The scent is refreshing and it absorbs well. For an oil, it's surprisingly light, making it more suitable for skin treatment rather than just moisturizing. It can be irritating for sensitive skin. I've used about 4 bottles of this product and have been quite satisfied with it. However, this winter my skin had an allergic reaction (not because of this product), and when I applied it to the affected areas, it stung and didn't soothe my skin as expected. It's likely to work well for acne-prone and oily skin types (but not for sensitive skin). It's great when mixed with your hydrating moisturizer. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 3, 2017
The fragrance was very strong and herbal, which I liked. Apart from that, it was rather mediocre. I'm sensitive to herbs, so my skin went haywire. I got acne and bumps all over. I've used a lot of Witch's Factory products, but there weren't any major downsides, just that my skin didn't really improve either. The only issue was this one product because of the herbs - so those sensitive to herbs should be careful. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 18, 2017
(Use for at least 2 months and leave a review again:) 1. The herbal scent is very strong, so it feels like you're getting a therapy treatment after showering. 2. The ingredients are gentle, so it's a good oil as long as your skin doesn't react to the components. 1. The scent is too strong, so it's only suitable for evening care. 2. If you apply it all over after sensitive skin care, it can cause irritation. 1. When cleansing, mixing it with a foam cleanser makes your skin feel moisturized and nice. 2. Blending it with body products and using it for evening care gives you a therapeutic feeling. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJun 19, 2016
I'm not sure about the good points. I just bought something that was on sale, and the price was cheap. I looked up tea tree oil products and bought one because the reviews were good, but as soon as I used this, I broke out. It doesn't absorb well and just sits on the skin. I wasn't using it, so I ended up giving it to a friend because I didn't want it to go to waste. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 2, 2016
My skin is dry+sensitive and I purchased it from a Wemakeprice deal. Other than the cheap purchase price, it's... ㅠㅠ Even though I didn't apply much, the next day my entire face was turned upside down. It turned bright red and wouldn't calm down... I should have looked into it when I noticed the strong scent. My eyes were swollen, so I went to the hospital today. The Hwahae Trial Reviewer line is kind of a life-saver, but it seems the herbs don't agree with me. I'll try to go to the hospital again tomorrow for an allergy check. Be careful, sensitive skin folks. I should have checked Hwahae earlier before buying. ㅂㄷㅂㄷ... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 2, 2015
The scent is quite strong, but it's not bad once you get used to it. The lightweight oil texture is nice. For the first few weeks, it was okay as I got used to the scent and used it. But one day, my face suddenly swelled up, became itchy, and turned red, so I had to see a dermatologist for a week of treatment. I had about 1/3 of the bottle left, but I felt uneasy, so I threw it away. I bought two more during an event, and after 4 months, I started using the new ones. On the first day, in the evening, I had the exact same symptoms - itchiness, swelling, and puffiness. I had to see a dermatologist for 5 days of treatment. Am I the only one experiencing this? I'm a big fan of this brand... - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMay 9, 2015
There were absolutely no positives. I had heard that Witch Factory products are so gentle!! So when my face oil ran out, I decided to try the Witch Factory one, but it seems I'm just too sensitive.?!?!? I've been going back and forth to the dermatologist.ㅠㅠ I'm sure there are people who this oil works well for... But for me personally, it was the worst cosmetic product. I had to confirm whether it was because of this oil or not, so I foolishly did confirmation overkill more than 10 times. The result was that it was indeed because of this oil.. So my face ended up in an even bigger mess... Throughout my life, I've had slightly dry and sensitive skin, but I've never had it flip out this badly before My friends around me even told me to submit photos and file for compensation...... No matter how little chemical content there is, it's absolutely not the case that it suits everyone's skin!!!!!! I've learned that lesson. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinApr 9, 2015
The first few days were really great - my skin became more even and my skin tone was refined. It felt moisturized as well. However, Yesterday, my skin really flipped out. My cheeks were hot and itchy, I couldn't stand it and kept scratching. My forehead and nose bridge also became reddish. It was itchy, hot, and my lips were a bit cracked. Ugh, it hurt and stung when I woke up, and the more I think about it, the more annoying it is. Even now, the area around my lower lip is itchy and irritating me to death. Should I only apply it 2 times a week? I spread a thin layer, but what could be the problem? The double eyelid area, which was normally fine, also became reddish and sore... I guess I shouldn't just blindly believe what's popular online, huh? This was my first time trying it, and I'm just sighing.
