Cons• Didn't notice any significant effects • If I had to nitpick: The amount might feel a bit small

Advantages - Removes makeup quickly with just a small amount - Easily rinses off with water (quick water cleanse possible in a rush, though not recommended) - Doesn't sting if it gets in your eyes - Non-irritating - Hygienic with an inner lid for the spoon
Cons2. Drawbacks - Minimal emulsification (doesn't soften sebum well) - Can feel drying after water cleanse for combination dehydrated skin (late 20s) - May clog pores (slightly more blemishes compared to not using it / resolved with double cleansing) - Requires a bit of rubbing for mascara removal
Tip3. Usage: For makeup removal / Not effective for sebum softening 4. Characteristics 1) Scent: Fragrance-free 2) Texture/Application: - Sherbet-like - Melts quickly with body heat (compared to other balms) - Unlike other balms that remain slightly thick when melted, this product liquefies like a true cleansing oil - Cleansing effectiveness: Removes makeup very quickly and effectively (compared to other balms) - Emulsification: Poor (almost non-existent) - Water rinse: Effective (leaves skin feeling slightly squeaky clean) - Post-use feeling without additional products: Slightly dry for combination dehydrated skin 5. Personal opinion This product seems to focus on its primary function as a cleanser. Its effectiveness in quickly removing even long-wearing makeup proves its quality. I've tried various cleansing products, and I currently use April Skin's balm, but I appreciated how much faster this one cleansed. However, mascara required a bit more effort to remove, (I don't use separate lip and eye makeup remover) and I'm unsure if it would effectively remove notoriously stubborn products like Kiss Me mascara. The downsides are its inability to soften sebum and the occurrence of blemishes without double cleansing. Emulsification doesn't help much either. Given that it's not particularly generous in quantity for its price, I can't strongly recommend it, but its cleansing speed is unmatched among products I've tried so far. I'd recommend this to those who wear heavy makeup and use lip and eye makeup remover, or anyone looking for a fast-acting cleansing balm. ===== Personal Information ===== < Skin Type > - Combination dehydrated, sensitive - Skin isn't very thin, but on the thinner side - Prone to blackheads/whiteheads and blemishes - Pores widening with age, fine lines developing < Basic Skincare Routine > 1. It removes makeup effectively, even eye makeup without needing a separate remover. What's most impressive is that there's absolutely no eye irritation. It's fine to use with contact lenses, and even though I always apply eyeliner on my waterline, it doesn't sting when I remove it with my eyes open. This was the best feature for me. After cleansing, my skin texture really improves. I intentionally didn't apply anything after washing, and my skin didn't feel dry. It's great that it also helps with pore care. Of course, pore improvements take time, but since it's good for texture care, I think continued use will show results. Being a balm type, it seems ideal for combination and dry skin. It also dissolves sebum well and cares for pores, so it might be suitable for oily skin too, as long as it's not severe acne-prone skin.
ConsOverall, during the process of rolling and emulsifying with water, I felt it kept clumping if done repeatedly. So it's better to cleanse right away without over-emulsifying. Also, I found that a more thorough cleanse yielded better results. I noticed it seemed to rinse off more effectively with water that's a bit warmer than lukewarm.
TipIt's good to use a sponge to wipe off the product after emulsifying a few times, then proceed with cleansing.

It's definitely more convenient not having to emulsify! *No eye irritation Unlike oils that can be uncomfortable if they get in your eyes, or other creams that sting and prevent eye cleansing, this product doesn't irritate even when rubbing the eyes. *No dryness after cleansing Even after double cleansing with this cream followed by a foam cleanser, I didn't feel any dryness or oiliness. *No blemishes!!! I have super sensitive skin that can react badly to the wrong cleansing products, but I didn't experience any issues with this one. *Product packaging Often with these types of creams, there's nowhere to keep the spatula, so you end up using your hands. But this spatula clicks right into the case! I love that it's hygienic and easy to store. *Almost fragrance-free As someone sensitive to scents, I really appreciated that this product is nearly unscented.
Cons*Requires double cleansing While it removes base makeup well, it doesn't completely remove mascara or lip products. You'll need to follow up with a cleansing foam or lip and eye remover. Rubbing too hard to remove makeup might irritate the skin, so that's not recommended. *Clumps don't dissolve easily The texture is somewhat waxy, and while it melts and dissolves when rubbed, small undissolved clumps can fall off as you massage it in with your hands. You need to be gentle and thorough when working it into the skin.
TipFor best results, use a lip and eye remover first, then follow with this cream. Alternatively, use the cream and then follow up with a cleansing foam for a thorough cleanse! A little goes a long way - it melts into quite a lot of product. Start with small amounts and adjust as needed when you first use it.

I was worried it might be stiff, but as soon as it touches your skin, it transforms into an oil-like texture, allowing for a smooth, gentle massage. The gentle ingredients didn't cause any eye irritation, and it removed makeup effectively! The moisturizing finish makes it perfect for fall and winter use.
ConsThere's a spatula between the lids, which can be a bit cumbersome to open and take out. If it melts even slightly, it gets messy when you try to put the spatula back and close the lid. For someone like me who prefers a squeaky-clean finish, I still needed to follow up with a foam cleanser.
TipSince it transforms immediately upon contact with skin, I used the spatula to scoop it out and place it directly on my face. Then I closed the lid before massaging it in with the warmth of my hands. This method prevented the balm from sticking to the lid, which was great!

This product is so gentle that it doesn't hurt even if it gets in your eyes a bit, making it great for removing eye makeup. (Of course, I used a separate lip and eye cleanser for mascara first. Otherwise, you'd lose all your lashes!) I don't have double eyelids, so I don't line my waterline, but for those who do, this product shouldn't cause any eye irritation when removing makeup. Lately, I've been using cleansing balms a lot to remove makeup, and compared to other products, this one is gentler and seems good for managing sebum too. The color is soft and ethereal - I thought they might have added artificial colorants, but it turns out it's from natural sources. What I personally found satisfying was the sturdy lid. You know how some balms have those spoon-like scoops? This one has a robust lid that doesn't fall off easily, which is great because twist-off lids can be a bit inconvenient. Another advantage of cleansing balms is that they don't leave your skin feeling dry after removing makeup! Of course, I still use a cleansing foam afterwards just to be safe... They say double cleansing isn't necessary, but I feel uneasy otherwise... In conclusion, it removes makeup really well!
ConsThere aren't really any downsides. It's not so much a flaw of this product, but like all cleansing balms, it does run out quickly... Compared to cleansing oils, it might not be as cost-effective, but it's so much more convenient to use!

Even the most stubborn makeup disappears in an instant. There's absolutely no eye irritation. Usually, when using oils or balms, the emulsification process can make your eyes cloudy and stinging, but there's none of that here. It's also great for managing blackheads and sebum!
ConsDownsides...? There really aren't any... Are there...? Using a spatula to scoop it out is common for all cleansing balms, so I don't find it particularly inconvenient.
TipOne scoop with the included spatula seems to be just the right amount. I just keep the spatula in the tub like this, making sure the handle doesn't touch the product.

Even a small amount is effective. Usage order - Applied on bare face in the morning: Not irritating. After makeup: Removed makeup well without causing tightness. Review - No eye irritation or stinging, which indicates it's a gentle product. I have some areas with blackheads and enlarged pores, and it felt like it was removing impurities. It doesn't completely whiten blackheads, though. Personally, I find it slightly less effective than oil cleansers. Long-term use might yield better results. However, it removes makeup well, and most importantly, leaves no dryness or tightness after use. The fact that it doesn't irritate the eyes is a huge plus.
ConsWhile I appreciated the included spoon for scooping out the product, I wondered if it could be attached to the bottom of the container instead of being placed on top of the inner lid after use. The price is a bit on the high side, which is unfortunate.

While using it, I could really feel how gentle it is. Surprisingly, when some got into my eyes while massaging, it didn't sting at all! I was completely amazed. Usually, these cleansing products irritate the eyes, but this one doesn't at all. It's fantastic! It melts easily with body temperature, making it super easy to use.
ConsThere wasn't anything particularly disappointing! Perhaps because it's so gentle, it doesn't seem to remove blackheads very effectively after use.
TipAs you all probably know, you should use this with completely dry hands and face. Here's my personal tip: don't use it right after coming in from outside without washing your hands properly. That can cause blemishes on your face. Make sure to wash your hands thoroughly, dry them with a towel, and then cleanse with the balm!

It's great at cleansing even heavy makeup like mascara, doesn't irritate my eyes, and isn't harsh on the skin at all. I'm really satisfied. I also love that it's fragrance-free. It seems effective at removing excess sebum too. The product performance is absolutely fantastic!
ConsThe price is a bit on the higher side, which is slightly disappointing.
TipBalm or oil-type cleansers are most effective during the emulsification process and are definitely great for removing sebum! Make sure to massage thoroughly without water first, then again after adding water!
