- Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 13, 2024
It removes makeup thoroughly. You don't even need a separate eye makeup remover! It can cause an allergic reaction. Not recommended for those with super sensitive skin. It's convenient to use with a foam net for easy lathering. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJun 19, 2022
It's truly amazing... After cleansing, my skin feels so refreshed. Personally, I love the scent - it's not overpowering at all. It has a slightly strong tea tree aroma? If you're not a fan of tea tree, I'd recommend the green tea version! There's a good reason why this product is so popular... However, don't rely on this alone for cleansing... Make sure to follow up with a second cleanser. Using this by itself will definitely lead to blemishes - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 13, 2021
The SAEM Cleansing Water has been incredibly popular for ages. I usually use a different brand's green tea cleansing water, but when that product was reformulated and didn't suit me anymore, I decided to give this one a try. I bought one bottle each of the green tea and tea tree versions. First off, its cleansing effectiveness is better than other brands. It removes mascara and eyeliner well too. Plus, I absolutely love the fresh, distinctive scent of the tea tree version. However, it seems this product doesn't agree with my skin. I'm not extremely sensitive, but I do get blemishes when my skin is dry or my condition is a bit off, and I have some mask allergies. After using this, my skin felt a bit itchy, and the next day I broke out in red patches all over. It took quite an effort to calm my skin down. I won't be repurchasing this again. I even gave the green tea version to my sister, just in case. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2020
The price is so reasonable! I bought it because I heard tea tree is great for blemishes. I purchased this because it was supposed to be effective for back and chest acne, but when I use it to cleanse, it actually makes my blemishes worse... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 27, 2020
* Apart from the affordable price, I'm struggling to find other positives... * It irritates my skin, causing redness and blemishes after use. So disappointing! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 28, 2020
I absolutely loved that I didn't need a separate point remover! This product alone effectively removed my eyebrow makeup, eyeliner, and mascara. It worked so well! However... my skin tends to redden easily with even the slightest irritation, and once it's red, it takes quite a while to calm down. When I used this to remove makeup, my whole face became flushed, especially around the philtrum area, which lasted longer than usual. I think it might be because of the tea tree ingredient making it a bit harsh. If you have super sensitive skin like mine, you might want to avoid this product! I'm not sure if this helps calm blemishes on the face, but it works wonders for acne on the chest and back! Just apply it with a cotton pad, gently wiping the area, and by the next day, you'll notice the acne has significantly reduced and calmed down. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 20, 2019
First off, it's great value for money and comes in a generous size! The cleansing effectiveness isn't bad either. It seems to cause a few blemishes. I've used tea tree products before, but this one doesn't seem to agree with my skin. Since it's affordable and you get a lot, gently cleanse twice for best results! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 15, 2019
This product offers great cleansing effectiveness at an affordable price. It's incredibly effective at removing everything from eyeliner to lipstick, making it a really useful addition to my routine. The downside is that it seems to cause an allergic reaction on my super sensitive skin, leaving it red and irritated after use. Interestingly, I didn't experience this with the green tea version from the same line, so there must be some difference in the ingredients. I found it's great for travel - I soak some cotton pads with it and seal them in a ziplock bag. This not only saves space but also ensures I can remove my makeup thoroughly while on the go. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinJul 28, 2019
My skin type has been transitioning from oily to normal, and I rarely get blemishes - maybe just one or two occasionally. While this cleansing water isn't strong enough to completely remove eye and lip makeup, I think it fulfills its role as a cleansing water perfectly. You need to apply it with a cotton pad, and it seems to effectively wipe away makeup along the skin's texture. It's incredibly gentle and amazing! I highly recommend it as a reliable, go-to product. Unless you have extremely sensitive eyes, I can't understand why anyone wouldn't want to try this. It's just that good! After reading other reviews, I noticed many people mentioned their eyes feeling uncomfortable after using this around the eye area. Come to think of it, I've always been prone to eye allergies, and now I wonder if this product might be the cause... I was planning to repurchase after finishing my current bottle, but now I'm considering trying something different. I only use this to remove makeup from my face and eyebrows. There's a reason why separate lip and eye makeup removers exist. If you avoid using it around your eyes, you should be fine.
