Skin type: Sensitive + Dry Texture: True to its 'Water Soft' name, it spreads smoothly and doesn't leave any feeling of tightness after application. There's no white cast, so it feels like applying a regular moisturizer! It doesn't interfere with makeup either. I also appreciated the almost fragrance-free formula. As someone with super sensitive skin, I've experienced stinging with some sunscreens, but I didn't feel any irritation with this Lanc product! Packaging: The long, slender tube offers a good grip, but I'm concerned about getting all the product out towards the end. Price: It feels slightly expensive for the amount you get. With so many great sunscreens on the market these days, the price point is a bit burdensome. Since this sunscreen is quite hydrating, try mixing it with a matte foundation. It creates a beautiful semi-matte finish with good staying power. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 9, 2024
It applies incredibly moisturizing and adheres perfectly to the skin. What's great is that even when I apply cushion or foundation over it, there's hardly any caking or pilling. It's fantastic! Lately, with winter dryness causing dead skin cells to appear, other sunscreens would catch on those rough patches and look awful. But this product, while it doesn't eliminate dead skin cells, absorbs like an emulsion, which I absolutely love! The downsides? Hmm... If I really had to pick something, maybe the price and the lack of brightening effect? Other than that, I can't think of anything else. After cleansing, I use a toner pad, then apply a thin layer of ampoule and hydrating cream. Once that's absorbed, I put on this sunscreen. By the time I've changed and start my makeup, my skin has really taken it all in beautifully. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 9, 2024
I've always had issues with sunscreens feeling greasy and leaving a white cast, but this Water Soft product just glides on and absorbs instantly. It feels so hydrating! It works well under makeup and doesn't leave my skin dry even in winter. I absolutely love how lightweight it feels - it's like I'm not wearing anything at all. The fact that it's fragrance-free is a huge plus. It's a universally appealing product. The case is a bit long, which makes it slightly hard to spot when storing. It's not really a drawback, more of a personal preference - I just tend to like chunkier packaging. It's fantastic how you can squeeze some onto the back of your hand and smooth it over your face. It's hydrating and moisturizing at the same time. I love that I can reapply it throughout the day without it feeling heavy. I'll definitely be repurchasing this - 100% guaranteed! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 9, 2024
Provides great hydration, leaving skin feeling moisturized. Absorbs well into the skin. Perfect for applying during dry winter months. After some time, it leaves the skin looking quite shiny, though it's hard to tell if it's due to excess oil or hydration. Works well as a base under matte foundations or cushion compacts. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinJan 9, 2024
Skin condition - severe deep dryness and compromised skin barrier Sunscreen is crucial, so I tried the Lancôme Watery Soft Sunscreen. As the name suggests, it's truly a watery sunscreen. It feels like a thin emulsion, giving a cool sensation upon application. Applying it felt like putting on an essence, and it went on transparently. Even with makeup on top, it kept my skin moisturized and applied smoothly. What I loved most was that unlike other sunscreens, it wasn't sticky at all, leaving my skin feeling fresh. I'm not sure if it's because I wear contact lenses for long periods, but I experienced slight eye irritation. Also, if you mix it with a moisturizer or emulsion before applying, it might pill a little bit like dead skin cells. It works well when mixed with a hydrating cream for a moisturizing effect. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinJan 9, 2024
This product is a game-changer! It's incredibly hydrating and gentle. I've never experienced any blemishes while using it. I'm prone to small bumps, but they didn't appear with this. I love it, love it!!! After my skincare routine, I use Etude Double Wear foundation, which is matte and powdery. In winter, my skin usually gets dry as time passes, but just by switching to this sunscreen, it's become so moisturizing that it feels like I've added an extra skincare step. There's absolutely no eye irritation. I have sensitive eyes, and when sunscreens irritate them, I end up tearing up all day. But with this, my eyes don't sting at all! I've finally found a sunscreen without any drawbacks! Thank you, please keep selling this for a long time! If I had to find something to improve, it's that maybe because of the tube packaging, a lot comes out with one squeeze. But since we're supposed to use about a 500-won coin size of sunscreen, it's not really an issue. When applied before a matte foundation, it gives a dewy, moisturized look. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinJan 9, 2024
Absorbs incredibly well - it goes on even more moisturizing than an emulsion. I've always looked for sunscreens similar to emulsions because regular ones often feel greasy or drying, but this one applies so smoothly and feels wonderfully hydrating! It's fragrance-free, which I love. Since sunscreen goes on top of other skincare products that may already have scents, having an unscented sunscreen prevents any overwhelming fragrance combinations. The narrow nozzle is great for controlling how much product comes out and makes it easy to apply directly to the face. It's packed with hydration, which is perfect for my extremely dry and sensitive skin. I had almost given up on sunscreens because they would make my skin itchy, burning, or dry, but this one causes no irritation at all! Unlike other sunscreens that leave a greasy residue on my hands, this one feels fresh and moisturizing without any need to wash or wipe off excess product. As someone with extremely dry skin, I do notice it feels slightly dry after some time, but when I apply a good base of skincare products underneath, I barely notice any dryness. Other than that, I don't have any complaints! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 8, 2024
First off, my skin condition hasn't been great lately. Despite having the worst combination of blemish-prone, sensitive, and redness-prone skin, I had been managing it well. However, just when I received this sunscreen, my skin flared up... I was hesitant about trying a new product. But upon using it, I found it incredibly gentle. I didn't notice any additional blemishes or issues. As someone with oily skin who feels a bit dry after using serum and cream, adding this before makeup made my skin feel much less dehydrated. The texture is similar to an emulsion. It doesn't feel like a typical sunscreen at all, spreading like a thin emulsion. Rather than saying it spreads, it feels like it absorbs instantly when you massage it in. Despite this, it doesn't make my skin overly shiny after makeup, nor does it cause pilling, which is great. Additionally, I found the packaging design surprisingly luxurious, and it's nearly fragrance-free. I didn't experience any tingling around my eyes, and there's absolutely no white cast. The only thing is, I haven't tested this product under intense summer sun, so I can't speak to its sun protection effectiveness in those conditions. Since it's a sunscreen, the formula probably contains some oils, right? Perhaps because of this, there was one instance where a water-like substance separated from the formula and came out. Other than that, I couldn't find any significant drawbacks. The formula seems really great for quick absorption. Rather than applying it over a heavy skincare routine, it might be good to skip one step and use this instead. It's incredibly hydrating! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 8, 2024
I used to prefer stick sunscreens for my busy mornings due to their convenience and lack of white cast. However, as the season changed, my skin became noticeably dry. Luckily, I won this cream-type sunscreen and gave it a try. It applies incredibly smoothly and absorbs well. Even by afternoon, my skin feels less dry. Unlike some sunscreens that sting my eyes and make them water, this one doesn't irritate even when applied near the eyes. Its emulsion-like texture makes it easy to apply thinly and leaves a comfortable, moisturized finish. Being fragrance-free, it would be great for those with sensitive noses too. There weren't any particular downsides for me. However, those looking for a brightening moisturizer effect might be disappointed. Also, while its hydrating formula is great for my combination dehydrated skin, I'm not sure how well it will hold up in summer. There weren't any particular downsides for me. ✔️ Texture The formula is thin with a slight viscosity. It absorbs well due to its lightweight nature, and when applied before makeup, it spreads thinly without pilling. I'm completely satisfied with how well my foundation applies over this! ✔️ Hydration For my combination dehydrated skin, this sunscreen is quite moisturizing, making it perfect for dry winter days. It's not greasy at all, just full of hydration, which I love. My skin doesn't feel suffocated either. ✔️ Fragrance-free I absolutely love that it's fragrance-free!!! Fragrances can be bad for the skin, and I find it uncomfortable to apply products with artificial scents or that 'mom's makeup' smell. ✔️ Gentle No skin irritation at all! It doesn't cause blemishes and is very gentle. I haven't found any downsides yet. If I had to pick something, maybe the price?
