My skin usually stings and breaks out when using new or incompatible products, but this one caused no irritation even on first use! Using this product cleared up the blemishes near my eyebrows, and it didn't cause any new breakouts! Unlike some products that drip when you squeeze them onto your face, this one doesn't run or drip at all! It absorbs well too! When it comes to skincare, strong or unpleasant scents can be a deal-breaker, but this product has a mild, inoffensive fragrance that I really like! The small container doesn't take up much space on my vanity and would be super convenient for travel! The price is quite steep, which is a real drawback. Even though I'd like to repurchase, the cost almost forces me not to. While you might expect this serum to clear up blemishes, I didn't see any dramatic effects. I'm not sure if it was because it coincided with my menstrual cycle, but I actually developed quite a few blemishes around my nasolabial folds, and the serum didn't seem to help. As someone who dislikes sticky textures, I initially applied toner, then serum, then moisturizer. This left my skin feeling a bit oily, so I tried applying toner twice, followed by two layers of serum. This method left my skin hydrated without any oiliness! If you dislike stickiness and oiliness, try applying the serum twice. Don't be stingy with the application - use a generous amount! When you apply plenty and let it absorb completely, you can feel the deep hydration all the way down to the inner layers of your skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 21, 2020
The absorption, texture, and scent are all excellent. The quantity is generous too. It's sold in packs of 10, but a single pack can last over 3 weeks. It's gentle on the skin - my super sensitive skin that usually reacts to new products handled this one just fine. The effectiveness is a bit unclear. It's supposed to improve redness and blemishes, but I'm not sure yet. I'll keep using it and come back to update my review later. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 21, 2020
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. First off, I loved that the 100ml was divided into 10 10ml portions. It felt more hygienic since you can open one at a time as needed. To really see the soothing effects, I kept my skincare routine very basic. I cleansed with Dokdo Skin, applied this ampoule, followed by Cynic The Simple Daily Emulsion, and finished with Make P:rem Safe Me Relief Moisture Cream. Before using this, my skin was acting up with lots of blemishes near my eyebrows, so I focused on that area. After about two weeks of use, the red blemishes had significantly calmed down. While it didn't seem to have much effect on small bumps, it does seem quite effective at soothing irritated skin. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the price? Though it seems worth buying when it's on sale. This isn't a very hydrating ampoule, so it's best to follow up with a product that can replenish moisture after using it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 21, 2020
The Hwahae Testers review here! I didn't think I'd win, but my skin went from smooth as a peeled egg to suddenly flaring up. This soothing ampoule came just when I needed it most, and I was so excited! *Skin Type* I tend to get blemishes around my mouth before my period, and recently, possibly due to a change in skincare products, I've developed a lot of tiny bumps on my cheeks and cheekbones. I have super sensitive combination dehydrated skin, and using incompatible cosmetics can lead to nodular acne. *Usage Review* I've been using it morning and night for over a week since receiving it. After 3+ days of use, the redness from extractions significantly reduced (though scars were unavoidable, sadly). The tiny bumps also seemed to subside a bit. I appreciated that the container is divided into 10 sections, which is great for hygiene. I found there were more downsides for me. The tiny bumps seemed to improve, but then started reappearing around my mouth - though this could be due to my menstrual cycle. After using it for nearly a week, I started developing nodular acne on my cheeks and had to get cortisone injections at the dermatologist. I'm not certain if this is due to the ampoule, so I plan to continue using it. Since I've had extractions and injections, I'll update my review if no new blemishes appear! Another downside is the price... I was quite shocked when I saw it. As someone who goes through skincare products quickly, it's a bit steep for me. Since it contains alcohol, it may be drying, so I recommend using it in combination with a hydrating moisturizer! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 21, 2020
As someone with extremely sensitive, acne-prone skin that usually reacts immediately with burning and irritation, I was pleasantly surprised that this product didn't cause any such symptoms! The individual small portions are great for hygiene and portability. I typically have combination dehydrated skin with deep dryness, so I keep my skincare routine simple with toner, hydrating cream or essence. Applying this after toner, I didn't experience any tightness. While it claims to help with blemish soothing, I haven't seen significant improvement (though this could be due to the short usage period). It hasn't made things worse either, so it's been rather unremarkable. There seems to be a slight oiliness after application. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 21, 2020
First off, I love that it comes in small 10ml sizes, making it super convenient for travel or to carry in my purse! Plus, it's great that I can use it fresh each time! But the real game-changer? Its soothing power is absolutely incredible! No joke, I had redness on my cheeks and my skin was going haywire due to the changing seasons. After using this for just about two days, the redness noticeably decreased. Even my mom acknowledged the improvement in my skin - it's a true holy grail product! I was so convinced this was going to be my holy grail that I went to buy it, but the price point was a bit steep, unfortunately. If you're dealing with super sensitive skin and lots of redness, give this a try! It's absolutely amazing! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 21, 2020
First, let me describe my skin type: I have combination dehydrated skin that's super prone to blemishes and very sensitive!! So I was always scared to try new products, but I decided to trust Dr. Mind and give it a shot. When I received this ampoule, my skin was in terrible condition due to folliculitis and other blemishes. I was so stressed out every day, it was unbearable. So I really put my all into using this ampoule. On the first day, I didn't notice much improvement in calming my skin, probably because it had only been 24 hours. But! On the morning of the second day, I looked in the mirror and was amazed to see that all those tiny bumps had seemingly disappeared overnight. Even the angry, inflamed spots had noticeably calmed down. The soothing effect is really impressive! Now, a little over a week later, my skin is almost completely clear with only a few visible blemishes remaining. Dr. Mind is the best! There was absolutely nothing bad about it, truly... Dr. Mind, thank you for giving me a new lease on life! At first, I applied it with my hands, but the texture is a bit sticky, you know! So I started using a face mask brush to apply it to my skin!! It goes on much more smoothly that way, and doesn't get all over your hands. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 21, 2020
I don't get many small blemishes, but I consistently get one or two large, inflamed pimples on my chin and cheeks about every 20 days. My skin is super sensitive, so I'm a skincare minimalist who only uses the gentlest products. I was really worried about trying this ampoule, but I thought, 'My skin's already acting up, so why not give it a shot?' After using an exfoliating toner, I applied it as a spot treatment, letting it absorb a bit. Then I layered essence, moisturizer, and another layer of the ampoule. When I woke up, I was surprised to see that the swelling had gone down slightly and the redness had faded. This gave me the confidence to keep using it consistently until I finished the bottle. After about a week of use, the bottle was empty. Now, my breakout has mostly subsided with just some residual redness. I love that it doesn't sting even when applied after extracting blemishes. If the effects last, I'd definitely consider repurchasing. The price is a bit steep, though. I think it's beneficial to apply it twice during your skincare routine.
