It does provide skin hydration and moisture... But I haven't really found any other advantages yet. Maybe it's because I have particularly sensitive and reactive skin. I applied the oil right after washing my face and using toner. I had high hopes because of all the positive reviews, but whether I applied too much, or the oil doesn't agree with me, or maybe the herbal ingredients don't suit my skin... it left my face looking shiny. There wasn't any itching, but after dinner, I looked in the mirror and saw that I had broken out in bumps like mosquito bites all over. I was so shocked that I immediately washed my face and tried to calm my skin. It's settled down a bit now, but I still have some blemishes. About 6 new ones appeared that weren't there before I used the oil. It didn't react this way when I applied it to the back of my hand, so I'm not sure why this happened. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 11, 2017
Not everything labeled as 'natural' is necessarily good. There may be something in the extraction process of the ingredients. The herbal fragrance is fine though. The calming effect was reversed, causing skin irritation... Sensitive and problematic skin, but not really 'clean' ingredients. Looks like natural or organic extracts aren't always good either. The extraction process, like how olive oil is cold-pressed, seems important. It caused redness, burning, and small bumps. I bought 2 but I'm not using them now. Natural, organic, clean ingredients? There's a lot of distrust in cosmetic ingredients these days... The extraction method used is important. The companies supplying the extracted materials seem a bit questionable. Don't be fooled by claims of gentleness. Surprisingly, a lot of people have allergies to herbs. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 2, 2016
The fragrance was pleasant and made me feel healthier, but it was just a feeling and the actual results were completely different ㅠㅠ I not only had millet acne, but also swollen, lumpy bumps that were really frightening. At night, after washing and going to bed, it seemed a bit better the next day, so I kept using it, but then it became itchy, even more inflamed, and a complete mess. I stopped using it and went to a dermatologist, who said it was seborrheic dermatitis. This was the first time I had experienced something like this, and I couldn't believe it was happening to me. I trusted the good ingredients in the Witch Factory products and kept using them, which turned out to be my downfall. It seems the ingredients that are prohibited for sensitive skin were the culprit. Be careful. For reference, I used an extremely (!) small amount, divided over 3 weeks. Those with even the slightest skin sensitivity should absolutely stay far away!! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 8, 2016
The ingredients were good, and the reviews were also good. It was really great for the first 3 days... My dry skin became soft and supple, and my makeup applied well. But after 3 days, my skin flipped... I gave it to my sister, and she said her dry skin became smooth, so she seems to be using it well. After 3 days, the area around my eyes became swollen, itchy, and rough with flaky skin... I couldn't even wear makeup for over 2 weeks and just applied lotion. I don't know which ingredient didn't agree with me, but whenever I use this, the same thing happens... If you mix a drop of the lotion and use it, your skin becomes smooth and supple. It didn't work for me, but my sister says she's using it really well and loves it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMar 28, 2016
Oh no.. For moisturizing hair..? It's so itchy... The radiance was so good that I used it up, and they said this one is better for oily skin, but it's super itchy... I saw that the ingredients have a lot of irritants But I trusted it since it's a professional product I'll have to switch back to Radiance.. I'll use up the rest of this on my hair little by little.. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 2, 2015
The scent is quite strong, but it's not bad once you get used to it. The lightweight oil texture is nice. For the first few weeks, it was okay as I got used to the scent and used it. But one day, my face suddenly swelled up, became itchy, and turned red, so I had to see a dermatologist for a week of treatment. I had about 1/3 of the bottle left, but I felt uneasy, so I threw it away. I bought two more during an event, and after 4 months, I started using the new ones. On the first day, in the evening, I had the exact same symptoms - itchiness, swelling, and puffiness. I had to see a dermatologist for 5 days of treatment. Am I the only one experiencing this? I'm a big fan of this brand... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 30, 2015
It wasn't that great. I just used it casually, and it did make my skin turn red, but I just went with it. My acne didn't subside, and there must be some incompatible ingredient, as it just made my skin red... but it absorbs quickly. I used it for the second time, and the next day my skin became completely red, feverish, and itchy, so I went to the hospital and was told I had skin inflammation. I suffered for 3 days, applying and taking the medication. At the time, I didn't think it was because of this oil, but why did I use it again yesterday? I woke up from my sleep scratching my itchy, red face. I'm going crazy with the itchiness and redness. I'll have to go to the hospital again... I've learned that even if there are no bad ingredients, it can still not agree with my skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinApr 9, 2015
The first few days were really great - my skin became more even and my skin tone was refined. It felt moisturized as well. However, Yesterday, my skin really flipped out. My cheeks were hot and itchy, I couldn't stand it and kept scratching. My forehead and nose bridge also became reddish. It was itchy, hot, and my lips were a bit cracked. Ugh, it hurt and stung when I woke up, and the more I think about it, the more annoying it is. Even now, the area around my lower lip is itchy and irritating me to death. Should I only apply it 2 times a week? I spread a thin layer, but what could be the problem? The double eyelid area, which was normally fine, also became reddish and sore... I guess I shouldn't just blindly believe what's popular online, huh? This was my first time trying it, and I'm just sighing.
