It's not unscented, but has a subtle fragrance which I personally enjoy. I'd recommend this more for dry skin than oily skin. In winter, it might be good to pair it with a more hydrating product for extra moisture.
ConsOn my skin, I felt more of an oily sensation rather than hydration. As I don't prefer products with a rich feel, this was a bit disappointing for me.
TipI'd recommend this more for summer than winter, and it's especially suitable for those with dry skin.

And true to its name, it really is a gel emulsion!! It's like they've conveniently transformed an aloe soothing gel into an emulsion form, and I absolutely loved it! Soothing gels can be slippery and inconvenient to scoop out with a spatula, but this product can be applied easily like an emulsion without hygiene concerns. I especially loved how it felt like it was filling my skin with hydration. As someone with dehydrated skin, this hydrating product was a perfect match for me!! I really liked how it applied lightly and moisturized without being too thick or sticky. It also absorbs really quickly! It would be great for morning use for those who don't like products that remain sticky. The scent was also quite unique! It has a peachy vibe, which I personally enjoyed. Overall, it was a convenient and pleasant product to use. Key points: - Convenience of using a soothing gel like an emulsion - Quick absorption - Good for calming the skin - Moisturizing application! Full of hydration - Sweet peachy scent
ConsI didn't have any major complaints, but the scent might be a matter of personal preference! If you don't like fruity or sweet scents, you might find it difficult to use. Also, for those with very dry skin, you may need to use an additional product with more oil content! Key points: - The scent might not be for everyone - Lacks oiliness for those with very dry skin
TipFirst, I highly recommend using it as a pre-makeup emulsion. Since heavy textures can be burdensome in the morning, this non-sticky and moisturizing formula is perfect for skincare before makeup. Actually, it's a versatile product that can be used in many ways! Depending on your skin type, you can use it as a single product or as a light first step. If you're dry, use it as a first step, and in summer, it's great for soothing the skin. Key points: - Great as a skincare base before makeup - Can be used in various ways depending on skin type and season

As someone with dry skin, I was concerned about how it would feel, but it surprisingly helped with deep dryness without being sticky, which I'm quite pleased with. The texture is right in between a soothing cream and an emulsion?! It seems perfect for summer use! The finish is so nice that the next cream step absorbs well without feeling like it's just sitting on top of the skin. I especially loved the scent, which made using this product a truly satisfying experience.
ConsWhile it seems to address deep dryness for dry skin, it lacks richness. It felt a bit drier than a regular emulsion.
TipI think mixing in a drop or two of jojoba oil would provide sufficient hydration.

To top it off, I suddenly experienced side effects from the retinol I'd been using, leaving my skin barrier completely wrecked. Everything I applied hurt, but not applying anything left my skin feeling painfully tight. I was desperately using only two soothing products when I found this one, and it's truly gentle. At first, I was skeptical about its effectiveness due to its thin consistency for an emulsion. But wow, was I wrong! I closed my eyes, bracing for the usual stinging when applying it, but there was no pain at all. There's a slight cooling effect, not from tea tree or menthol, but more like a comforting pat for sore, inflamed skin - just the right amount to feel good. Those with a strong skin barrier might not notice this aspect. While it's not specifically marketed as a functional product, its absorption speed and soothing effects are surprisingly good. You apply it to your skin, thinking it feels nice and easy to spread, and before you know it, it's gone. When my skin is in bad condition, it usually rejects most products, but this one absorbs completely, leaving only moisture behind. It's rare to find a product that hydrates sensitive skin without irritation, so I'm really impressed.
ConsWhile it's unbeatable for hydration and balancing oil and moisture, it falls short in terms of richness and deep moisturization. This might actually be an advantage for those with oily skin for daily use. Even those with dry skin might find it sufficient in the peak of summer. However, except for the height of summer, those of us with dry skin will likely need to finish with a more moisturizing cream.
TipMy fellow dry-skinned friends, make sure to use a moisturizing cream with this!
