I apply it after cleansing, let it absorb, and even use it as a skin pack before makeup if my skin feels dry. When I'm out and need to touch up my makeup, I like to wipe my face with toner before reapplying. The generous amount is great for decanting and using liberally without worry. It's perfect for giving your skin a clean boost of hydration. What I love most is that unlike some cosmetics with artificial, perfume-like scents, this has a natural mugwort fragrance that's pleasant even when it touches the skin!
ConsWhile it didn't dramatically clear up blemishes, it was a decent, easy-to-use product.
TipFor those who avoid body emulsion in summer because you dislike the sticky feeling despite having dry skin, try applying this to your body too. The generous amount absorbs quickly, making it great for adding moisture all over.

I've never used toners with such a distinct herbal scent before. It's not overpowering though, and I've grown to find it quite therapeutic with continued use. Size: It's huge! The price reflects that, so keep an eye out for coupons or use your points for a better deal. Texture: A clear, slightly pale green liquid with the consistency of a typical toner - no stickiness at all. Application: As someone with combination dehydrated skin, this is where it really shines. I used the 1-2 layer method and wow, it's incredibly hydrating without any greasy residue or stickiness. It feels like pure moisture replenishment. Redness reduction: The effects are subtle. It's not a dramatic change, but I've noticed my redness appears less patchy when applying makeup. It's a gentle improvement.
ConsI'm not sure if it's related, but I noticed a couple of small white blemishes appearing near my mouth. I'll pause using it for a bit to see if there's any change and update my review accordingly.
TipIf you have oily skin, just two or three layers of this toner should provide refreshing hydration!

I usually prefer watery toners, and while this one has a slight viscosity, it still feels refreshingly hydrating like water on my skin. 2. The scent might be divisive, but as someone who enjoys herbal fragrances, it's right up my alley. 3. I love applying toner generously, so the generous volume is a big plus. 4. Given my sensitive complexion, harsh products often cause blemishes. However, this toner not only calms redness but also seems to cool down my skin. This is especially beneficial for me as I often work outdoors in hot weather, which tends to heat up my skin.
ConsThe price point is a bit on the higher side, and the fragrance might not appeal to everyone.
TipFor summer skin that feels overheated, try using this as a toner mask - it's great for bringing down skin temperature!

While this might be a matter of personal preference, as someone who enjoys light and fresh scents, I found it to be a significant plus. # Absorption This is a very watery toner, not the viscous type. It's easy to apply without feeling heavy and absorbs well into the skin. # Soothing effect As this product is designed for calming the skin, its effectiveness in this area is outstanding. I've noticed a significant reduction in redness on my T-zone. I think it could also be used as a mask by soaking cotton pads, which would be perfect for the upcoming hot summer. # Quantity At 500ml, it's a generous amount. You can apply it liberally without worrying about running out too quickly.
ConsI don't have any complaints. As someone with oily skin, this product worked exceptionally well for me. I think it would also be suitable for those with dry skin to use in the early stages of their skincare routine.
TipWhen I need to carry it around, I decant some into an empty mist bottle. It's incredibly convenient to use as a spray.

It has a genuinely healthy scent! It's hard to describe... The fragrance might be divisive, but I'm definitely in the 'like' camp. It's a truly natural, healthy scent - not artificial at all, more like fresh herbs... perhaps cica or mugwort. It just gives you that feeling of using a high-quality product. 2. Soothing effect To be honest, I don't usually think toners do much beyond providing hydration. However, after using this for two weeks, I can confidently say it has a real calming effect. During this time, this was the only change in my skincare routine, and I noticed my redness and blemishes clearing up faster! So this toner must be the secret weapon. 3. Large size Whether expensive or cheap, a toner should come in a generous size to make it feel worth using. When I received this, my first thought was, 'Wow, I'll be using this for ages!' The packaging quality is great too, especially the sturdy cap.
ConsWell... after loving it so much, I looked up the price and it's a bit on the higher side. I understand that the quality justifies the cost, but it's still quite pricey for a toner.
TipAs you probably know, occasionally soaking cotton pads with toner and applying them as a mask works wonders for reviving skin tired from the hot weather!

The texture is neither sticky nor thick, but flows like water. It feels just right for the warming weather these days. The packaging is super cute too, with its vibrant green color and adorable drawings of a bear and tiger that come to mind when thinking of mugwort. I expected a strong mugwort scent, but it's surprisingly subtle. Even those who dislike strong fragrances or aren't fans of mugwort can use this without hesitation. I'm a big fan!
ConsI didn't find any major drawbacks. The only slight inconvenience is that due to its large size, it's not ideal for travel. You'd need to transfer some into a smaller container for trips.
TipSince it has a water-like consistency, it would be great to use as a toner pack by soaking cotton pads generously. If you want to do a mask but hate the stickiness during summer, this could be a perfect lightweight option for masking!

The combination of cica and mugwort seems like a perfect match. Instead of an artificial cosmetic scent, it has a deep, earthy mugwort fragrance! Being a truly generous 500ml bottle, you can use it liberally without holding back. I absolutely recommend saturating a cotton pad and using it as a skin pack. Redness Improvement: While using it, my redness quickly subsided. These days, it seems like the redness has disappeared completely! No wonder it's called the 'red mugwort toner' - I can attest to that. Soothing and Hydration: Thanks to its quick action on redness, I'm also satisfied with its soothing effect on sensitivity and irritation. It provides deep soothing and intense hydration. With a finish that's moisturizing yet non-sticky, you can truly feel the calming effect on your skin. It feels more hydrating than moisturizing. Sebum Reduction: I'm prone to blemishes, but since using this, I haven't had any breakouts. I couldn't even do a before-and-after comparison... I've never had a toner that works this quickly! The non-drying hydration is especially good when left on areas with excess sebum like a skin pack. Gentle Formula: It's not just gentle, it's SUPER gentle. If you have acne-prone skin or super sensitive skin, you'll surely be satisfied when you try it. Personally, it suits my skin's soothing and barrier care needs so well that it's become my daily toner! I'm so grateful to have tried this through The Hwahae Testers experience.
ConsIt has a watery consistency, so if you pour it directly into your palm, it tends to run off quickly.

Now that summer's here, I prefer something that's clean and hydrating rather than heavy. As someone with sensitive dry skin that doesn't mesh well with slippery hyaluronic acid textures, I was pleased this didn't have that issue. I also appreciated the lack of artificial fragrance! It's perfect for soaking thin cotton pads for a quick skin pack. Leaving a soaked pad on for about 5 minutes before makeup would be great for boosting hydration. The large volume is a plus - it's reassuring to have one of these on hand for long-term use. The light, airy texture seems ideal for the warmer seasons ahead.
ConsI was a bit disappointed that it didn't seem to help calm my blemishes. Being on the drier side, I felt it lacked a bit in hydration for my skin type. While the ingredients seem gentle, I wonder if it's just not quite enough for my extremely dry skin. I think it would be perfect as a light first step in skincare for those with combination to oily skin types.
TipAs I mentioned in the positives, this is ideal for skin packs. I love keeping it in the fridge for a cooling effect. Now that it's getting warmer, it should really help in reducing skin temperature before applying makeup. For those with super sensitive skin like mine, I highly recommend using this for skin packs rather than as a toner to wipe off.

A generous size! I was prepared for 500ml, but comparing it to other toners I've been using, it's noticeably larger. Still, I think it's in a reasonably compact bottle for its volume. The scent is like a deep green aroma - reminiscent of matcha or mugwort, but not overpowering. It's more like a rich forest scent, which I personally love! The texture is like water, so you can layer it multiple times, use it as an exfoliating toner, pat it in, or apply it over other products - all with a lightweight finish.
ConsNothing specific, but since it's been a while since I've used a watery toner like this, I keep misjudging the amount and end up soothing the floor too!
TipCompared to my previous toner which was slightly creamy, this one has a much more water-like consistency. You can dispense the right amount just by tilting the bottle, so for facial use, that's all you need to do. Given its large volume and watery texture, it's great for soaking cotton pads to use as a face mask or gently applying to blemishes on arms and legs for a soothing, hydrating effect. It seems perfect for calming the skin in summer or adding moisture in winter. The pump dispenses the product easily, so you could even make a mini-pack kit with cotton pads in a small container!

First off, I loved that the scent wasn't artificial. As someone who enjoys the aroma of mugwort, I was personally satisfied with the fragrance right away. 2. I have combination dehydrated skin and I'm dealing with stress from adult acne, so I'm quite particular about the oil content in my skincare products. I prefer products with minimal oiliness. This product is incredibly lightweight - it has a similar consistency to the Dok*or toner, basically like water. I especially appreciated this because it gives a hydrating feel, allowing for layering, and can even be used as a mist if you transfer it to a spray bottle. With summer approaching, it seems perfect as a soothing mist. 3. Despite being advertised as a large size, it's truly enormous... The quantity is impressive. I don't typically use exfoliating toners, so I just apply it with my hands, but having such a generous amount makes me feel at ease. You could even use it as a mask by soaking cotton pads. The volume is really substantial. 4. While it's unrealistic to expect significant cooling effects from a toner, if you store it in the fridge and apply it right after cleansing, it's heavenly. It dramatically reduces skin heat, so I highly recommend it. The scent also helps calm the mind and body.
ConsOne downside is that it's not completely free of irritation. Perhaps because I'm used to very gentle products, I feel a slight stinging in my eyes and a bit of skin irritation. I'll need to use it more to determine if this becomes a real issue.
