The ingredients aren't particularly bad. I received a sample and gave it a try. The strong herbal scent gives me a headache. It's too intense for me to use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 12, 2018
I saw remarkable effects on areas with blemishes. Having combination skin, I was worried that applying oil might cause more breakouts, but instead, it actually helped soothe even the more prominent blemishes! It's not too greasy and feels just right. The scent might be polarizing for some. Perhaps due to the herbal extracts, I found the fragrance a bit off-putting at first. You get used to it over time, but those sensitive to scents might not appreciate it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 18, 2017
(Use for at least 2 months and leave a review again:) 1. The herbal scent is very strong, so it feels like you're getting a therapy treatment after showering. 2. The ingredients are gentle, so it's a good oil as long as your skin doesn't react to the components. 1. The scent is too strong, so it's only suitable for evening care. 2. If you apply it all over after sensitive skin care, it can cause irritation. 1. When cleansing, mixing it with a foam cleanser makes your skin feel moisturized and nice. 2. Blending it with body products and using it for evening care gives you a therapeutic feeling. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 4, 2016
I had small acne all over my face due to dry skin, but after applying it and sleeping, there was a significant improvement in the morning. My skin also felt incredibly soft and smooth. I only applied it to my entire face, and it provided excellent moisturizing power. The scent was a bit strong, and it was quite uncomfortable to breathe when applied all over the face. Additionally, it seems to be out of stock at the moment, as I inquired and found that it has been out of stock for quite some time. I've developed some pimples and it's quite dry now, so I purchased both products to address these issues. There's a slight sense of greasiness. Since it's an oil, it feels moisturizing. I'm not sure yet about its effectiveness in soothing blemishes, as I'm using it along with another Centella ointment. The tea tree scent is stronger than I expected, compared to herbal fragrances. I was quite surprised by the intensity of the aroma at first. Since it's an oil, it may be better to use it as a final step in your routine, applying it generally to dry areas rather than directly on blemishes, when dealing with breakouts. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 12, 2016
The product is quite unique...It may be a bit bulky, but it's lightweight, doesn't tug at the skin, and the pale green color is pretty - it's all good...isn't it? Ugh, the smell is way too strong! I felt dizzy just from smelling it. This is not a cosmetic fragrance. I'm usually not sensitive to scents, so I can tolerate most things, but this is just not something a person can wear. Plus, it's incredibly greasy. The fragrance has strong likes and dislikes, so it's best to test the scent before purchasing. And since it's quite greasy, it's better to mix it with other products rather than using it on its own. That would be more considerate for your nose. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 7, 2016
The product was indeed moisturizing as an oil should be However, the scent hindered all of that.. The smell.......... The smell is really too strong... I want to use it, but the smell makes it impossible Those sensitive to scents would really not recommend this👎👎👎 - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 2, 2016
My skin is dry+sensitive and I purchased it from a Wemakeprice deal. Other than the cheap purchase price, it's... ㅠㅠ Even though I didn't apply much, the next day my entire face was turned upside down. It turned bright red and wouldn't calm down... I should have looked into it when I noticed the strong scent. My eyes were swollen, so I went to the hospital today. The Hwahae Trial Reviewer line is kind of a life-saver, but it seems the herbs don't agree with me. I'll try to go to the hospital again tomorrow for an allergy check. Be careful, sensitive skin folks. I should have checked Hwahae earlier before buying. ㅂㄷㅂㄷ... - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 28, 2016
This oil is very lightweight, so there's no stuffy feeling and it's moisturizing. Before using this, I used camellia oil from another brand. Camellia oil was so rich that I could cover my entire face, neck, and even wrists with just one drop. But this herb oil, I can only cover my face with 2 drops. It doesn't feel sticky and gets absorbed quickly, so there's no greasiness, just a healthy glow. I think I can use this comfortably even in the summer. It's good for all seasons. With camellia oil, when I applied a lot on days I needed more moisture, it sometimes clogged my pores and caused breakouts. But this one seems to suit my skin well - I've never had any breakouts. The ingredients are great, so in addition to moisturizing, it also has skin-soothing effects, sebum control, and herb therapy benefits. Having this as a multi-purpose item is very useful and good. The scent is really unique... It's a strong herbal fragrance, and when I'm not feeling well, it can smell like gasoline or rubber tires, which can be unpleasant. But on days when I'm feeling good, it's actually more refreshing than the odorless camellia oil. And some people with allergies to certain herb ingredients can get skin irritation and breakouts from this. So it's really important to do a patch test with a sample first... If anyone needs a sample, let me know. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 16, 2016
When I applied the Red Trouble in the evening and during the day, I noticed that the trouble was significantly reduced the next morning. It has a smell of oil paints... a petroleum smell.. The fragrance makes me feel a bit nauseous.. While I can tolerate it once or twice, I don't think I can use it for an extended period.
