True to its name, it feels like a mix between a gel and an emulsion. When you apply it, it's instantly hydrating and cool, but quickly settles to a fresh finish. After application, the surface feels soft and powdery, while underneath it feels deeply hydrated. It's not at all heavy, even on hot and humid days. The soothing effect is also quite good! My cheeks often get red due to wearing masks, but after applying this Innisfree Gel Emulsion, I feel like the heat sensation subsides. It's great for use on irritated skin too!
ConsIf I had to point out a drawback, the moisturizing effect doesn't last very long. It gives an immediate boost of hydration, but those with dry skin or those using it at night might find it a bit lacking.
TipMy pro tip is to keep it in the refrigerator before use! Especially when your skin is super sensitive or feeling hot, applying it cold really doubles the cooling effect and soothing power. For daytime, I recommend using it alone for a light layer. At night, try layering it under a moisturizing cream. This way, you can get that burst of hydration while maintaining long-lasting moisture!

It seems great for summer use, and those with dry skin might want to layer a cream on top. When I applied it during a breakout, it had a mild soothing effect. The scent is a natural, not artificial fragrance. The texture is a bouncy, hydrating gel.
ConsFor those with dry skin, it might not provide quite enough hydration.
TipGiven its skin-calming properties, it could be effective to apply when your skin feels hot or you're experiencing blemishes, then get a good night's sleep for best results.

I really appreciated how this product provided hydration and had a soothing effect on my skin.
ConsSometimes I had to apply it twice, so I wish there was a bit more product. It would be great if it came in a larger size too.

However, with this soothing gel emulsion, I didn't feel dry even hours after application, and it seemed to absorb well into the deeper layers of the skin, visibly calming the redness - For my blemish-prone and oily (combination dehydrated) skin, there's no stickiness or residue, making it perfect for summer use! It absorbs quickly, so I could get ready faster in the mornings
Cons- It might be a bit drying in winter. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I didn't notice any major drawbacks, but those with dry skin might find it insufficient

ConsScent: Personally found it too strong, so I'm not a fan of the fragrance

The pump bottle made it convenient to use. My skin has been extra sensitive lately due to dryness, but this product had a soothing effect. It was especially effective when used with a modeling mask - my skin calmed down quickly. It's very hydrating and absorbs well.
ConsThe scent is a bit disappointing, but not strong enough to cause a headache, so it's okay. The hydration and lasting power could be better though. You'll need to apply a separate moisturizer.

First off, I really appreciate that it's vegan and formulated with gentle ingredients. It gives me peace of mind knowing that even kids can use it without worry. The gel emulsion isn't too heavy and seems to absorb well into the skin. As someone who often experiences redness, I feel it has a soothing effect. The scent is practically fragrance-free. The packaging is also user-friendly - not bulky and seals nicely, making it convenient to use.
ConsThere wasn't anything particularly disappointing about this product. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for other products from this brand.

It seems to contain all the essential components for hydration and soothing. The fact that it's manufactured by Kolmar Korea adds to its credibility. Hydration and Soothing Effects: During seasonal changes, when the weather fluctuates rapidly, my skin becomes super sensitive. With inflammatory reactions, treating blemishes often makes my skin even more sensitive. However, using this emulsion definitely calms my skin. Texture: As an emulsion, it's lightweight. Yet, it doesn't leave my skin feeling parched.
ConsI can't think of any significant drawbacks. It worked perfectly during the change of seasons!
TipThis would be great for combination dehydrated skin or those prone to blemishes during seasonal changes and summer. However, if you have dry skin, an emulsion alone might not be enough - consider layering a cream on top for extra moisture.

(Used for about 2 weeks) What I loved most was how it absorbs well without feeling sticky, leaving a fresh finish! As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I prefer products that provide hydration without leaving an oily residue, and the Innoa Soothing Gel Emulsion fits the bill perfectly. Being a gel emulsion, I was worried about potential dryness after absorption, but it kept my skin moisturized without any issues. It absorbs quickly, and I kept it in the fridge, which helped soothe any heat or irritation on my skin.
ConsThe artificial scent, somewhat reminiscent of aloe, was a bit off-putting for me. If you're not sensitive to fragrances, I'd recommend giving it a try!
TipI recommend storing it in the fridge like I did for an extra cooling effect.

I was relieved to use the Innoan Soothing Gel Emulsion because it's a vegan-certified product. Applying it generously as the last step before bed left my skin noticeably softer and calmer the next morning, which was very satisfying. 1. Calming & Hydration My skin tends to break out easily with oily products, so I prefer lightweight hydration. This product's gel texture provides ample hydration without feeling heavy, which I really appreciated. After cleansing and toning, using just this emulsion kept my skin moisturized for quite a while without any deep dryness. 2. Ingredients The vegan ingredients made it safe for even sensitive skin like mine. Usually, changing skincare products causes immediate blemishes for me, but this one actually seemed to soothe my skin without any negative reactions. I even noticed less redness after using it. 3. Application The pump bottle makes it hygienic and easy to control the amount used. I liked the slight cooling effect when applying, and it absorbs quickly without any stickiness, making it perfect for nighttime use.
ConsBeing a vegan line suitable even for babies, it does come with a slightly higher price tag. Because of this, I'd recommend it more as a product for when your skin is feeling particularly sensitive or in need of extra soothing care, rather than for daily use.
