As someone with sensitive combination skin, I'm pleased that this doesn't sting when applied and isn't greasy. Its light, water-like texture absorbs quickly, which is fantastic. For those with dry skin, the hydration might be a bit lacking. You'll probably need to layer it with other products. This seems like it would be great to apply when your skin needs some soothing. - me*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAug 11, 2024
I received a 20ml sample through an event. The texture is very fluid, almost like water. When applied to the skin, it feels like you're putting on water that just sits on the surface. It absorbs slowly, and I couldn't understand why it's called 'Cica Repair' as I didn't see any soothing effects. I used it consistently for several days, but it didn't calm my existing blemishes, reduce redness, or do anything noticeable. I completely understand why this product has such low ratings. Both the texture and functionality are disappointing. There are many alternatives available for both cica and repair products. - yo********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 7, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

First off, I have combination dehydrated skin. Especially in summer, my T-zone tends to get quite oily. I occasionally get a few blemishes, more often cystic acne rather than small bumps. I also have quite a bit of acne scarring. Redness: Since I don't typically have severe redness, I didn't notice any dramatic effects. However, I did feel that my skin became somewhat calmer and more settled. Volume: This product comes in a very generous size. It's such a large amount that even when you use a lot each time, it doesn't seem to diminish quickly. Texture: It has a very watery consistency. When applied to the face, it flows easily. Scent: While not artificial, it has a rather strong mugwort scent. Those sensitive to fragrances might want to be cautious. I didn't notice any remarkable improvements or extraordinary effects on my skin. It didn't make my skin worse, but it just felt average. The texture is so runny that it's inconvenient for face masking. I usually like to do face masks, but this one drips down my arms, so I've been using it more as a pat-on toner instead of a mask. - vx****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresJun 7, 2024
I loved how it left my skin feeling fresh and effectively calmed redness The hydration could be better, and despite the large 500ml size, it's quite pricey It has less of that typical cica scent and makes for a great toner to use in summer - rl*********Normal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 5, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It's truly a beast-sized bottle that doesn't seem to run out even with generous use! The scent might be hit or miss for some. Compared to other brands' mugwort moisturizers, this Cica Mugwort Repair Toner has a more rugged, wild mugwort aroma. But as a fan of herbal scents, I absolutely love it! While I don't have any blemishes right now to test its soothing effects, it's great for light hydration during the summer weather. After using it consistently for about two weeks, I haven't found any downsides yet. - tr*********Dry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 3, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

My skin type is extremely dry and sensitive. The first thing I noticed upon application was the hydration and freshness. It doesn't sting at all, which is fantastic! 🌷Hydration It applies with a moisturizing feel and absorbs incredibly well. What I've noticed while using it is that it even tackles deep dryness, which is great as it keeps my skin from feeling parched! I usually experience tightness immediately after using toners without much hydration, but that wasn't the case at all with this one. 🌷Usage & Care The large volume is perfect for toner masking! With the weather being so hot lately, it's ideal for toner masking before makeup application! 🌷Dead Skin Cell Management This is my personal opinion, but I feel like a lot of dead skin cells have disappeared as my skin became more hydrated. My skin feels incredibly soft now, and my makeup applies beautifully without any flaking. 🌷Absorption & Glow It absorbs well immediately upon application, leaving a moisturized feel. However, I didn't notice any particular glow right after applying. 🌷Scent Those sensitive to smells might have mixed feelings about this. It has a sort of herbal scent. I'm not particularly sensitive to smells, so I've been using it without issues. It's expensive.... That's the biggest drawback. - yo*********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 3, 2024
My skin is extremely dry year-round, so I always prioritize finding products that effectively combat deep dryness and can be layered without feeling heavy. I think I've finally found my go-to toner with this one! I wish the container had a pump dispenser to prevent spills. Given its watery consistency, it tends to run a bit when dispensing. - ix******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 1, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

As someone with blemish-prone and combination dehydrated skin, my face easily turns red and becomes super sensitive with even the slightest irritation. However, this toner's cica and mugwort combination allowed for a gentle and clean application. The generous amount is fantastic - you can even use it as a toner mask when your skin feels irritated! Unlike other regular toners that didn't seem to soothe my skin, this one calms it down effectively. No blemishes appeared, and I think I'll be able to use it consistently as my daily toner. There's really nothing bad to say, except maybe that the bottle cap is slightly large, making it a bit heavy. I think using this with organic cotton pads would be great for application without causing any skin irritation. - in*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 1, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I have combination dehydrated skin with an oily T-zone, while my U-zone is gradually becoming more balanced. Personally, I don't usually have high expectations for toners. As someone with oily skin, I mainly look for a toner that can refresh and hydrate my skin before applying other products, or one that I can use with a cotton pad for gentle exfoliation without irritation. However, this product pleasantly surprised me! The texture feels quite nourishing without being too heavy. I appreciate that it doesn't contain alcohol, so it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry after exfoliating. It leaves my skin comfortably hydrated without feeling unpleasant, though I'm curious to see how it performs for very oily skin types or during the peak of summer. I really enjoy the scent - it's refreshing with a hint of sweetness. It's subtle and only noticeable for a brief moment when first applied, which I find delightful! For reference, my skin is currently dealing with folliculitis and hormonal blemishes, but this toner hasn't been irritating or caused any additional breakouts. I've been able to use it generously without any concerns. There's absolutely no stinging or discomfort during application! With its pleasant finish and good hydration, I think I'll be using this for a while. I definitely recommend giving it a try! As mentioned in the main review, the finish isn't particularly lightweight, so I wouldn't recommend this to those with very oily skin or those looking for a more refreshing feel after exfoliating. There might be better options for those needs! If you're worried about using up a large bottle of toner before it expires, try mixing it with your modeling mask instead of water. It seems to enhance the soothing effects and makes the mask feel more hydrating! - os*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 1, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Even with frequent use, it lasts a long time. 3. It gives a soothing sensation. 4. I feel like my skin texture has improved - my pores and uneven areas seem to have diminished a bit! I have blemish-prone, sensitive skin, and oddly enough, I started getting a lot of acne so I had to stop using it. I think it's best not to use it too frequently! While it didn't completely agree with my skin, I still found it pleasant overall. It gives a comfortable feeling on the face. Although I was happy to win it, I think those with very sensitive skin should use it in moderation.
