1. Product Name: The Saem Healing Tea Garden Tea Tree Cleansing Water, 300ml 2. Volume: 300ml 3. Brief Description: The Saem's Healing Tea Garden Tea Tree Cleansing Water is infused with tea tree oil, effectively cleansing the skin while maintaining hydration. 4. Pros: - Contains tea tree oil that thoroughly removes sebum and fine dust, improving skin condition. - Leaves skin feeling moisturized without dryness after cleansing. - Can be gently massaged into the skin, providing an additional massage benefit. - Mineral oil-free formula reduces irritation, making it suitable for sensitive skin. 5. Cons: It may not feel thorough enough when used as a standalone cleanser. 6. Usage Tips: - Apply an appropriate amount of cleansing water to your hands and gently massage it onto your face. Pay extra attention to oily areas like the T-zone. - After cleansing, instead of rinsing, gently wipe off with a cotton pad or swab. This method helps retain the moisturizing effect on the skin. - For areas with heavy makeup, soak a cotton pad with the cleansing water, dampen it slightly, and wipe the area again for a more thorough cleanse. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 2, 2024
The SAEM Cleansing Water I've got three varieties - Tea Tree, Green Tea, and White Tea - that I rotate through. Lately, I've been sticking to just the Tea Tree and Green Tea. To be honest, I've been loyal to The SAEM Cleansing Water since I first started wearing makeup. I can't recall trying other products, but even if I did, this one must have been better since I'm still using it. First off, it's gentle on the skin. The scent is pleasantly subtle, which I love. It's also effective at cleansing. It does a great job removing BB cream and eyeshadow. It doesn't completely remove waterproof eyeliner or makeup from the waterline, leaving some residue behind. When used with toner pads, especially the Green Tea version, it's absolutely satisfying. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinFeb 22, 2022
When I use this alone, it feels like there's still a layer of makeup left. But since I usually do a double cleanse anyway, it works great as my first cleanser! It even dissolves light eye makeup well. I won't be using it on its own, so I'm satisfied with it. It's probably difficult to use this as a standalone cleanser, and you definitely need to follow up with a second cleanse. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 21, 2021
First off, it excels at its primary function - cleansing. It's gentle enough that you can use it liberally without worry. Whether I'm wearing makeup or bare-faced, I always start by soaking a cotton pad and wiping my face. You'll be surprised to see how much dirt comes off, appearing dark on the pad. Following up with a regular cleanse leaves my skin feeling incredibly clean. The tea tree scent is quite strong. However, I personally find it refreshing and pleasant. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 4, 2021
Sebum control: Contains ingredients that help control sebum in the forehead, nose, and chin areas. As someone with acne-prone skin, I use it not only for makeup cleansing but also before my morning cleanse. Texture: It's a water-based formula, so there's no oily feeling and it leaves skin feeling fresh! I love how it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry after cleansing. Volume and price: Such a generous amount of cleansing water for this price!! It's incredible value. For mascara or shimmery eyeshadows, you'll need to use a dedicated makeup remover. (However, it removes most makeup effectively, so I still consider it excellent.) For heavy makeup, saturate a cotton pad with the product, place it on the area for a moment, then gently wipe. This method works well for thorough removal. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 20, 2020
It feels refreshingly cool and removes makeup easily, leaving a fresh sensation. I used to only use cleansing oils, but since trying this product, I'm really impressed! Its cleansing effectiveness is great - it removes sunscreen, eye makeup, and other light makeup effortlessly. That's all I need since I don't wear heavy makeup. There's nothing particularly negative to mention. I've never experienced any blemishes from it, and I'm quite satisfied overall. For best results, gently wipe your face with a cotton pad. You can use soft, gentle motions - no need to scrub hard. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 19, 2020
* This review is written as a winner of The Hwahae Testers program ❣️Cleansing effectiveness When using this Tea Tree Cleansing Water, I applied an appropriate amount to a cotton pad, then gently pressed it against my skin for 3 seconds for face makeup and 10 seconds for lip and eye makeup before wiping. The cleansing water alone removed most of my makeup effectively. If there were any remnants of point makeup, I simply repeated the process once more, and it was completely removed! I didn't experience any tingling or burning sensation on my skin. Instead, the tea tree scent and feeling added a refreshing touch, leaving me with a clean finish. I usually do a double cleanse with cleansing water followed by foam cleanser, but even when I used foam after this cleansing water, it felt gentle enough to use without much irritation. The primary cleansing power was that good! ❣️Value for money The value for money is excellent considering the volume - you can generously soak your cotton pads without worry! Given its effective cleansing power at this price point, I think it's a great option for anyone to use comfortably. 💧 While I personally didn't have any issues while using it, I've heard that it contains some potentially problematic ingredients. So those who carefully check product ingredients might want to take note of this. However, in my personal experience, I didn't have any skin irritation and found it to be fine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 19, 2020
- This is a review from The Hwahae Testers! (The review deadline was September 18th, but I'm writing a day late because I was so tired from studying that I fell asleep as soon as I got home) - Cleansing effectiveness: It removed makeup incredibly well. Even stubborn stains were completely wiped away without any residue. For the second cleanse, a light rinse with water was sufficient. - Scent: I absolutely love the tea tree scent. I have the ○ tea tree line at home, and I've always enjoyed the subtle tea tree fragrance while using it. This product also has a tea tree scent, so I found myself sniffing it while removing my makeup. There was even a very faint lingering scent after cleansing! (Though if you keep smelling it, it might remind you a bit of citrus soda...?) - Tingling: Especially when removing eye makeup, it can often sting if it gets in your eyes, but I found this product didn't irritate me at all, which was great. - Other: I didn't experience any blemishes while using this product. It seems to suit my skin well! I used this product so well and it suited my skin so perfectly that I can't think of any downsides. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 18, 2020
*The Hwahae Testers Review* I typically have oily skin with excess sebum, and in winter my U-zone gets dry. Occasionally, when my skin acts up, I get multiple pustules and my cheeks are covered in small bumps - classic acne-prone skin. This cleansing water seems great for light use. Its biggest advantage is that it's more affordable than other cleansers, making it a good value for money! If you're only wearing sunscreen, concealer, eyebrow product, and eyeshadow, this cleansing water is sufficient. It also contains tea tree extract, known to be beneficial for acne-prone skin. It's not sticky at all and feels just like water, so I recommend it for those with oily skin. Unfortunately, it doesn't remove all types of makeup... For liquid eyeliner, waterproof mascara, and long-lasting tints, you need to rub quite hard to remove everything. On days when you're wearing heavy makeup, it might be better to use a cleansing oil or makeup remover. There are also some disappointing aspects in terms of ingredients... It works well when used with cotton pads. I personally soak a cleansing tissue generously with this cleansing water to remove makeup, then follow up with a foam cleanser for a double cleanse! It's easy to use without any burden and gentle on the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 18, 2020
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers :) My skin type is combination (oily explosion in summer, deep dryness in winter). Let me introduce the product first. It's a cleansing water containing Australian tea tree that helps remove excess sebum from pores while gently dissolving light makeup, leaving skin feeling soft and clean. The advantages I found are: As a high school senior, I don't need heavy makeup, so I only apply base, eyebrows, and lips. When cleansing, as mentioned in the product description, it removed my light makeup effortlessly, leaving my skin feeling fresh. Also, when I need to touch up or completely redo my makeup without a full face wash, this product is perfect. I can just carry it with me for easy touch-ups. True to its name 'Healing Tea Garden Tea Tree', the scent isn't artificial. I was satisfied with its subtle tea tree fragrance. Despite its affordable price, it comes in a generous amount, so I highly recommend it! I also appreciated that the container isn't a pump-style. I've always found pump bottles inconvenient as dust tends to collect on top, requiring constant cleaning. However, a drawback is that it doesn't remove heavy makeup like mascara and eyeliner in one go. You need to hold it on for about 5-10 seconds before wiping for effective removal. Also, it contains PEG, so if you have super sensitive skin, I recommend considering this carefully before purchasing!
