ConsCan't escape the characteristic heaviness of mineral sunscreens Leaves a greasy feeling Lower SPF might concern adults, but sufficient for daily use if not swimming

Also, some sunscreens can sting the eyes, but this one is safe for children, so I didn't experience any eye irritation.
ConsThe SPF is too low, unfortunately. Also, as I have dry skin, the application feels quite thick and draggy. It has a somewhat greasy feel, so I don't find myself reaching for it often.
TipI think I'll need to mix it with a hydrating moisturizer. It also seems like it will require frequent reapplication throughout the day.

Cons- It's disappointing that it contains two ingredients to be cautious about. They claim it's a mild sunscreen suitable for children, but I'm not so sure... - Those with oily skin might find it a bit greasy

However, the Baroncy Ectoin Essence Sunscreen applies smoothly and feels hydrating, likely due to its essence-like formula. It's gentle around the eyes with no stinging or white cast, making application a breeze. It absorbs quickly, which is great for rushed mornings! Recently, I've been prone to allergic reactions, but the gentle ingredients in this sunscreen allowed me to use it confidently without any skin irritation.
ConsAfter application, it feels like there's a slight film on the skin and leaves a bit of a glow. If you prefer a matte, powder-like finish, you might find this aspect a bit disappointing.
TipFor extended outdoor activities, it's best to reapply regularly for complete UV protection. Applying small amounts frequently is more effective than one thick layer.

I absolutely loved that! Also, it's great that there's no white cast!
ConsThe finish is quite greasy... Whether it's on my hands or face, it leaves a shiny residue that feels heavy in this summer weather. As a result, I find myself blotting off the excess oil with a tissue, just like using blotting paper.

Perfect size even for my small hands. Great for travel too. - No fragrance: This could be hit or miss, but I'm a fan. - Surprisingly smooth application, not as thick as expected. - Initially felt heavy, but no heaviness after absorption. - No eye irritation thanks to being a mineral sunscreen. - No white cast despite being mineral-based. - Leaves a glowy finish: When I applied a semi-matte foundation over Barroncie Ectoin Essence Suncream, it finished with just the right amount of matte on top without any deep dryness. I loved it even more as the natural oils came through over time (this may vary depending on skin type). - Gentle ingredients, no blemishes: I was excited to hear it's safe even for infants, and true to its promise, I had no breakouts. My skin tends to react to sunscreens, so I usually stick to gentle ones. No issues throughout use, which speaks to its quality ingredients. Conclusion: A mineral sunscreen with kind ingredients that doesn't dry out the skin.
Cons- The finish isn't completely fresh like you've applied nothing, so it might be tricky to use on the body. - It's not a lightweight formula, so take time to absorb it well when applying. Otherwise, it might pill. - Due to its rich texture, it might be challenging for oily or combination skin types to use in summer. It's a shame that despite its great ingredients, it's limited by skin type and season.
TipFor dry skin types who find it challenging to apply semi-matte or matte foundations, applying Barroncie Ectoin Essence Suncream beforehand can help you apply foundation without experiencing deep dryness.

As someone with sensitive and dry skin, it's crucial for me to find a product that's non-irritating while providing deep hydration without causing any dryness. I can immediately tell if a product is irritating by applying it around my eyes, and this one caused no stinging. Instead of just sitting on top of the skin, it felt like it was deeply moisturizing. The combination of hydration and richness makes it seem more suitable for dry skin rather than oily skin types. Despite being a mineral sunscreen, I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't pill when applied in small amounts and spread evenly. While it doesn't have a whitening effect or tone correction, it does give a lovely glow in bright light, as seen in the photo. Personally, I prefer colorless sunscreens that focus on UV protection, leaving skin tone correction to makeup products, so this suited me perfectly. Although I was initially concerned about the lower SPF compared to the SPF 50 products I usually use, I didn't notice any increase in tanning during daily use. The gentler formula, suitable even for children, likely accounts for the lower SPF. Being a mild mineral sunscreen in a compact size makes it great for on-the-go reapplication.
ConsDue to its rich texture, it doesn't come off easily with just soap or a gentle foam cleanser. You'll probably need a dedicated cleanser or cleansing oil to remove it thoroughly. However, this also suggests it has a somewhat waterproof quality, so it's not entirely a drawback!

I can confidently say it's so mild that even babies could use it. I've had laser eye surgery and suffer from severe dry eyes, which makes me cautious about applying sunscreen, and I'm prone to eye irritation. Usually, if I use the wrong sunscreen, I experience immediate symptoms around my eyes. However, this product is truly gentle, causing no irritation to my skin. I can even apply it right up to my lower lash line without any stinging sensation, which is fantastic. It's exactly the kind of sunscreen I've been searching for! The organic certification adds an extra layer of trust. It's less sticky than others, and the fact that I can share it with my child makes it even more practical. When we go out, I only need to bring this one product for the whole family to use. As someone with sensitive skin post-pregnancy, I find it safe and comfortable to apply. I'll definitely keep using this for a long time.
ConsThere's nothing particularly disappointing about this product. I didn't experience any blemishes and I'm very satisfied with it.
TipIt works well under makeup without causing any pilling.

It's perfect for frequent reapplication and doesn't irritate or sting my eyes. Some sunscreens can feel heavy when reapplying, but this one is different. Its compact size, secure cap, and smooth texture make it ideal for on-the-go touch-ups. I actually enjoyed reapplying this sunscreen when I was out and about!
ConsI was a bit skeptical about the lower SPF compared to other products on the market. Is it really effective enough? Due to this concern, I mainly used it for quick outings rather than extended outdoor activities.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsFirst off, I love that it doesn't have that typical sunscreen scent. You know that distinct smell UV cushions have? Well, this doesn't have it at all! The absorption is fantastic. When you apply it to your face, it feels like it's adhering perfectly to your skin. I'm really satisfied. And it must be so gentle because there's absolutely no eye irritation. Even with mineral sunscreens, I sometimes experience stinging or tearing, but with this one? Nothing at all. It's so mild that I find myself reaching for it often.
ConsThere's a tiny bit of white cast. When you apply it to your skin, it feels like a brightening moisturizer, but around the eyebrows it can look... well, a bit whitish? Haha. So you need to brush your eyebrows several times with a brow brush. Also, the SPF is quite low, so when I need to be outdoors for extended periods, I tend not to use it, unfortunately.
TipSince there's a slight white cast that gives a brightening effect, I found it works well when mixed with my brightening moisturizer. The way it adheres so well to the face helps set the tone-up effect nicely. Given that the Ectoin Essence Sunscreen has a lower SPF, mixing it with a tone-up cream that has sun protection gives me a bit more peace of mind about sun protection.
