The scent is truly herbal and pleasantly rich. Being an oil, it absorbs smoothly into the skin. Due to its oil-based nature, avoid applying too much. Stick to just the right amount for your skin, or it may lead to pilling and blemishes. For those with dry skin, try mixing a drop or two with your foundation or other products. This versatile approach could work well for you. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 25, 2018
I tried this oil again after the renewal since I liked it before. Even before opening the cap, you can smell the herbal scent - it's strong but not overpowering, which I enjoyed. It absorbs well into the skin without feeling too light. The packaging design is clean, and I used it both on its own and mixed with other products. I bought it during a big sale, which apparently was the last chance to get the pre-renewal version. It felt like saying goodbye, so I even took a picture! The quantity is a bit small compared to how much I tend to use, since it absorbs so nicely and leaves skin feeling fresh. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 21, 2018
The way it absorbs is fantastic. Despite being an oil, it's surprisingly lightweight, making it suitable even for someone with oily skin like me. And the fragrance? Absolutely delightful! There's not really anything to complain about. However, I didn't notice any significant effect on my blemishes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 28, 2018
The scent is lovely and it's wonderfully moisturizing. I'll definitely consider repurchasing once I've used it up consistently! I haven't found any drawbacks yet. I'll update if I notice anything after using it a bit more. When I carefully blend in two drops with my cream, my skin stays hydrated until morning. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 24, 2018
It has a cool, refreshing feel. The scent is absolutely delightful - like a rejuvenating aroma you'd experience while strolling through a botanical garden. While it didn't have a dramatic effect on calming blemishes, it was generally satisfactory. The effectiveness in soothing blemishes isn't as impressive as some of the five-star reviews suggest. Everyone's skin reacts differently, so what works for one person might not work for another. Still, I chose this product over similar ones from other brands, thinking Manyo Factory's might be better. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinMar 11, 2018
This is truly a product I adore. When my skin feels so dry it's like it's tearing, I apply this oil. It's hard to find another product that matches its moisturizing and soothing effects. I absolutely love the tea tree scent, so that's a given. I make sure to apply it every night before bed. The only downside is the amount... Is there a larger size available? If so, I'd love to slather it all over my body! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinFeb 2, 2018
Compared to other oils, this one is lighter and absorbs incredibly fast. It gives a truly refreshing sensation, and I could feel its soothing effect. The scent has an aromatherapy-like quality. After trying the sample, I immediately purchased the full-size product! The hydration aspect of this product is a bit lacking. It seems to soothe faster than it moisturizes. Everything else about it is satisfactory, though. Even when layering with other oils, there's absolutely no heaviness. It blends well with other oils too. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 22, 2018
For the final step of your skincare routine, apply a drop or two to your palm and smooth it over your face for a glossy, hydrated, and soft feeling. The scent is quite overpowering... I'm not usually sensitive to smells, but this one really makes me hold my breath for a moment! The tea tree scent is incredibly strong. But if you consider the high tea tree content, well... it's tolerable. Update to 3.2 star review: I've added an extra star. When mixed with aloe gel, it absorbs quickly without much oiliness. The next morning when I wash my face, it feels incredibly smooth and soft - the skin texture is completely revived! However, the ingredients seem a bit strong, so it might be better to use when you want to give your skin some extra care rather than daily. I bought this when my acne was at its worst, hoping to calm it down, but it seemed to make my breakouts even worse after applying it. To be honest, I've only used it about five times so I'm not entirely sure, but after getting small bumps like millet seeds on my forehead, I've been too scared to use it much. However, my skin has improved now, so I plan to try it again soon and update my review. The aloe gel I used before also seemed to cause breakouts at first, but now when I use it again, it's actually good. I think my skin just went through a rough patch for a while. Someone said if you mix it with aloe soothing gel, it becomes like a hydrating moisturizer, so I tried that... It doesn't mix well, but when applied to the face, it absorbs super well. Good stuff! Apparently, tea tree is good for menstrual cramps. They say it's beneficial to put a drop or two on your underwear. I didn't really notice much effect, but I don't usually have severe cramps to begin with. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJan 20, 2018
The scent is refreshing and it absorbs well. For an oil, it's surprisingly light, making it more suitable for skin treatment rather than just moisturizing. It can be irritating for sensitive skin. I've used about 4 bottles of this product and have been quite satisfied with it. However, this winter my skin had an allergic reaction (not because of this product), and when I applied it to the affected areas, it stung and didn't soothe my skin as expected. It's likely to work well for acne-prone and oily skin types (but not for sensitive skin). It's great when mixed with your hydrating moisturizer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinDec 27, 2017
I bought a cleansing oil and it came with samples, so I tried it out and immediately purchased it. At first, when I applied it, there was a tire-like smell, and I was like 'What is this, some kind of herb or tea tree oil @#$%&!!!?!!' but gradually my nose got used to it. I really love herbal scents and my whole house is filled with them, but this was a really shocking fragrance. However, now I'm very satisfied with the scent. ㅋㅋ I had several red spots like stamp marks on my right cheek that had been there for over a month and wouldn't go away. As I was using it, they started to itch and a pimple also appeared. On a hunch, I applied it after my basic skincare routine, and the pimple disappeared the next day, and the red spots have faded a lot after a week of using it. I did take photos of both sides, but they didn't really show up well, so I'm just uploading one side. ㅠㅜ The calming effect is definitely there, and I've also gotten used to the scent now, so I feel good when I apply it. The calming effect is quite good, but it was slightly lacking for my dry skin type. It might suit oily skin types better. I applied a small amount of cream multiple times before bed and a small amount of Vaseline on my lips and eye area, then finished with the oil as a moisture barrier. *I purchased a cleansing milk, cleansing oil, and face oil ampoule at the same time, so the 4 review photos are the same. I took the photos in the same location under the same fluorescent lighting, 10 minutes after cleansing and applying my basic skincare routine.
