- The formula is quite rich... You don't need to use products with high oil content in your skincare routine with this I have sensitive and extremely dry skin, so I usually use oily products in my skincare routine, but my face felt sticky all day long with this Ironically, even with all this oiliness, I still got dead skin cells on my chin and cheeks... ;_; - Not recommended for those who want a mineral sunscreen that also works as a brightening moisturizer for a foundation-free look - It felt hard to remove with cleansing water. There was an unpleasant slippery feeling that lingered, like trying to wipe off oil with a wet wipe... Even after double cleansing, it felt like there was still residue - Too small amount for body use, seems like it's meant for face application only - I was a bit surprised when I checked the ingredients on Hwahae. I thought it would have no harmful ingredients since it didn't irritate my eyes... (But I guess this level of ingredients is necessary for effective sun protection in sunscreens?)
TipFor those with deep dryness, it's best to prep your skin with a serum for a solid base, finish with a hydrating cream, and then apply this sunscreen It tends to sit on top of oily creams, so in summer, the stickiness might make you feel uncomfortable 3_3 When I applied it on the back of my hand and wiped it off with a wet wipe, it seemed to come off easily, but on my face, it left residue. So, I think it's necessary to use cleansing oil for the first step of cleansing

There's hardly any white cast. It feels like applying a slightly rich emulsion. Scent: - The scent is nearly undetectable. It's so subtle that even those sensitive to fragrances should find it suitable. Sensitivity: - This product seems incredibly gentle. I have sensitive skin, but I experienced no eye irritation or skin irritation while using it.
ConsI have dry skin and prefer a moisturizing feel without stickiness. User Experience: - One drawback of the Ectoin Essence Sun Cream is that, as mentioned regarding the texture, it leaves a sticky feeling similar to applying a rich emulsion. I was also disappointed that it leaves behind the typical sunscreen shine.
TipDespite the less-than-ideal texture, this is truly an extremely gentle sunscreen. It causes zero irritation. As described, it's non-irritating enough to use on babies! I'd recommend it for those with super sensitive skin. I really appreciated that it didn't cause any eye stinging.

I loved that there were no blemishes or eye irritation. Although it's a mineral sunscreen, the white cast is minimal, just slightly noticeable. On a scale of 10 being completely white, I'd say it's about a 5. It also didn't cause much dryness.
ConsIt's quite rich~ This is both a pro and a con. The oiliness is good for preventing dryness, but because it's high in oil content, it can feel sticky. When you apply it to your face, any hair that touches your skin tends to get greasy.
TipIt's gentle with minimal white cast and doesn't dry out the skin, which is great, but it is oily. A tip is to lightly dust some powder around the edges of your face to prevent your hair from getting greasy. I learned this from Lee Chung Ah's YouTube channel. She applies sunscreen diligently but noticed her hair getting greasy, so she started using a finishing powder. I tried it myself and found it useful without causing much dryness. By the way, the hand model in the photo is my child!

Being a mineral sunscreen, it offers excellent protection and doesn't get absorbed, which keeps excess oil at bay - that's probably my favorite part. Despite being mineral-based, there's no white cast, which is great. It's perfect for men and kids too - you can apply it generously without any concerns. I think it's good value for money. The gentle formulation makes me feel like I'm getting a great deal on a sunscreen with quality ingredients at this price point. The thick plastic packaging is a plus - it doesn't heat up easily from external temperatures. Unlike many tube-type sunscreens that tend to melt and drip in hot weather, this one stays put. It's also very portable, and unlike tubes that might burst, the plastic container is much more reliable. The Hwahae Testers will love how quickly it absorbs, making it easy to apply anywhere on the body.
ConsThe application could be a bit smoother. It feels slightly stiff when applying, which can be a bit inconvenient. The finish leaves a slightly sticky residue, so that's an area that could use some improvement.
TipIt's great as a portable sunscreen (won't burst since it's not in a tube). Seems perfect for frequent reapplication on arms and legs when you're out and about.

Moisturizing feel It applies smoothly and feels hydrating from the moment you put it on. I thought it might be thick since it's a mineral sunscreen, but it spreads evenly without irritation. It's incredibly moisturizing, making it perfect for dry skin or those looking for a hydrating sunscreen. 2. Subtle brightening effect One reason people hesitate to use mineral sunscreens is the excessive white cast, but Barroncie's sunscreen gives a gentle, slightly radiant look without an overwhelming white cast. 3. Portability The small size makes it convenient to carry and apply on-the-go. It's perfect for popping in your bag when going out with the baby or for frequent reapplication during outings.
Cons1. Moisturizing but slightly sticky Perhaps due to the hot weather lately, it occasionally felt a bit sticky. If you prefer a matte finish, this might be a slight drawback. 2. Sun Protection Factor While the SPF is suitable for babies, it might be a bit low for adults to use. It's fine for indoor activities, but if you spend a lot of time outdoors, adults might find the protection factor insufficient.
TipIf you dislike the stickiness, use oil blotting papers after application.

It's a versatile essence-type product that's easy to use. - Packaging Convenient packaging for both storage and application. Stands upright nicely and compact enough to carry in a pouch. With the sun being so intense lately, I thought it would be great to carry this around! - Fragrance-free As someone who doesn't like strong scents, I appreciated that it's practically unscented. The lack of noticeable fragrance was a plus.
ConsIt feels a bit sticky for use on arms, legs, and other body parts, so it seems more suitable for facial skin.
