It feels so refreshing, making it much better than using oil-based cleansers in summer The only downside is that it left my skin feeling slightly dry - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 8, 2022
I must have used at least 5 bottles of this... That's how long I've been using it, and it's been a pretty decent product. I really liked its lightweight formula. After using it for a long time, I couldn't help but feel it was becoming a bit drying on my skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 30, 2022
It seems to control sebum well and has good cleansing effectiveness. I've already gone through at least 6 bottles of this product. It's a really nice one! Those with dry skin might find it a bit tight on their skin - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 26, 2021
(Usage experience) My skin tends to be super sensitive, but I didn't experience any blemishes at all. I used it by lightly soaking a cotton pad after applying makeup, and it was gentle without causing any skin irritation! I loved how lightweight and hydrating it felt! (Scent) The fragrance wasn't overpowering, and I detected a pleasant aroma (notes of cica, pine, and a cool, refreshing scent). Those with extremely dry skin might find it a bit drying after use. I recommend applying it with a cotton pad! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 17, 2021
It removes makeup effectively, which is great! While it might struggle a bit with glittery eyeshadow, it does an excellent job of cleansing everything else. There aren't many downsides, but my skin does feel quite dry after using it to remove makeup. Other than that, it's pretty good. I've heard that using cotton pads can irritate the skin. So, I put the cleanser in a foaming dispenser bottle from Daiso that turns it into foam when you pump it. Even if you don't have that, Daiso sells foaming nets that could work well too. I think using something like that would be a good idea. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinNov 5, 2020
It removes makeup really well without any irritation, and the price is quite reasonable too. Those sensitive to tea tree might find it a bit harsh, and it can be somewhat drying at times. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 18, 2020
(The Hwahae Testers) As someone with super sensitive skin that reacts quickly to products that don't suit me, I was pleasantly surprised by this cleanser. I usually wear light makeup, and these days with mask-wearing, I keep it simple. However, I always make sure to apply mascara and eyeshadow, even when wearing a mask! Mascara can be a pain to remove, but this cleanser did a great job. I soaked a cotton pad and wiped thoroughly, and it came off easily. Plus, knowing it passed the eye area safety test gave me extra peace of mind. Some cleansers can sting and cause redness, but this one removed makeup gently without any irritation. That's a big plus! I always use primer, which can be tricky to remove, but this cleanser handled it well, even clearing out my pores. While it doesn't magically clear up existing blemishes, it seemed to keep my skin calm. Though it's not a toner, I felt like it even helped refine my skin texture! I'd heard the tea tree scent might be strong, but honestly, I didn't find it bothersome at all. The overall feel is refreshing, though there is a slight tightness afterward. As I have dry skin, I did notice a bit of dryness - not severe, just a slight tightness. (I used this after removing makeup with cleansing water, followed by cleansing oil and foam cleanser.) Other than that, everything else was great! It doesn't dramatically remove everything in one swipe. For best results, saturate a cotton pad well and wipe multiple times. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 18, 2020
The texture feels refreshing and pleasant to use. The scent is also quite nice. It's too drying, unfortunately. I wonder how it would have worked in midsummer, but right now it emphasizes dead skin cells and makes my skin feel tight. It probably won't suit those with super sensitive skin. It might work well if applied with Innisfree's 5-layer cotton pads. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSep 14, 2020
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. I'm writing an honest review after using the product. Cleansing effectiveness: I usually use a separate lip and eye remover for eyeliner and lipstick, but I tried using only this product to remove all my makeup for 1-2 weeks. I thought it wouldn't remove well, but it surprisingly does a good job. Although you need to rub a few times, it removes makeup well without causing severe irritation. I was stressed about sebum that often appears on my nose, but when I soaked a cotton pad with this product and placed it on my nose every evening before wiping, it cleaned up nicely! Even if it's not a fundamental solution, I liked the feeling of dissolving and removing sebum at the moment of wiping. The sebum dissolves and leaves a yellow stain on the cotton pad, leaving the skin clean. Although it says no separate face wash is needed, I felt a bit uneasy not washing my face, so I finished with a face wash after using the cleansing water. Scent: It contains tea tree, so there's a slight tea tree scent. It's not a strong scent, so it's not polarizing, and I liked it! Value for money: I think it's great value for this quality at this price. I especially liked that it not only removes makeup well but also manages sebum, making it highly versatile. Also, the quantity is generous, so it seems like it will last for quite a while. I haven't really felt any downsides to this product yet. Maybe that the skin feels a bit tight after use...? But I didn't experience any discomfort as I either wash my face right after using the cleansing water or apply a moisturizer. Even on days when I don't wear makeup, wiping my skin with the cleansing water removes the dust and oil that accumulated on my skin throughout the day, leaving it feeling clean. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSep 2, 2020
I've already gone through about 5 bottles of this. First off, the price is so affordable that you can generously soak your cotton pad without worry. It removes makeup effectively, and best of all, it leaves your skin feeling fresh after cleansing. It seems to be a great value product that works without irritation. While it works well for my oily skin, those with dry skin might find it a bit drying.
