I have extremely sensitive skin prone to redness and blemishes. Even slight dietary changes can trigger breakouts, let alone cosmetics. When I first won this product and tried it after cleansing, I felt a strong tingling sensation. I thought it might be due to my skin's sensitivity, but the next day, my face was a mess. It was covered in tiny, red, allergy-like bumps that even makeup couldn't conceal. I had to stop using it and take medication for a few days to calm my skin. However, since I won this in an event, I felt obligated to give it a proper review. So after my skin settled, I decided to try again. This time, I applied it over my usual essence after toner, which significantly reduced the tingling. The next morning, my skin actually looked good! I've been using it for a few days now without any blemishes. While I still hesitate to use it directly after toner, it might work well for those with less sensitive skin. One positive is that it seems to control oil well, which could be great for those with oily skin. The packaging is hygienic, with small containers that prevent contamination. The texture is a slightly sticky pink essence that spreads easily. The application feel is not bad, but you may need to focus on hydration as it's quite a light formula. I'll update on its effectiveness for redness and blemishes after more use. While the individual packaging is nice, the container is a bit hard to squeeze. It's also difficult to gauge how much product is left, which is inconvenient. You can't tell if there's still product inside or not. Additionally, although it's marketed for sensitive skin, the tingling sensation when applied directly after cleansing makes me question if it's truly suitable for sensitive skin. Hopefully, not many people are as sensitive as I am. If you've purchased this product but experience irritation or blemishes, I recommend trying to apply it over another essence. It's not a cheap product, so for those who don't want to waste it, this method might help. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 16, 2020
1. The small individual packaging is hygienic and convenient to use. It's ideal to open a new ampoule every 10 days. 2. I appreciate that the ampoule contains madecassoside and Centella asiatica extract, which are great for blemishes. 3. It's rich in hydration, great for moisturizing. When patted in, it absorbs well without feeling sticky, leaving a fresh finish that's perfect for applying cream in the next step. 4. It's economical as you can use one ampoule at a time when blemishes occur. 5. With consistent use, I noticed my blemishes calmed down somewhat in just 3 days. In the photos, the second one shows before use, and the third one is after 3 days of application. In conclusion, I gave this ampoule 3 points. Here's why: 1. Perhaps my skin was super sensitive, but from the day after using this product, I noticed a significant increase in visible dead skin cells. I'm not sure if this is part of the process for calming blemishes, but I was shocked to see my skin flaking so much that it was difficult to apply sunscreen and makeup. Even after exfoliating, dead skin cells kept appearing, and eventually, my skin became irritated from frequent exfoliation. Please consider that this ampoule might not have suited my skin, or I might have been particularly sensitive due to my current breakout. 2. While I received this product as a Hwahae Tester, I would hesitate to pay for it given this level of effectiveness. Before using this product, I recommend thorough exfoliation before applying the ampoule. It seems better to apply a generous amount rather than using it sparingly.
