The first thing I liked was the texture. Just as the name suggests, it's a cross between a gel and a lotion, and the moment you apply it, it feels moist and refreshing, yet it finishes off nicely and lightly. After application, the surface feels powdery, but the inside feels fully hydrated, so it's not at all stuffy, even on hot and humid days. And the soothing effect is quite good too! My cheeks often get red due to wearing masks, but after applying the Hwahae Gel Lotion, I feel the heat sensation subsiding, so it's also good to use on irritated skin!!:)

The ingredients are really good. It seems to contain almost all the ingredients that help with moisture and soothing. Since the manufacturer is Kolmar Korea, I have more trust in it. The moisturizing and soothing effects are great. In the changing seasons, my skin becomes very sensitive, and even with inflammatory reactions, my skin tends to become more sensitive when trying to care for the troubles. So I used this lotion, and it definitely calms my skin. As it is a lotion, it is lightweight. However, it does not feel completely dried out.

I have sensitive, reddish combination skin! (Used for about 2 weeks) The part I liked the most was that it absorbed smoothly without any stickiness! Since I have combination skin, I like products that hydrate without leaving an oily residue, and the Innisfree Soothing Gel Lotion was perfect for that.
