What I loved about this product: 1. The Hiicle Gel Cleanser contains BHA (a high concentration of 5000PPM) which helps remove sebum, dead skin cells, and impurities from pores. It lived up to my expectations, providing an easy and thorough cleansing experience that felt truly special. 2. I had a few blemishes from cosmetic reactions, but thanks to the soothing effects of tea tree oil and its 4-terpineol component, my skin felt refreshed and smooth. 3. Although I don't have acne-prone skin, the gentle yet effective cleansing action made testing this product a pleasant and worry-free experience. I even felt grateful for it! 4. As a dermatologically tested product, it's reassuring that even those with sensitive skin can use it without concern. 5. I was initially worried that an acne-focused product might dry out my skin, but the moisturizing finish allowed me to use it daily with enjoyment. 6. From its thorough sebum cleansing and enzyme exfoliation to its gentle feel and hydrating finish, using this product always left me feeling refreshed and in a good mood. 7. I tested this with family members who have different skin types. Even my family member with large pores and whiteheads (oily skin) felt it cleansed thoroughly and actually took it for themselves! 8. The hydration comes from the hydrophilic moisturizing ingredient glycerin, utilizing an oil-targeting system that provides deep hydration. This allows for sebum-targeted cleansing without any feeling of tightness, which left a strong impression on me. My initial concerns about it being an acne product quickly turned into satisfaction, making it great for the whole family. 9. Even an extremely dry-skinned family member tested it and was amazed, asking if it was a product for dry skin. When I explained it wasn't, they were shocked such a product existed. It's a remarkable product that I'd love to gift to those with acne-prone and sensitive skin. 10. The texture is full of moisture! It creates rich, fine bubbles like an enzyme cleanser, making it comfortable to use without irritation. Despite its strong cleansing power, it leaves skin feeling moisturized without any tightness. It's perfect! I highly recommend this product to anyone concerned about dead skin cells or excess sebum. Areas for improvement: There's nothing I found disappointing this time. I'm grateful they've made it suitable even for sensitive skin. My personal tips: 1. Lathering up and cleansing with foam is much gentler on the skin. Be sure to work up a rich lather in your hands and cleanse with the foam to really feel the moisturizing finish. 2. Be careful not to let water get inside the container. 3. Always make sure to close the cap after use. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 4, 2025
Used from May 21 to June 4 Skin type: Dry ⭐️Experience This works well as a second-step cleanser. It's a gel cleanser that lathers nicely, making it easy to use. I love that it contains exfoliating ingredients to help remove dead skin cells. It's great at removing excess oil, so it might be good for acne-prone skin too. You might think gel cleansers aren't very effective, but this one removes all residue cleanly. I heard from a YouTube video that BHA cleansers are good for blemish-prone skin. Unlike AHA, BHA is oil-soluble, so it can penetrate deep into the pores to clean out stubborn dead skin cells, impurities, and excess sebum. It's nice to be able to care for troubled skin daily during the cleansing step. Throughout my use, I didn't experience any new blemishes because of this cleansing foam. Since it contains exfoliating ingredients, it might be challenging for those with super sensitive skin. However, since cleansing foam is only used briefly during face washing, it might be okay. It's best to test it out and discontinue use if you experience any irritation. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinJun 4, 2025
I really enjoyed using this cleansing gel as it was less irritating compared to the cleansing foams I frequently used before. The BHA ingredient was great for managing sebum and dead skin cells, so I used it with satisfaction! While it produces less foam than cleansing foams, its rich, dense lather was excellent for cleansing. My previous cleansing foam left my skin feeling a bit dry, but this cleansing gel caused less dryness and left my skin feeling smooth and silky. The foam isn't very abundant, so it seems better suited as a second-step cleanser. Since it contains BHA, I recommend using it every 2-3 days. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 4, 2025
I received the Hicle BHA Deep Pore Gel Cleanser as part of The Hwahae Testers program, and it's fantastic for managing pores and sebum! It's especially useful in summer when pores and oiliness become a concern. This cleanser uses a sebum-targeting system that effectively manages pores from the get-go. The BHA in the sebum-targeting system removes excess oil, while glycerin, a moisturizing ingredient, provides hydration. This system works to dissolve sebum and dead skin cells deep within the pores. The product contains an impressive 5000ppm of BHA, making it great for managing oiliness, sebum, and dead skin cells! The gel formula is lightweight with minimal stickiness. Unlike other exfoliating products that often leave skin feeling dry, this one doesn't cause any tightness and keeps the skin hydrated. It's also gentle, making it suitable for those with sensitive skin. With consistent use, you'll notice a reduction in blackheads and whiteheads, and an improvement in skin texture. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to manage their pores and sebum! One drawback is that on days when you wear color makeup or a full face, you'll need to follow up with a second cleanse after using this product. The cleansing effectiveness was slightly disappointing in this regard. Overall, I suggest using gentle circular motions when applying. For areas where you're particularly concerned about sebum or dead skin cells, like around the nose, use your fingertips to massage more thoroughly for better results! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 4, 2025
Review of Hycl BHA Deep Pore Gel Cleanser I have dry combination + super sensitive + acne-prone skin, so I was looking for a gentle cleanser, and this one was just right. Thanks to the salicylic acid (BHA), it effectively clears out pores and removes dead skin cells. I was satisfied that even after cleansing, my skin feels moisturized without any deep dryness. The texture is smooth, and the scent is subtle. Even though my skin leans more towards dry than oily, I didn't experience any tightness. While the lather is minimal, which is a bit disappointing, it's gentle enough for daily use even on sensitive skin, which I appreciate. It cleanses blemish-prone areas gently without irritation. I've been using it morning and night as my second cleanser, and I've noticed my makeup applies better and my skin texture feels smoother. Overall Assessment: - Gentle on sensitive and acne-prone skin, effective for pore care - Recommended as a daily cleanser. Would repurchase. Summary: "A gentle gel cleanser that deeply cleanses pores without irritation - perfect for daily use" The downside is that it's difficult to remove heavy makeup in one go. However, since I usually use an oil cleanser first and this as a second cleanse, it works perfectly fine for me. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 4, 2025
I've been using this product every evening for my cleansing routine lately, and I'm absolutely thrilled with the results! My skin feels so much softer, and I've noticed fewer blemishes popping up. The gel formula is gentle yet effective, managing dead skin cells and sebum without any irritation. Its cleansing power is impressive too - even after my first cleanse, it leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean with no residue. The fragrance is so subtle it's practically unscented, making it perfect for those sensitive to artificial fragrances. After use, my skin feels hydrated rather than dry, which makes me think it would be great for sensitive or acne-prone skin. I especially love how the fine foam seems to deep-clean my pores, effectively tackling blackheads around my nose and leaving no foam residue behind. What's really impressed me is how, with continued use, I've noticed a significant reduction in dead skin cells and a smoother overall complexion. The ingredients are so gentle that I feel comfortable using it daily without any worries about irritation. I'm definitely considering repurchasing! I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone dealing with acne, sensitive skin, or general blemish concerns. • It may not be strong enough as a first cleanser, working better as a second step in a double cleansing routine. • The foam isn't very rich, which might leave you feeling like you're not getting a thorough cleanse. • I didn't notice any reduction in acne or improvement in oil control, and in some cases, it even seemed to cause blemishes. • Those with dry skin might experience some tightness after washing. • The finish is more slick than squeaky clean, which might not be everyone's cup of tea. For better exfoliation and pore care, try applying a small amount to dry skin instead of wet, gently massaging in circular motions. - Hwahae UserOily SkinJun 4, 2025

As a woman in her 30s with combination skin, I've always been a bit concerned about sebum in my T-zone. I decided to test this product and use it for two weeks, and I'm excited to share the changes I've noticed in my skin. 1. Cleansing Effectiveness This product contains a high concentration of 5,000ppm BHA, which worked wonders for removing excess oil and dead skin cells! I saw a significant improvement in the stubborn blackheads in my T-zone. It's particularly great for use during summer when sebum production tends to go into overdrive. 2. Texture and Feel After cleansing, my skin didn't feel tight at all. Instead, it felt incredibly smooth and hydrated, leaving a lovely finish. My face stayed matte for hours, making this perfect for daily use. It glides on gently without irritation, effectively removing impurities without unnecessary friction. With a pH of 5.5, this mildly acidic product is gentle enough for both morning and evening use without any worries. If you're on the hunt for a non-irritating cleanser that tackles blemishes, I highly recommend giving this product a try! Since it's a daily cleanser, it might struggle to remove heavy eye makeup on its own. I'd suggest using it for light makeup removal or as part of a double cleansing routine. It's especially fantastic as a daily cleanser during the hot summer months! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 3, 2025
Perfect for combination dehydrated skin's morning cleanse I'm not usually a fan of gel cleansers, but I was so curious about this one with BHA that I had to try it! The tea tree ingredient also seemed promising After using it, I found it's amazing for morning cleansing It effectively removes overnight oil buildup without irritation and manages sebum well Doesn't cause tightness This is truly remarkable While the ingredients and effects control sebum well, it doesn't leave skin feeling tight, making for a great user experience Other alkaline foams definitely make my skin feel tight This one doesn't dry out the skin, perfect for 30s and 40s with combination dehydrated skin!! Gently cleanses mature combination dehydrated skin without irritation Easy to rinse The foam rinses off easily, reducing cleansing time As someone with sensitive skin, shorter cleansing time seems to reduce redness No blemishes I usually break out the next day if I don't cleanse properly but I've had no blemishes while using this It cleanses oil well without drying, greatly improving skin dryness and making me feel like my oil and moisture balance is just right Beautiful packaging The clear container makes it easy to see how much is left It looks nice in the bathroom and doesn't clash with the decor As someone with an oily T-zone and lots of blackheads, I found it's not sufficient for removing makeup Good for morning use though When cleansing, don't just roll in one direction Make sure to go both clockwise and counterclockwise This helps clean between facial hair thoroughly! Proper cleansing is especially important for those with oily skin - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 2, 2025
1. Gentle on the skin This product is definitely gentle. Being a gel type, the lather isn't harsh, and after cleansing, my skin doesn't feel tight but stays moisturized. It's particularly great for those with super sensitive skin or deep dryness issues. 2. Blemish improvement I've always struggled with small bumps, but after using this product, I've noticed a significant improvement. I'm especially pleased with how it's calmed the tiny blemishes around my chin area. 3. Balances oil and dead skin cells With its salicylic acid (BHA) content, using it every few days has noticeably reduced oil in my T-zone and nose area. It also seems to naturally exfoliate dead skin cells. My skin feels smoother to the touch, which I love. 4. Fragrance-free As someone sensitive to scents, I often struggle when choosing cosmetics. This product is practically fragrance-free, allowing for stress-free use. I highly recommend it to those who are particular about fragrances in their cleansing routine. 5. Packaging Unlike my previous product with an opaque container, this one comes in a transparent bottle. I really appreciate being able to see exactly how much product is left. 1. Cleansing effectiveness Despite being a deep pore cleanser, it doesn't give the sensation of powerfully removing blackheads or deep-seated impurities. Those who prefer a squeaky-clean feeling or are looking for a product with strong cleansing power might find its effectiveness a bit lacking. 2. Amount control As a first-time user of gel-type products, I initially struggled to gauge how much to use. The lather isn't very rich, which led me to use more product. Consequently, it seems to run out faster than expected given its volume. 1. Second-step cleanser Using this product as a second-step cleanser after a more powerful first cleanse works great. It reduces irritation while still leaving skin feeling fresh. This combination is particularly beneficial for those with super sensitive skin. 2. Gel-type usage For gel-type cleansers, it's best to work up a good lather in your palms before applying to your face. Focusing on the T-zone and U-zone areas during cleansing can be particularly effective for oil control and blemish prevention.
