The scent is truly herbal and pleasantly rich. Being an oil, it absorbs smoothly into the skin. Due to its oil-based nature, avoid applying too much. Stick to just the right amount for your skin, or it may lead to pilling and blemishes. For those with dry skin, try mixing a drop or two with your foundation or other products. This versatile approach could work well for you. - sh*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedAug 5, 2019
It does a great job of combating dryness and the oil really fulfills its purpose. It's a solid, reliable product. I appreciated how gentle it seemed to be. No irritation whatsoever. The scent is a bit... peculiar. It's likely to be quite divisive - people will either love it or hate it! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMar 25, 2019
I must have used about 5 bottles of this up until my early twenties. With my T-zone being oily and my cheeks lacking oil but never feeling particularly tight, this provided just the right amount of hydration for me. Despite being an oil, it doesn't feel greasy and absorbs well into the skin. As I mentioned, it worked great until my early twenties, but as I entered my mid-twenties, my skin definitely became drier. This is a product I stopped using when I changed my skincare routine. - du******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 19, 2019
I've been using this product because my skin is usually dry. It quickly calms blemishes. When I applied it to troubled areas before bed, I woke up to find they had significantly improved. The texture isn't heavy, doesn't leave a greasy feeling, and absorbs well into the skin. At first, I was a bit put off by the strong herbal scent. I use this when my blemishes are particularly bad. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 31, 2019
The ingredients aren't particularly bad. I received a sample and gave it a try. The strong herbal scent gives me a headache. It's too intense for me to use. - ch**********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedAug 25, 2018
I tried this oil again after the renewal since I liked it before. Even before opening the cap, you can smell the herbal scent - it's strong but not overpowering, which I enjoyed. It absorbs well into the skin without feeling too light. The packaging design is clean, and I used it both on its own and mixed with other products. I bought it during a big sale, which apparently was the last chance to get the pre-renewal version. It felt like saying goodbye, so I even took a picture! The quantity is a bit small compared to how much I tend to use, since it absorbs so nicely and leaves skin feeling fresh. - zn******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 21, 2018
The way it absorbs is fantastic. Despite being an oil, it's surprisingly lightweight, making it suitable even for someone with oily skin like me. And the fragrance? Absolutely delightful! There's not really anything to complain about. However, I didn't notice any significant effect on my blemishes. - ho*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 14, 2018
I almost didn't try this, but the results were so amazing that I came back to buy more, only to find it's been discontinued. There's a renewed version available, so you might want to try that. This product is absolutely incredible! First off, tea tree should work for you, and when you apply this, it might sting or tingle on blemishes, it doesn't absorb quickly, and has a strong scent. I used it generously on my blemishes 5-6 times a day for about 5 days. You know those stubborn spots that don't come to a head, clearly have something inside, hurt when pressed, won't pop no matter how hard you try, and only end up causing damage even if you use an extraction tool? The kind you'd need to get professionally extracted or lanced at a dermatologist's office? I had one of these persistent blemishes for over 5 months. This product brought it to a head, and with a gentle squeeze, it finally popped! It's amazing. I cleared up 3 spots like this. I'd heard tea tree had this effect, but wow, it really works wonders. Highly, highly recommended! I can't understand why this product isn't more widely promoted or why it was discontinued. Always apply a generous amount to blemishes and leave it on throughout the day. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinApr 30, 2018
Compared to other oils on the market, it's lightweight and doesn't leave a greasy feeling. The scent might not be for everyone... If you have sensitive skin like me, your face could turn red when using it. Everyone's skin is different. It has a tea tree scent. While it's fine when used in foam cleansers or as a spot treatment, even though this face oil is light, it seems my skin is too sensitive for it. It doesn't work for me, so I can't recommend it. - do*****Oily SkinAcne SkinApr 12, 2018
Life-changing oil!! It's reduced my blemishes and improved my skin texture so much. Highly recommend this product for oily skin types The volume is too small! It disappears quickly if you use it generously... I wish it came in a larger size
