It's wonderfully hydrating and really replenishes moisture. Great for balancing oil and moisture levels in the skin. Nothing particularly negative to mention. If anything, it's just a tad on the pricey side. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinMay 29, 2025
The tube packaging is hygienic and makes it easy to control the amount. The texture is pleasantly thick, smooth, and applies effortlessly. It absorbs well, leaving your skin feeling hydrated. It doesn't cause deep dryness, so I recommend it for combination dehydrated skin! It didn't cause any blemishes, but it might be a bit light for the coldest winter months. It's perfect as a final moisturizer in your skincare routine. It contains skin-regenerating ingredients like cica and panthenol. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 18, 2025
I've been using it because it's said to be moisturizing and helpful for skin barrier recovery. I'm satisfied with it. There doesn't seem to be any downsides. The fact that it's in a tube makes it difficult to check the remaining amount? - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinMay 12, 2025
Pros: 1. It has a cooling effect. 2. It doesn't leave a thick or heavy residue on the skin, but keeps it moisturized. 3. Fragrance-free. You can use it without worry in public spaces since it has no scent. 4. It's non-irritating, so it doesn't cause any blemishes. *I was lucky enough to try this product through a tester event, and I'm so satisfied that I plan to purchase other COSRX products to use alongside it. Cons: None - It worked perfectly for my dry skin, but if you have oily skin, I recommend trying a sample before purchasing! To prevent pilling, I apply a thin layer and let it absorb twice (for dry skin) -> sunscreen -> cushion compact. This method resulted in no pilling and gave me a beautiful glow that I really liked. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 10, 2025
The product has a high moisture content and a smooth texture that applies easily. It adheres well to the skin. I was fortunate to be selected as a Hwahae Tester and had the opportunity to try COSRX's The Ceramide Skin Barrier Moisture product. Packaging: The product information and usage instructions are clearly displayed, making it easy to understand at a glance. Given its tube format, which can lead to overuse, the 80ml size is just right - neither too little nor too much. Texture: It's a clear, white, slightly sticky gel, similar to typical moisturizers. When applying, spread it widely on your palms first, then use your fingertips to apply. This method allows for a thinner, more even application compared to applying directly to the face. Unlike some barrier creams or regenerating creams on the market that can feel heavy or challenging for combination skin, this one is easy to apply and has a noticeable hydrating effect, which I appreciated. Scent: It's fragrance-free, without even a hint of ingredient smell. While it might be too rich for daily use, it seems suitable for all skin types, especially for soothing irritated or dry skin. After experiencing inflammation from cosmetics, I developed an allergy. Although I've received treatment, my skin remains very sensitive. I'm consistently using soothing care products and taking medication from my dermatologist. While I no longer get acne-like blemishes, I still experience redness if a product doesn't suit me or irritates my skin. It's more of a problematic skin condition than just sensitivity. My skin suddenly worsened, and I couldn't find a suitable moisturizer. I had high hopes when trying the COSRX moisturizer. However, I had to stop using it after less than a week. It feels quite oily. The hydration is disappointing. It causes itchy blemishes. Perhaps due to its barrier care properties, it leaves an oily feeling rather than a hydrated one. Initially, the gel texture feels hydrating, but it finishes with a greasy residue. Thinking it was for skin protection, I continued applying it regularly. Using it alone led to deep dryness, so I added a serum, but the dryness persisted. I'm not very perceptive, so I didn't immediately notice that after using the cream, I would get a small red spot each time. It wasn't spreading much, just one spot each application, so I continued using it as it didn't seem severe enough to be a side effect. It was strange because I don't usually get blemishes due to my medication. I had never experienced itching before, but the spots from this cream were itchy. The itching intensified, leading me to discontinue use. It's disappointing because the application feel and texture were good. Honestly, I can't speak to its soothing effects as I didn't use it long enough. However, it did make my skin feel moisturized and smoother, so I think consistent use might have shown good results. I usually layer creams thinly. Given this product's oily nature, I found that squeezing a sufficient amount onto my palm, spreading it by rubbing, and then gently pressing it onto my face resulted in less oiliness, better adherence, and improved absorption. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 9, 2025
This product lives up to its 'barrier' name by effectively combating deep dryness. Usually, barrier products feel heavy or thick, so I only use them at night and avoid them before makeup. But this one doesn't cause pilling even under makeup! Typically, even just oil mists cause me to break out, but this friend doesn't trigger any blemishes, which is great. I have super sensitive skin, but it doesn't cause any tingling or pimples. The texture is like a cleansing milk, so it's surprisingly light for a barrier product. It's hydrating, tackles deep dryness, and even my mom says she doesn't feel any deep dryness. We're both enjoying it! I haven't found any drawbacks yet. I've tried barrier creams from La Roche-Posay, Dr.G, Real Barrier, Aestura, and until recently, Cell Fusion C. Among all these brands, this is by far the most hydrating barrier cream. Hydrated, smooth, and glowing seem to be this product's key features. After applying, I've often heard that my skin looks dewy and healthy. If you prefer a glowy look over matte, try using this as a base for your makeup. You'll feel like you're glowing from within! The hydrating feel makes me reach for it often. Among all the barrier creams I've tried, this is the most hydrating. I highly recommend it for those who want to solve deep dryness without the heaviness! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 9, 2025
Perfect for night care - a fragrance-free, gentle, and rich cream - Recommended for dry skin. My T-zone is slightly oily but I have dry skin overall. This product has a nicely balanced formula with just the right weight, offering a good mix of hydration and richness that feels great on the skin. - Personally, it reminds me of the Atobarrier 365 Cream by Aestura, but with better absorption and a richer feel. - The absorption is really excellent. It glides on smoothly and effortlessly. Due to its slight oiliness, it leaves a sleek finish. - Highly recommended as a night care product. If you have dry skin, you could probably use it year-round (for those with oily or combination skin, it's best for winter). The texture is a bit heavy, so if used during the day under makeup, it might cause some pilling. However, if you apply a small amount and let it absorb well, it should be fine. - I usually avoid translucent, watery moisturizers as they don't provide enough hydration, but this product offers solid moisture that I found very satisfying! The hydration was well-maintained even when I woke up in the morning. I didn't experience any blemishes either. - It might be too heavy for those with oily skin. As it's a cream that combines both moisture and oil, it's more suitable for dry skin types. When using it for night care, it's beneficial to apply a bit extra to areas that tend to get dry easily, such as around the eyes and mouth. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 9, 2025
The packaging and design were decent, and it was convenient that it could stand upright. The volume felt neither too much nor too little, though it might not be the most cost-effective option. The texture was like a typical cream - not too heavy, and it applied smoothly with a moisturizing feel. However, it had a slightly oily finish that I didn't particularly like, although it did eventually absorb. The scent was close to fragrance-free. The product itself felt a bit greasy, and while it provided good hydration, I found the finish a bit overwhelming for my combination dehydrated skin with oily T-zone and visible pores. Those with similar skin types or oily skin might find it too shiny. It might be better suited for those with dry skin! Given its characteristics and pore-clogging ingredients, certain skin types could potentially experience blemishes. Those with super sensitive skin might want to avoid this product. Due to its pore-clogging ingredients and oily, slippery finish, I wouldn't particularly recommend this product for those with oily or combination dehydrated skin. Especially with summer approaching, it might only be usable in winter. Moreover, I'm not sure about its effectiveness, and the uncomfortable feeling outweighs any benefits. Personally, I'd opt for a different hydrating moisturizer. Unless you have dry skin, I'd recommend using a different product or using this one sparingly if you decide to try it. It might be slightly better for nighttime use rather than during the day. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 9, 2025
The hydration is truly top-notch! I usually have deep dryness, and when I use moisturizing creams or oily skincare products, I tend to get blemishes. My routine typically involves applying water-based toner multiple times, followed by hydrating or pore-refining serums, and then a thin layer of cream. With most moisturizers, my skin feels dry, but if I use something too rich, it feels like there's a heavy layer on my face, which I dislike. This product, however, has the refreshing feel of a hydrating cream with excellent absorption, yet its moisturizing power is incredible. On lazy mornings when I'm off work, just applying thin layers of this multiple times works wonders. It's also fragrance-free, glides on smoothly, and leaves my skin feeling pleasantly firm. It's not so much a drawback, but those with oily or combination skin should apply it sparingly on oily areas. The first day, I thoughtlessly applied a thick layer, which took a while to absorb and made my face feel like it was getting greasy faster than usual. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 9, 2025
Lately, my skin's been looking dull due to lack of sleep! Luckily, I won this cream and immediately switched to it. I have sensitive, blemish-prone skin, and this cream was absolutely amazing. It's not completely oil-free, but it has great hydration and just the right amount of richness that works perfectly for me! The texture is fantastic, and it absorbs well into the skin. Once I finish my current cream, I definitely want to purchase this one. It's truly wonderful! There is a bit of richness to it, but it's just right for me. The only downside is that it's a bit on the pricey side.
