The scent is refreshing and it absorbs well. For an oil, it's surprisingly light, making it more suitable for skin treatment rather than just moisturizing. It can be irritating for sensitive skin. I've used about 4 bottles of this product and have been quite satisfied with it. However, this winter my skin had an allergic reaction (not because of this product), and when I applied it to the affected areas, it stung and didn't soothe my skin as expected. It's likely to work well for acne-prone and oily skin types (but not for sensitive skin). It's great when mixed with your hydrating moisturizer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 18, 2017
Among the oils I've used, this one was the most soothing for my skin. It stung a bit at first, but as I continued using it, the irritation subsided. Those new to using this product may experience some skin irritation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 29, 2016
My skin is dry and prone to tightness, so my makeup starts to feel itchy and come off an hour after applying it. That's why I apply and absorb a product before doing my makeup. While there is a slight sheen at first, my makeup doesn't lift off and my skin doesn't get dried out, which I find really nice. I think the dry skin type benefits from this. I didn't really have any breakouts or issues, but there's a slight tingly feeling, maybe because it's a herbal product. I'm considering repurchasing the Witch's Factory oil, but I want to try a different oil instead of the herbal one. Some people say the scent is strong, so I recommend testing it out first before using it. For those with severe dry skin who find their makeup gets itchy and comes off easily, mixing in a drop or two of this before makeup application can be really helpful. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 1, 2016
It absorbs well without feeling greasy, giving a refreshing sensation that is easy to use. When applied lightly on the skin, it has a soothing effect. Tea tree oil can be a bit irritating, so I don't use it every day. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 26, 2016
I'm not sure, but the Nux oil is much better... Leaving the smell aside, the absorption is... The plastic container and the slow absorption... Not only does it not calm, but my skin turns red. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 2, 2016
My skin is dry+sensitive and I purchased it from a Wemakeprice deal. Other than the cheap purchase price, it's... ㅠㅠ Even though I didn't apply much, the next day my entire face was turned upside down. It turned bright red and wouldn't calm down... I should have looked into it when I noticed the strong scent. My eyes were swollen, so I went to the hospital today. The Hwahae Trial Reviewer line is kind of a life-saver, but it seems the herbs don't agree with me. I'll try to go to the hospital again tomorrow for an allergy check. Be careful, sensitive skin folks. I should have checked Hwahae earlier before buying. ㅂㄷㅂㄷ... - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMar 28, 2016
Oh no.. For moisturizing hair..? It's so itchy... The radiance was so good that I used it up, and they said this one is better for oily skin, but it's super itchy... I saw that the ingredients have a lot of irritants But I trusted it since it's a professional product I'll have to switch back to Radiance.. I'll use up the rest of this on my hair little by little.. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 14, 2016
It's really, really light and refreshing! This is the first time I've used an oil that's this lightweight. LOL I think I can use it without any issues even in the summer. It absorbs quickly too - 3 drops at night and 2 drops during the day is enough for my makeup to apply well without any residue. The tea tree scent is a bit strong. I personally love this kind of herbal fragrance, but if you're sensitive to scents, it might be a bit overpowering for you. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 15, 2015
The product was a bit ambiguous, but I'll write about the disappointing aspects. It works well for acne or inflammation - it calms things down. It feels gentler than The Body Shop products. For an oil product, it's lightweight and absorbs well! It's not immediately effective for blemishes and you need to use it for 3-4 days to see results. The scent is strong. Do you know what anti-pramin is? That's the scent it has. And while it's not irritating or stinging, on days when I use a lot, my whole face gets red. At night when I apply it generously, in the morning my forehead and cheeks are red! Somehow my skin seems to get irritated without my knowing. For sensitive skin, use only a small amount. It's better to apply it only on blemishes rather than all over. For sensitive skin, use only a small amount. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 30, 2015
It wasn't that great. I just used it casually, and it did make my skin turn red, but I just went with it. My acne didn't subside, and there must be some incompatible ingredient, as it just made my skin red... but it absorbs quickly. I used it for the second time, and the next day my skin became completely red, feverish, and itchy, so I went to the hospital and was told I had skin inflammation. I suffered for 3 days, applying and taking the medication. At the time, I didn't think it was because of this oil, but why did I use it again yesterday? I woke up from my sleep scratching my itchy, red face. I'm going crazy with the itchiness and redness. I'll have to go to the hospital again... I've learned that even if there are no bad ingredients, it can still not agree with my skin.
