My skin is super sensitive. While most oils irritate my skin, this one is gentle and excellent for removing sunscreen without any irritation. I wish they'd make it in a larger size. The amount is too small. I've been using it daily and it's almost gone already. As someone with super sensitive skin, finding a product that doesn't cause blemishes or redness can be challenging. This oil cleanser seems to work well for those with delicate complexions, effectively removing sunscreen without causing any burning sensation or tingling. However, the small size might be inconvenient for those who incorporate it into their daily cleansing routine. First off, it removes makeup really well without being harsh on the skin. It's also incredibly effective at extracting blackheads. As a cleansing balm, it's a bit inconvenient to have to open the lid every time you use it. - ho*********May 28, 2025
I've used up an entire tub. The user experience is identical to regular cleansing balms. Even though improper use of cleansing products can cause blemishes, this one is fine. It's a safe choice. It feels a bit too rich, if I had to describe it... The cleansing was done thoroughly and well, and I really liked that my skin didn't feel dry after washing. There is a lot of redness on my forehead, but when I use this, it subsides immediately. In my case, using this alongside my dermatologist-prescribed isotretinoin seemed to enhance the overall effectiveness. Occasionally, it left my skin feeling a bit oily or greasy. The Witch's Potion cleansing balm keeps me coming back because it's so hydrating! I have dry skin and usually my cheeks feel super tight after cleansing, but not with this one. It's also been a great help in managing sebum around my nose and T-zone. So far, I haven't experienced any blemishes or major disappointments with this product. It's easy to melt between your hands and apply to your face, making it perfect for facial massage. It dissolves smoothly without feeling stiff. I've been using this for almost two months, and there's so much product that I feel like it'll last for ages. It's excellent at removing eye makeup, and when I focus on cleansing, I can feel it dissolving sebum. What I love most is that there's no tightness after cleansing. While I'm extremely satisfied overall, sometimes the product gets stuck in the small groove of the built-in spatula, so I have to remove it with my fingernail. However, the superior performance makes it worth tolerating this minor inconvenience. I recommend using about 2/3 of the amount on the built-in spatula, as using too much balm can leave a slight oiliness after cleansing. For best results, apply to your face, massage thoroughly for 2-3 minutes, then add a little water and emulsify while massaging for another minute before rinsing. This method effectively removes both sebum and makeup.

Hydration: For those with excess sebum production, oil cleansers are often recommended. I've been using oils, but when I saw this on sale, I decided to try the Manyo Factory cleansing balm. It's my first time using it, and surprisingly, the cleansing balm feels even more hydrating and doesn't leave my skin feeling tight. I love it so much~ I'm planning to switch to balms permanently, haha! Value for money: It's on sale right now. Even at full price, it seems like it'll last a long time, so I'd recommend it for its value. Even a small amount leaves your skin silky smooth, unless you're wearing heavy makeup! Gentleness: This product is incredibly gentle. It really doesn't cause blemishes, removes makeup well, and is just great overall. I'm not sure about sebum production, but since it doesn't dry out my skin and feels hydrating, I wonder if that means it's also reducing sebum? There are no downsides. It's amazing, seriously.
