•Hydration! This seems to be its biggest advantage. •I mainly use mineral sunscreens, and I'm used to thick and heavy mineral formulas. So I squeezed this one hard without thinking and was surprised when a lot came out at once... The texture is so fluid that it applies smoothly like an emulsion, feeling light and moisturizing. •It seems like the perfect sunscreen for days when you dislike white cast and want a light, hydrating finish like skincare. •It's great for reapplication, and it was good for hydration and sun protection touch-ups as time passed. It would be perfect for frequent application during summer trips! •I appreciated that the shipping packaging used paper wrapping with string instead of bubble wrap, making it feel like it was sent with care. •This type is ideal for applying on the neck. •Being accustomed to mineral sunscreens, when I applied this after intense moisturizing, especially with a hydrating cream, it absorbed slowly and caused my cushion foundation to pill. •Since it doesn't have a white cast or tone-up effect, you might need to apply a light cushion or base. To prevent pilling, you'll need to adjust your skincare routine for better absorption. •Due to its moisturizing and runny texture, it stung a bit when it got into my eyes. I usually only use mineral sunscreens, so I realized this is what sunscreen eye irritation feels like. •Personally, as someone who relies on sunscreen for basic tone correction in my makeup routine, this product might not be suitable for such use. •This product clearly excels in moisturizing and smoothness, so it's great when used for its intended purpose. It seems perfect for days when you don't need tone correction or extensive skincare, but still need to go out and prioritize hydration - just apply it lightly. •It appears that shaking the product before use helps mix the formula well. Remember not to squeeze too hard! A large amount comes out at once. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 27, 2023
• Moisturizing sunscreen that keeps skin hydrated and soft • UVA PA++++ UVB SPF 50+ protection • Comprehensive UV protection using FDA-approved sunscreen filters • Contains hyaluronic acid to help maintain skin's natural moisture • Includes sustainable, eco-friendly ingredients extracted from cabbage • Smooth cream texture • No artificial fragrances added • Leaves no white cast or rich residue • Non-sticky finish • Lacks brightening effects, so you may need to use a separate brightening moisturizer • Remember to apply generously to your neck as well, since it's considered part of your face - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 27, 2023
The Hwahae Testers Review This product applies smoothly like a moisturizer, true to its organic UV filter characteristics. It's lightweight yet keeps skin hydrated even in winter. As someone who applies sunscreen year-round, I find it perfect for seasonal transitions and winter use, with its high SPF and non-drying formula. I love that it leaves no white cast, doesn't feel sticky, and doesn't transfer. It adheres lightly to the skin without feeling heavy, making it comfortable to wear. You can layer it multiple times without pilling or separation, making it great for reapplication. Being free from artificial fragrances, it's reassuring for the skin. Its unscented nature makes it suitable for those sensitive to fragrances. It works well as a makeup base, not pilling when applied before foundation. While there weren't many downsides, it did cause slight eye irritation, so it's best to avoid the eye area when applying. It doesn't have any skin-perfecting properties, which might disappoint those looking for a foundation-free product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 11, 2023
The best thing about using this sunscreen is that it doesn't leave a white cast and it's bursting with hydration. Given the dry weather lately, I was really satisfied with how moisturizing it is while still absorbing well into the skin! There's no eye irritation, and I think even people with super sensitive skin would be quite happy with this sunscreen. It doesn't pill and applies smoothly. When I first squeezed it out, I noticed it has a light yellow tint, which is quite pretty!! After finishing this, I'll definitely be purchasing it with my own money. It's a bit disappointing that it's not a brightening moisturizer type of sunscreen. The sunscreen itself feels somewhat cool! I think it would be great to apply even in summer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 11, 2023
# Texture and Absorption The emulsion-like texture is quite fluid when dispensed, spreading easily on the skin. Thanks to its consistency, it applies smoothly without clumping and absorbs quickly, which I really appreciated. # Hydration Despite its light application, it doesn't leave the skin feeling dry or like moisture is evaporating. It seems suitable for use year-round, whether in summer or winter. # Scent I hardly noticed any fragrance, which I found pleasant as it's not overpowering. # Application Experience Unlike some sunscreens, it doesn't feel heavy or thick on the skin, making it compatible with base makeup. After letting it absorb for a bit before applying foundation, there was no pilling, which was great. # Longevity While I haven't tested it in summer, it seems to provide good UV protection in the current season, absorbing well into the skin. However, its lightweight feel might make you forget you've applied it! # Lack of Tone Correction It feels more like a skincare product than a sunscreen, offering no tone correction. This might disappoint those who rely solely on sunscreen for their base. # Packaging The luxurious packaging looks more suited for a cream or essence, which some may love. However, its length might compromise portability. This could be a polarizing feature. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 10, 2023
I switch up my sunscreen with the seasons. For dry months, I opt for products with more hydration, while in hotter weather, I go for less hydrating options to balance my skin's oil and moisture. This product is perfect for the current dry season. It's moisturizing and glides on smoothly without causing any pilling with makeup. Since sunscreen is a daily essential, it can be really stressful if it doesn't apply well or interferes with makeup. This sunscreen is ideal for winter - it's hydrating and effortless to apply with a quick swipe! This product doesn't even out the complexion, but I don't consider it a major drawback since you can mix it with other products to achieve that effect. If you're looking to even out your skin tone, try mixing this with a sunscreen that has brightening properties. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 7, 2023
The texture is like a thin emulsion! The name 'Water Soft' suits it perfectly. It applies smoothly and absorbs well without any pilling. It might be a bit disappointing if used alone... There's no complexion correction or anything like that, it's just a pure sunscreen. So if you're looking for a sunscreen that evens skin tone, this might not be the right choice for you! My skin gets very dry in winter, so I usually apply various products before makeup. This sunscreen is hydrating, making it great as a base. Apply it well with a puff before putting on makeup! - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 7, 2023
Scent: It's fragrance-free, making it comfortable to use. Texture: It feels like an emulsion! Applies incredibly smoothly without clumping. Hydration: This is the most moisturizing sunscreen I've ever tried. It's even more hydrating than J**mu! After application, your face gets an instant moisture glow. White cast: Absolutely none. Tone correction: It doesn't even out skin tone. This might be a bit disappointing for those who, like me, don't wear much makeup. Eye irritation: It's not severe, but there's a very slight stinging sensation. If it weren't for the eye irritation, this would be a five-star sunscreen for me. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 5, 2023
True to its name, this is a moisturizing water sun cream that applies as smoothly as a milky emulsion, making it a pleasure to use. Unlike matte sunscreens that can pill and dry out the skin despite good ingredients, this one absorbs well, keeping skin hydrated without any white cast. The slim tube packaging is not only user-friendly but also convenient for on-the-go application. It would be nice if it had a bit more of a brightening effect on the complexion. I'm wishing for a product that combines rich hydration with a slight illuminating effect for a more radiant look. As someone with blemish-prone skin that's been experiencing flakiness due to the winter weather, I've found a great routine. Before applying cushion foundation, I carry this slim tube sunscreen with me. I squeeze out a small amount, gently pat it into my skin with my fingertips until it absorbs well, then follow up by lightly tapping on my cushion foundation. It doesn't cause any pilling and works wonderfully.
