It does provide skin hydration and moisture... But I haven't really found any other advantages yet. Maybe it's because I have particularly sensitive and reactive skin. I applied the oil right after washing my face and using toner. I had high hopes because of all the positive reviews, but whether I applied too much, or the oil doesn't agree with me, or maybe the herbal ingredients don't suit my skin... it left my face looking shiny. There wasn't any itching, but after dinner, I looked in the mirror and saw that I had broken out in bumps like mosquito bites all over. I was so shocked that I immediately washed my face and tried to calm my skin. It's settled down a bit now, but I still have some blemishes. About 6 new ones appeared that weren't there before I used the oil. It didn't react this way when I applied it to the back of my hand, so I'm not sure why this happened. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 6, 2017
The best thing about it was the spreadability. As someone with a sensitive combination skin type, it did not feel greasy, cakey, or overly adhesive. Since I have oily and sensitive skin, small bumpy acne started to appear. It kept getting worse, with a lot of it showing up on my cheeks and chin, and it didn't calm down well, so I had to stop using it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 23, 2017
If the fact that it doesn't feel sticky is an advantage, then it is an advantage. This feels smooth on my neck and massages it, but my neck keeps feeling hot and getting red...I wonder what the reason is...ㅠ ㅠ If you apply it on top of a moisturizer, the moisturizer will likely not evaporate as much. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 2, 2017
It had a bit of a glow, but there were no other good points. The very next day after using it, countless more blemishes popped up. I was hesitant, so I tried using it sparingly, but despite claims that it would calm down blemishes, it only made them worse. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 11, 2017
Not everything labeled as 'natural' is necessarily good. There may be something in the extraction process of the ingredients. The herbal fragrance is fine though. The calming effect was reversed, causing skin irritation... Sensitive and problematic skin, but not really 'clean' ingredients. Looks like natural or organic extracts aren't always good either. The extraction process, like how olive oil is cold-pressed, seems important. It caused redness, burning, and small bumps. I bought 2 but I'm not using them now. Natural, organic, clean ingredients? There's a lot of distrust in cosmetic ingredients these days... The extraction method used is important. The companies supplying the extracted materials seem a bit questionable. Don't be fooled by claims of gentleness. Surprisingly, a lot of people have allergies to herbs. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 3, 2017
It really absorbs quickly. When I apply it, it doesn't feel heavy and it seems to soak in right away. Normally, oils still leave a residue even after some time, but this doesn't have that. Since I like herbal scents, I thought the fragrance was nice. I think it would have been good if it matched well, but when I apply it, little bumps come up. I wonder what ingredient doesn't agree with me. 😢 It was fine when I tested it on my neck, but when I applied it all over my face, a few started popping up. When I applied it in specific areas, one more appeared. 😄 - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJun 19, 2016
I'm not sure about the good points. I just bought something that was on sale, and the price was cheap. I looked up tea tree oil products and bought one because the reviews were good, but as soon as I used this, I broke out. It doesn't absorb well and just sits on the skin. I wasn't using it, so I ended up giving it to a friend because I didn't want it to go to waste. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 2, 2016
The fragrance was pleasant and made me feel healthier, but it was just a feeling and the actual results were completely different ㅠㅠ I not only had millet acne, but also swollen, lumpy bumps that were really frightening. At night, after washing and going to bed, it seemed a bit better the next day, so I kept using it, but then it became itchy, even more inflamed, and a complete mess. I stopped using it and went to a dermatologist, who said it was seborrheic dermatitis. This was the first time I had experienced something like this, and I couldn't believe it was happening to me. I trusted the good ingredients in the Witch Factory products and kept using them, which turned out to be my downfall. It seems the ingredients that are prohibited for sensitive skin were the culprit. Be careful. For reference, I used an extremely (!) small amount, divided over 3 weeks. Those with even the slightest skin sensitivity should absolutely stay far away!! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 2, 2016
My skin is dry+sensitive and I purchased it from a Wemakeprice deal. Other than the cheap purchase price, it's... ㅠㅠ Even though I didn't apply much, the next day my entire face was turned upside down. It turned bright red and wouldn't calm down... I should have looked into it when I noticed the strong scent. My eyes were swollen, so I went to the hospital today. The Hwahae Trial Reviewer line is kind of a life-saver, but it seems the herbs don't agree with me. I'll try to go to the hospital again tomorrow for an allergy check. Be careful, sensitive skin folks. I should have checked Hwahae earlier before buying. ㅂㄷㅂㄷ... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 8, 2016
The ingredients were good, and the reviews were also good. It was really great for the first 3 days... My dry skin became soft and supple, and my makeup applied well. But after 3 days, my skin flipped... I gave it to my sister, and she said her dry skin became smooth, so she seems to be using it well. After 3 days, the area around my eyes became swollen, itchy, and rough with flaky skin... I couldn't even wear makeup for over 2 weeks and just applied lotion. I don't know which ingredient didn't agree with me, but whenever I use this, the same thing happens... If you mix a drop of the lotion and use it, your skin becomes smooth and supple. It didn't work for me, but my sister says she's using it really well and loves it.
