The packaging is clean and simple, which I really like. The cap closes securely and dispenses just the right amount of product. It's great that there's no overpowering scent - it's almost unscented. The texture applies smoothly and absorbs well. This might work better for those with dry skin who need extra moisture. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I already have some natural oils. When I applied this cream in the morning before makeup, it made my skin look too shiny and felt a bit like it was sitting on top of my skin. Using it at night left my face feeling extremely greasy the next morning. While it might be better for nighttime use, it still wasn't ideal for me. I'm not certain, but after using this cream, I developed large blemishes in various areas. Some reviews mention pore-clogging ingredients, which could be the cause. In any case, due to the blemishes and excessive oiliness, this cream didn't suit my skin. I'd recommend not using this as your main moisturizer. Instead, apply a hydrating product first, then use just a small amount of this cream as a thin final layer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 7, 2025
After using it for two weeks, I recommend this for those with combination dehydrated skin. I thought it would be just moisturizing like a soothing cream, but it had a slight rich feel. I applied it generously in the evening, though I couldn't use it in the morning. It didn't absorb completely and felt a bit like it was sitting on top of the skin, so I only applied it in the evening and used a lighter formula in the morning. I applied it at night because my skin gets dry while sleeping, and I didn't experience any deep dryness in the evening. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 6, 2025
I've been really satisfied with COSRX's Discoloration Serum, so when I saw another COSRX product in The Hwahae Testers, I immediately applied. The moisturizer has more hydration and less richness than I expected. Compared to my usual emulsions (creams) - Bioderma's Atoderm Intensive Baume and La Roche-Posay's Lipikar Baume - this one feels less rich. When applying, it slightly sits on top of the skin, leading to a bit of deep dryness. (In the attached photo, the left is Lipikar Baume, and the right is the COSRX product) This would suit skin that finds water creams too light and rich cream emulsions too heavy. For me, I think it'll be perfect when it gets a bit warmer, so I've put it in the fridge for now. Additionally, the tube size is just right - not too big or small. It's perfect for travel without needing to pack a separate travel-sized product. As someone who likes to go on weekend trips often, I really appreciate the packaging. If it were just a bit more deeply moisturizing, it would have been perfect for me. The current formula is somewhat light and tends to sit on the skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 30, 2025
Usage period: Mid to late April Skin type: Dry, Very dry ■ Fragrance: Fragrance-free ■ Irritation: Not noticeable, Gentle ■ Hydration: Good ■ Absorption: Good (feels like Bepanthen) Please refer to the photos for more details on texture and application (These images are completely unedited) 《 Feature 1. Excellent hydration 》 - While I can't speak to the 200-hour claim, it helps maintain moisturized skin for about 2-2.5 days. Especially on areas like the cheeks, it absorbs very quickly and you can immediately feel the skin texture becoming softer. This effect also lasts for a long time. I'm not sure, but could this be the effect of the Cecoilgy complex ceramide? 《 Feature 2. Non-irritating and gentle 》 - Fragrance-free, non-irritating, and gentle. 《 Feature 3. Easy to spread texture 》 - Applies smoothly. Feels like applying a cream similar to Bepanthen. 》 Excess oil on certain areas 《 (Absorption rate and time vary depending on skin area, which is disappointing) - While areas with thin skin like the cheeks absorbed quickly and didn't feel too oily, areas like the forehead and chin absorbed slowly and felt somewhat greasy with excess oil on the surface. The cheek area showed immediate improvement in skin texture and felt really soft, so I'm curious why there's such a difference. The usage period was mid to late April, when temperatures fluctuated greatly - hot, then chilly, then warm, then cold again... Perhaps this inconsistency in temperature contributed to the issue. I think these drawbacks might not be noticeable if used during winter. Since the hydration and skin texture improvement effects were satisfactory when applied to thin and delicate areas like the cheeks, it might be more effective to focus on applying it to dry or sensitive skin areas rather than all over the face. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 30, 2025
This moisturizer has that signature slippery and bouncy feel typical of barrier creams. It's quite hydrating and feels more watery than other creams, without the thick, buttery consistency. I loved how it applies smoothly and lightly! I always use a deeply hydrating product as the final step in my nighttime skincare routine when the seasons change or my skin isn't at its best. This cream was perfect for that purpose. It forms a glossy layer over the entire skin, effectively combating deep dryness and providing long-lasting hydration. I also appreciated that it wasn't overly sticky after application, was gentle on my super sensitive skin, and had a pleasant, unobtrusive fragrance-free formula. I'd recommend this more for nighttime care rather than as a moisturizer before makeup. While it's not excessively sticky, it does leave a somewhat rich feeling on the skin. It might be a bit too heavy for applying sunscreen or base makeup over it. If you have combination dehydrated skin, I suggest being careful with the amount you apply to your T-zone. It might work better if you spread a small amount over a larger area or use a spatula to apply it in a thin layer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 19, 2025
I have combination dehydrated skin! I got to use this through a gratis event, but I'll be honest in my review. The fragrance-free aspect was better than I expected! If you're not a fan of scented skincare and looking for a cream formula, you might really like this product. It's great for nighttime use. When I wake up, there's a bit of an Inner Glow, not greasiness... Even after washing my face, I can still feel the hydration! While it's moisturizing... it leaves a slightly greasy feeling on the surface. It's as if it's just sitting on top of the skin? It doesn't seem to absorb well, so even after patting it in a lot, it feels like it's just absorbing into my hands instead. Disappointing absorption. Try applying a slightly thicker layer before bed and wash your face when you wake up! I noticed significantly less tightness after cleansing in the morning. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 17, 2025
1. Gentle on skin: Being fragrance-free, odorless, and colorless, it's comfortable to apply. I tend to avoid basic skincare products with strong fragrances. 2. Packaging: The matte, flat tube fits perfectly in one hand and is hygienic to use. I dislike glossy containers as they can be slippery when applying cream, but this matte packaging is great. 3. Application: With a texture between an emulsion and a cream, it spreads easily without clumping. It's not too thick, making it perfect for reapplication throughout the day. 1. Absorption: While I do tend to apply a generous amount of cream, this one absorbs rather slowly. Even after application, it feels like it's sitting on top of the skin, leaving a slippery feeling. 2. Oiliness: Instead of being fully absorbed and leaving just a hydrated feeling, it leaves a slick residue. It's almost like coating your face with cooking oil, which makes me hesitant to use it during the day. It also causes hair to stick to my face. The feeling reminds me of Pi**o**, which I personally don't enjoy... I found that minimizing the use of heavy toners and essences before applying this cream results in a fresher feeling. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 16, 2025
The product name truly captures its strengths and goals. It offers excellent hydration, benefits the skin barrier, and keeps dry and sensitive skin moisturized. As long as you don't apply too much, it absorbs well. However, I recommend using only a small amount or skipping it in the morning, as excessive application could cause makeup to pill. (Personally, I only use nourishing creams at night, focusing on sunscreen and brightening moisturizer in the morning.) Slathering on a rich cream might solve dryness, but it can feel heavy. This product strikes the perfect balance when applied moderately - not too heavy, just right! The ceramides ensure effective moisturization. As someone with dry skin that responds well to ceramides, I consider them a safe bet for combating dryness. The texture is smooth, causes no blemishes, and provides ample hydration even with minimal use now that the weather is warmer. The feel when applied is similar to Cetaphil or Physiogel emulsions - from appearance and texture to absorption and after-feel. While Cetaphil works well for me, Physiogel caused some small bumps (though that was long ago). Given the similarity, I closely observed my skin after use. Surprisingly, despite not being a specialized product, it keeps my skin hydrated even after washing in the morning, and makeup applies well. This makes me wonder if it has good absorption and moisturizing power, and I'm satisfied with its use. There aren't really any downsides, except maybe wishing it was cheaper given the 80ml size. That's about it. I don't have blemish-prone skin, so I can't really speak to skin barrier strengthening. I have dry skin, and this cream prevents me from feeling dry, which is satisfying. However, those with oily skin might find the cream heavy. Since it's a moisturizing cream, it may feel like it sits on top of the skin and absorbs slowly for some people. For oily skin types, it might be best suited for winter use only. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 15, 2025
Absorbs well and effectively combats deep dryness. It's gentle and excellent for hydration. Fragrance-free. There's a slight surface residue typical of panthenol. It takes a bit of time to absorb, so I recommend using it at night rather than in the morning. Apply a small amount twice - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinApr 11, 2025
As a ceramide cream, it's great for dry skin. It works wonders on flaky areas around the lips and cracked skin. There's no noticeable scent, and the hydration lasts for a long time. The rich texture might feel a bit heavy for those with oily skin, potentially leaving a greasy residue.
