It applies incredibly moisturizing and adheres perfectly to the skin. What's great is that even when I apply cushion or foundation over it, there's hardly any caking or pilling. It's fantastic! Lately, with winter dryness causing dead skin cells to appear, other sunscreens would catch on those rough patches and look awful. But this product, while it doesn't eliminate dead skin cells, absorbs like an emulsion, which I absolutely love! The downsides? Hmm... If I really had to pick something, maybe the price and the lack of brightening effect? Other than that, I can't think of anything else. After cleansing, I use a toner pad, then apply a thin layer of ampoule and hydrating cream. Once that's absorbed, I put on this sunscreen. By the time I've changed and start my makeup, my skin has really taken it all in beautifully. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 9, 2024
I loved how it applied smoothly and moisturized without clumping! It finished with a light and fresh feel, without any stickiness, making it great for applying makeup. Since it's fragrance-free, even those with sensitive noses can use it without worry. Personally, I prefer tone-up sunscreens. This product doesn't have any brightening effect, which was a bit disappointing for me. The formula is moisturizing yet finishes fresh and light, so it should be great for summer use! Choosing a sunscreen for summer can be tricky due to the heat and humidity, but this product shouldn't feel heavy even in those conditions. Also, I think it would work well not just for the face, but for the body too! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 8, 2024
This is the most hydrating sunscreen I've ever used, absolutely bursting with moisture. While both mineral and chemical sunscreens have their merits, in winter when my face feels tight, I gravitate towards softer formulas like sun gels or sun emulsions - and this product fits the bill perfectly. It's so fluid that you might wonder if it's actually providing sun protection, but it has just the right balance of hydration and richness. It's far more moisturizing than other sunscreens I've tried. I apply it generously before my cushion foundation, wait about 5 minutes, and my makeup goes on smoothly without pilling or dryness. It's closer to a sun gel in texture. Mineral sunscreens are fine on their own, but under BB cream or cushion, they can make makeup look cakey and feel heavy. In winter, when my skin is so dry that even constant misting doesn't help, this product feels notably more fluid than other chemical sunscreens. I love how the hydration lasts throughout the day. As a chemical sunscreen, it doesn't have any brightening or tone-up effects. I can't go out wearing just this sunscreen alone - I'd look completely bare-faced. But since I apply makeup over it anyway, it's not an issue for me. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 4, 2024
I opened the package without much expectation due to the unfamiliar name, but I might just love it! The tube's unique shape, different from typical sunscreens, really appealed to me. Let me list the things I liked: 1. It has a light, emulsion-like texture that applies and absorbs well into the skin. 2. It's incredibly soft, leaving your skin feeling moisturized rather than sticky. 3. Best feature: Absolutely no white cast! Thumbs up! 4. As someone who struggles to find sunscreens due to eye irritation, I'm thrilled this doesn't sting my eyes at all. 5. No blemishes, so it should work well for oily skin too. 6. The nearly fragrance-free formula is a huge plus. 7. No pilling, so you can effectively layer it by applying small amounts. 8. Personally, I prefer the lack of brightening effect, as I dislike looking overly pale. 1. The price point might be the biggest concern. I'd love to buy it when it's on sale. 2. Not recommended for those seeking a brightening moisturizer effect. For best results, pat it in gently and layer as needed. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 31, 2023
Texture and Feel: It's a sun essence type. The absorbs well and sinks in immediately. There's absolutely no white cast. I have sensitive skin so I mainly used mineral sunscreens, but the Laneige Water Soft Sun Cream is non-irritating and absorbs quickly, which I'm very satisfied with. Hydration: I have dry skin, and even when applying it in winter, it goes on moisturizing which is great. Adherence: Even when applied over a rich cream, the Laneige Water Soft Sun Cream doesn't pill. I usually apply foundation and BB cream after sunscreen, and it pairs well with makeup. This might not be suitable for those looking for a sunscreen with makeup base or brightening moisturizer functions. I'd recommend it to people like me who are searching for a gentle, hydrating sunscreen that absorbs well. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinDec 28, 2023
Given how dry it gets in winter, most sunscreens leave my skin parched. But this product feels like a hydrating moisturizer! It's surprisingly rich in hydration for a sunscreen, making it perfect for daily use when I'm not wearing makeup. Unfortunately, if you layer it over multiple skincare products, it tends to pill. When applied after minimal skincare, it initially feels like a moisturizer, but the skin feels dry as time passes. It doesn't work well under makeup, causing significant pilling, so it's not ideal for use with cosmetics. It also doesn't provide much of a brightening effect, which is disappointing for standalone use. While brightening moisturizers often feel drying, mixing this with one creates a nicely hydrating sunscreen effect. However, given its high price per volume, using it this way feels a bit extravagant. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 27, 2023
• Moisturizing sunscreen that keeps skin hydrated and soft • UVA PA++++ UVB SPF 50+ protection • Comprehensive UV protection using FDA-approved sunscreen filters • Contains hyaluronic acid to help maintain skin's natural moisture • Includes sustainable, eco-friendly ingredients extracted from cabbage • Smooth cream texture • No artificial fragrances added • Leaves no white cast or rich residue • Non-sticky finish • Lacks brightening effects, so you may need to use a separate brightening moisturizer • Remember to apply generously to your neck as well, since it's considered part of your face - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 11, 2023
The best thing about using this sunscreen is that it doesn't leave a white cast and it's bursting with hydration. Given the dry weather lately, I was really satisfied with how moisturizing it is while still absorbing well into the skin! There's no eye irritation, and I think even people with super sensitive skin would be quite happy with this sunscreen. It doesn't pill and applies smoothly. When I first squeezed it out, I noticed it has a light yellow tint, which is quite pretty!! After finishing this, I'll definitely be purchasing it with my own money. It's a bit disappointing that it's not a brightening moisturizer type of sunscreen. The sunscreen itself feels somewhat cool! I think it would be great to apply even in summer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 9, 2023
• The moisturizing formula applies like an emulsion! So there's no white cast! It's perfect for quickly applying on busy mornings before work. The hydrating texture doesn't feel heavy or suffocating like you've layered on too much product. • It's an excellent sunscreen for winter use, and it doesn't pill! • Due to its moisturizing, emulsion-like texture, it doesn't provide much tone-up effect. If you use it without foundation, your skin might look bare... • It's not waterproof. • The quantity... While I received this as a gift, I don't think the performance justifies the price if I were to buy it. There seem to be many other options available. * This might be a matter of personal preference, but I wasn't particularly satisfied. While I liked the lightweight, emulsion-like texture, I was unsure about its UV protection effectiveness. Being emulsion-like, it felt like it would wash off easily with just a bit of water. However, it might be a good product to apply before makeup in winter! • This seems like a sunscreen I'd use frequently in winter! I'd recommend it to those looking for a hydrating sunscreen. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 8, 2023
No white cast, no stickiness, no oiliness, no pilling! 💙 A moisturizing and lightweight gel formula with an opaque texture 💙 Absorbs quickly and leaves a fresh finish 💙 Gentle ingredients that won't irritate sensitive skin It absorbs into the skin just like a skincare product, ensuring your base makeup doesn't slide off or look patchy. This product is great for all skin types and seasons. It doesn't clog pores, making it especially ideal for those with sensitive or oily skin - you'll love how it feels! There were no downsides! If you're looking for a product with brightening effects, you might find this lacking. I mixed it with a thick foundation, and it improved the application, allowing for a thin, hydrated skin finish. It was great!
