My skin type is extremely dry and sensitive. The first thing I noticed upon application was the hydration and freshness. It doesn't sting at all, which is fantastic! 🌷Hydration It applies with a moisturizing feel and absorbs incredibly well. What I've noticed while using it is that it even tackles deep dryness, which is great as it keeps my skin from feeling parched! I usually experience tightness immediately after using toners without much hydration, but that wasn't the case at all with this one. 🌷Usage & Care The large volume is perfect for toner masking! With the weather being so hot lately, it's ideal for toner masking before makeup application! 🌷Dead Skin Cell Management This is my personal opinion, but I feel like a lot of dead skin cells have disappeared as my skin became more hydrated. My skin feels incredibly soft now, and my makeup applies beautifully without any flaking. 🌷Absorption & Glow It absorbs well immediately upon application, leaving a moisturized feel. However, I didn't notice any particular glow right after applying.
Cons🌷Scent Those sensitive to smells might have mixed feelings about this. It has a sort of herbal scent. I'm not particularly sensitive to smells, so I've been using it without issues.
TipIt's expensive.... That's the biggest drawback.

I apply it after cleansing, let it absorb, and even use it as a skin pack before makeup if my skin feels dry. When I'm out and need to touch up my makeup, I like to wipe my face with toner before reapplying. The generous amount is great for decanting and using liberally without worry. It's perfect for giving your skin a clean boost of hydration. What I love most is that unlike some cosmetics with artificial, perfume-like scents, this has a natural mugwort fragrance that's pleasant even when it touches the skin!
ConsWhile it didn't dramatically clear up blemishes, it was a decent, easy-to-use product.
TipFor those who avoid body emulsion in summer because you dislike the sticky feeling despite having dry skin, try applying this to your body too. The generous amount absorbs quickly, making it great for adding moisture all over.

The gentle ingredients make it comfortable even for super sensitive skin 2. It provides a soothing and cooling effect, great for use when skin feels heated 3. The large volume allows for long-term use 4. The rich mugwort scent upon opening is pleasant 5. Despite its watery texture, it still provides a noticeable hydration -> Especially recommended as a toner for those with redness-prone and sensitive skin to use comfortably in summer
Cons1. The watery texture might mean it runs out quickly despite the large quantity 2. The scent is reminiscent of a common toner fragrance, nothing unique 3. It's decent, but not a particularly distinctive toner
TipWhen it's hot in summer or when you're experiencing redness, soak a cotton pad generously and apply it to both cheeks. You'll feel cooled down in no time

The large volume is great for doing mask packs. Even with my super sensitive skin, I can use it gently without any blemishes. I thought it would smell like mugwort since it's an ingredient, but it actually has a bubblegum scent. The fragrance dissipates quickly once applied and absorbed. When applied to a cotton pad, it has a slight greenish tint. Even after a quick mask pack, my skin feels instantly hydrated.
ConsWhile the scent is a bit disappointing, it fades away quickly so it's not a major drawback.

I have delicate skin that tends to redden even after just cleansing, but since this comes in a large size, I'm able to generously soak my toner pads. I use it as a soothing mask before makeup on my reddened skin, and it works wonders. It seems to both replenish hydration and provide instant calming effects. In the evenings, I've been experimenting with mixing this toner with water for my modeling masks instead of just plain water. I've definitely noticed that using this toner in place of water for modeling masks amplifies both the moisturizing and soothing effects. I think I'll continue using it this way moving forward!
ConsWhile it's excellent as a Hwahae Tester pack, it's quite runny. When using it for a clay mask, it tends to drip everywhere... The floor ends up quite messy!

This product is truly better than I thought or expected! I'll likely repurchase it. I initially thought it might be too light because it looks like a watery toner, but that wasn't the case. Its watery texture makes it great as an exfoliating toner, but it's not so light that it dries out the skin. Instead, it's hydrating and gives a subtle feeling of plumping up the skin! I also love the scent. I thought it might have a strong mugwort smell, but it doesn't - it's quite pleasant. The generous volume is another plus! (Since it's summer, I've also been using it as an exfoliating toner on my body to prevent body acne, and it works great) One morning, I looked in the mirror and thought, 'What's this?' I'm truly very satisfied!
ConsThere's honestly nothing to complain about. It's far better than I expected or imagined!
TipAfter showering, I first used it as an exfoliating toner (as mentioned above, I also used it on my body like an exfoliating toner, and it's great!). Then, after a little while, I applied it again by patting it into my skin, and even just with this, my skin feels satisfyingly hydrated! I didn't need to do anything more than this (usually, other watery toners can leave my skin feeling dry even after this much application). It's really excellent!

(I used it after cleansing in the morning and evening.) The main positive point I found is: First, it's excellent at removing dead skin cells. Beyond just providing hydration, which typically helps with exfoliation, this product seemed to actually eliminate dead skin cells. I'd recommend this to anyone who usually experiences makeup caking or floating due to dead skin cells.
ConsThere are three main drawbacks I noticed: First, it's not exceptional at replenishing moisture. A toner's basic function is to provide hydration. However, with this product, I didn't feel like it was deeply moisturizing my skin. Also, due to poor absorption, it left my skin feeling oily. Second, it can be irritating. For a product aimed at sensitive skin, it caused considerable irritation. Instead of reducing redness, it actually made my skin redder. Unlike typical toners that exfoliate through hydration, this seemed to aggressively remove dead skin cells, which made my skin feel increasingly sensitive with continued use. Third, it's bulky. The toner comes in a very large quantity. As a result, the product itself has some weight and thickness, making it cumbersome to hold. (Also, considering its actual performance and quantity, I don't feel the price is particularly economical, so the large size doesn't seem that beneficial.) Therefore, I wouldn't recommend this to people with sensitive skin, those seeking deep hydration, or those with smaller hands or who dislike heavier products.
TipSince it's excellent at removing dead skin cells, I highly recommend it to those whose main goal is exfoliation.

Refreshing finish: - As the first step in skincare, this toner absorbs well, allowing subsequent essence and cream layers without feeling heavy - great for oily skin - Using with half a cotton pad enhances the perfect level of hydration Generous size: - The large volume is excellent for multiple uses - as a basic toner, for skin packs, or as a finishing touch after modeling masks Subtle mugwort scent: - While it might not be for everyone, I enjoyed the subtle mugwort fragrance that gives a spa-like feel
ConsSoothing effect: - When used alone, it doesn't dramatically calm blemishes or provide an intense soothing effect
TipTry it as a soothing skin pack! - With its generous volume, using it with half a cotton pad allows for an efficient skin pack with minimal product - (After patch testing) Leaving the skin pack on areas needing soothing can help the ingredients absorb better For extra calming, follow up with an aloe pack! - Since toners are lightweight, using this exfoliating toner alone might have subtle effects. I found that applying this toner first, then following with an aloe soothing gel pack, prevented my closed comedones from worsening and helped them settle down

Unlike some toners that can be drying, this one absorbs well, leaving the skin feeling hydrated. It comes in a generous size, which is great. Although I've only used it for a few days and haven't seen dramatic results yet, I did notice a visible reduction in redness the morning after application.
ConsThe bottle is quite large, which can make it a bit cumbersome to use. You need to pour it out, which can be slightly messy and inconvenient.
TipI think it would work well if you pour some onto cotton pads from the dollar store for easier application. For even better results, I found that applying acne medication after completing my skincare routine, including this toner, seemed to accelerate the soothing effect on my skin.

Largest capacity toner I've ever seen: Perfect for soaking cotton pads from Daiso or Coupang. Great for toner masking without holding back. It seems never-ending! 2. Soothing: While I'm not sure about reducing redness, it quickly hydrates and calms the skin. I kept it in the fridge for a cooling toner mask, and it instantly relieved heat on my face. 3. Hydration: When used as a patting toner, it surprisingly quenches the skin fast. Despite its watery texture, it absorbs well without evaporating. 4. Scent: A subtle mix of herbal and delicate floral notes.
ConsThe bottle is too large to comfortably dispense into your hand. It's best to decant this toner for easier use.
TipAs a swimmer, I make toner masks to cool down my skin after swimming. It's incredibly soothing!
