Even on sensitive skin prone to blemishes, enlarged pores, and dryness, it didn't cause any major irritation or itching! It seems to apply very lightly, which is great. For me, it didn't seem to have much effect on acne (especially small bumps and whiteheads). I was hoping for dramatic results considering the price, but even after extracting the bumps and applying it, I didn't see significant improvements. Looking at the photos, there doesn't seem to be much change, unfortunately. For dry skin, it might be beneficial to layer this with a hydrating essence for better results. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 21, 2020
I used this when my skin was already in good condition, so I didn't notice a huge impact from the product. What I liked about it was that it absorbs well and has a nice texture. I found it to be gentle on my skin. I didn't expect much in terms of hydration, but it's a lightweight serum that's easy to apply. Rather than providing deep hydration, it's more of a light moisturizer. Also, the small amount goes a long way, making it hygienic to use. The biggest drawback is definitely the price. Given how expensive it is, it might be a bit too much for some budgets. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 21, 2020
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers! My skin type is usually oily, but in winter it's closer to combination. I don't have severe acne, but I often get blemishes! I used this product from February 12th to 21st, a total of 9 days. Product features: - The texture is a light serum rather than a heavy one - It absorbs quickly and is nearly fragrance-free - It has a red tint but doesn't show color when applied - The box contains 10 vials of 10ml each, totaling 100ml What I liked: 1. The small individual bottles make it convenient to carry around 2. It's effective for skin soothing The product slogan emphasizes concentrated soothing, and it really delivers! This was the most satisfying aspect. I'm currently getting laser treatments for blemishes at a dermatologist, and despite moisturizing well, I always got small pimples and bumps due to dryness. After using this product, they significantly decreased! Usually, my face gets red after laser treatment, but during the week I used this ampoule, it didn't! This would be great for people with redness issues. 3. Acne soothing I even had my sister with severe acne try it! The redness around her acne faded, and it calmed down a lot! I'll attach before and after photos. 4. Reduced oiliness When applying the ampoule, less oil comes to the surface, and it leaves a smooth finish. My skin felt firm and supple. 5. Non-sticky and quick absorption It's not sticky and absorbs quickly, so there's no issue using it as a base before makeup - no pilling at all. This part is top-notch! Disappointing aspects: Too dry when used alone Despite its quick absorption and light texture, it's too dry to use by itself. You need to finish with another product. While it was effective in calming facial acne, it didn't prevent new breakouts. Also, it didn't have a dramatic effect on body blemishes - perhaps because body skin is thicker? During use, I was more satisfied with its skin-soothing effects than its acne-fighting properties. The price isn't exactly budget-friendly, which is unfortunate. While the 10ml divisions are convenient for carrying, larger volumes might be better. I'm not sure if it's really necessary to divide it into 10ml portions. After cleansing, I wiped my face with toner to help the ampoule absorb, then applied the product. The light texture allowed for multiple applications without pilling, and it absorbed quickly and well! I even mixed it with my moisturizer when applying. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 21, 2020
I have combination dehydrated skin, and this is a review from The Hwahae Testers!!! This product deserves nothing but praise! (The effects are amazing) 1. Absorption: Despite being an ampoule, it absorbs almost like water. Even though I have oily skin and usually get more blemishes when using ampoule-type products (even those for blemish care), this product felt like a lightweight essence that only provided hydration! 2. Color: Interestingly, it's red. Usually, these products are transparent or white, but this one is red. I think it must contain some ingredients that give it that red hue!! 3. Soothing: With my combination dehydrated skin, I get small bumps in dry areas and inflamed blemishes in oily areas. Especially during this changing season, my blemishes have been worse. But when I applied this at night, by morning the small bumps were gone! The inflamed blemishes took a bit longer, but!!!! Applying this after extracting a blemish really helped soothe the skin! 4. Hygiene: It's not a dropper type or a product you need to scoop out, but comes in a small container. I used it twice a day. It's a product you use up quickly and discard, so it seems very hygienic. It's also small, making it convenient for travel or overnight stays!!! 5. Skin texture: It was amazing for improving skin texture. My skin had been so blotchy that I hated looking in the mirror lately, but with its great soothing effect, it really improved my skin texture. My skin looks clearer too!!!! The price, of course haha. As far as I know, it's about 100,000 won per container. I received it as part of The Hwahae Testers, but if I had to buy it myself, well... hmm. It's really great except for the price. Also, it's a hydrating product. If you only use this during the changing seasons, your skin might feel dry. So make sure to follow up with a moisturizing cream or emulsion. This isn't exactly a pro tip, but after using this product, I recommend using a sensitive skin cream rather than a blemish-specific one!! Using too many blemish products in a row might irritate your skin, even if they're good for soothing. I'm using The SAEM Derma Enriched Balm (blue lid), which is gentle enough for babies. It's specifically for sensitive and damaged skin, so if you're unsure about which cream to use, I recommend trying this one too! Using them together, I found the soothing effect was even faster! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 21, 2020
I loved how it applies well even with a small amount, feels lightweight, and absorbs quickly, giving an instant hydration with a refreshing and crisp sensation. Usually, when you think of ampoules, they often have a strong viscosity and slow absorption, but this one absorbs lightly without causing makeup to pill. Another advantage is that the 10ml products come individually packaged in a box of 10, allowing for hygienic use. While it may vary slightly for each user, when used generously morning and evening, one 10ml bottle can last about 5 days to a week. The biggest benefit I noticed after using it for over 2 weeks was its effectiveness in quick wound healing after acne extraction and calming allergies that cause itching, which was fantastic. Although it quickly moisturizes after application, it's disappointing that the hydration doesn't last very long. While the individual packaging allows for hygienic use, which is an advantage, I think a drawback is the increased amount of waste it produces. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 17, 2020
Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin with oily T-zone, dry U-zone, and sensitivity Application: It's a highly concentrated, transparent red-tinted ampoule with a rich texture. Despite its concentration, it feels lightweight with minimal stickiness and almost no residue. Being slightly acidic, it should suit sensitive skin well. Absorption: Unlike typical concentrated ampoules that can be sticky and slow to absorb, the Red Pot EX ampoule absorbs quickly. Hydration: While it provides some moisture for combination dehydrated skin, I find it's not quite enough for my skin type, so I layer it with other hydrating products. It's a gentle product that should suit most skin types, but results may vary. Even with my super sensitive skin, it works well for me. I was surprised by the small, eye-drop-like size, but given its concentration, I thought it would be sufficient. There's not much to complain about, though it could be a bit more hydrating. My skin is prone to frequent blemishes, and while I noticed one or two appear when I first started using it, they quickly subsided. My skin is extremely sensitive and usually reacts to new products, but with Red Pot EX, I can use it without worry. After cleansing, I smooth out my skin texture, then apply Red Pot EX in two or three layers. Instead of patting quickly, I gently press it into my skin using the warmth of my palms. Since it's not quite hydrating enough on its own, I follow up with additional moisturizing products, which works great. My complexion seems much clearer, and there's a noticeable difference between when I use this product and when I don't. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 12, 2020
I'm hesitant to give even one star... If you have super sensitive skin, please do your research before buying this. The only positive thing I can mention, if I really have to, is that the formula is lightweight. It absorbs quickly without feeling heavy or suffocating on the skin. The first photo shows my current skin condition - forehead blemishes that had almost disappeared have now gone crazy and reappeared... My skin was perfectly fine just this morning. 1. As soon as I used this, an enormous amount of blemishes popped up... I received the package today and used it twice, and with just those two applications, my skin has gone absolutely haywire... I truly wish I could go back to the moment before I ordered this, or even used it... Recently, I've been cutting back on makeup and focusing on skincare, and people were telling me how my skin had improved and my blemishes had almost disappeared. Now, my entire face is red and inflamed, with blemishes erupting all over my cheeks, nose, and forehead... I never want to use this again. I'm not comfortable taking a photo of throwing it in the trash, but I'm tossing it after just two uses of one bottle... I'm never using it again. I don't know if it's because I have sensitive skin, but I can't believe how my skin has completely turned on me. I've been on the verge of tears several times while using this... 2. It's also way too expensive... Even though I'm part of The Hwahae Testers, the thought of paying $100 for an explosion of blemishes makes me want to cry... It's such a small amount for $100, it seems ridiculously overpriced. This is the first time I've written a review with so many negatives, but seriously, those with sensitive skin, please be careful... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 10, 2019
The texture absorbs well, with a light consistency and slight tackiness that prevents it from running. I love that I can pack individual sachets when traveling. The downside is that I'm not sure if it's due to this product or something else, but since I started using it, I've had a sudden outbreak of blemishes. Just to be safe, I've stopped using it since yesterday. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 3, 2019
I've been using this for a little over two months, and with consistent use, the results became clearly visible. Of course, it's unrealistic to expect immediate effects after just one use, but even after a week of regular application, I started noticing subtle improvements. It's lightweight and not too oily, making it perfect for easy application. The fluid texture is ideal for someone like me who dislikes heavy products. I've tried many products claiming to be good for blemishes, but this one easily ranks in my top 3. The packaging, with ten 10ml bottles, is also great from a hygiene perspective. I've recommended it to friends struggling with blemishes, and I'm 100% going to repurchase it myself! The only downside is the price... One purchase lasts about a month, which can be a bit burdensome for a high school student like me to buy every month. However, when I think about how effective it is, I find myself buying it again and again! Usually, I apply it with a cotton pad, but when my blemishes are particularly bad, I use it as a skin pack for even better results!
