The first thing I liked was the texture.
Just as the name suggests, it's a cross between a gel and a lotion,
and the moment you apply it, it feels moist and refreshing, yet it finishes off nicely and lightly.
After application, the surface feels powdery, but the inside feels fully hydrated,
so it's not at all stuffy, even on hot and humid days.

And the soothing effect is quite good too!
My cheeks often get red due to wearing masks,
but after applying the Hwahae Gel Lotion, I feel the heat sensation subsiding,

For the past 2 weeks, I was able to use the product through the Hwahae Trial Reviewers program... Since I submitted it late, I feel like I've used it for about 20 days.

First of all, the spreadability seems similar to the Red Cream from Dak*ji! Especially, I thought this formula would be even better if applied after refrigeration, so I used it after refrigerating it. As expected! Using it this way, I felt a cooling sensation on my face and it seemed to soothe the heat.

There's also no unpleasant smell, which is great! I really dislike artificial fragrances, but this one is just perfect!

My skin is on the oily side! Since it's a lightweight gel-type formula, it provides moisture without making the skin feel stuffy, which I like.

I also pay attention to the packaging design since I go to the gym, and the design is so well-made that it's almost like a department store brand product.

Given that I had used ampoules before, I couldn't help but feel that they lacked a bit of moisturizing power for nighttime use. Applying it twice or using it in the summer would likely be better.

1️⃣ As for the application, it's a lotion, but it's not too thick and not too lightweight either - it's just the right lotion. These days, moisturizers are too lightweight, and other lotions are too heavy. It applies smoothly with a slightly velvety feel.
2️⃣ The absorption is good - it doesn't feel like I have anything on my face, but it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry and it gets absorbed quickly.
3️⃣ The scent is not artificial, it's like a peach scent? I really liked it as soon as I smelled it. It might not be peach, but it has a fruity floral kind of feel, and I think most people would like it regardless of their preferences.

but the one thing, the Hwahae ingredient, just doesn't work for me.
It just itched, and small bumps appeared on my face skin, so I couldn't apply it after 3 days.

What I liked most was the ingredient list - it's formulated with the types of ingredients I prefer.

I would recommend this product to those with uneven skin tone or sensitive skin.

Some cosmetic products may separate their oil and water components when refrigerated, but this product's detailed information TIP states that refrigerating it can provide an even more refreshing sensation (recommended temperature range is 10°C to 30°C)! In the summer, refrigerating it should be fine as well!

The sticker on the product's packaging is so pretty, so I tried sticking it on my lotion bottle - it's fun to create your own customized cosmetics! Since I'm using a sticker that would otherwise be discarded, it feels even more rewarding. Enjoy these little pleasures!
