My skin usually stings and breaks out when using new or incompatible products, but this one caused no irritation even on first use! Using this product cleared up the blemishes near my eyebrows, and it didn't cause any new breakouts! Unlike some products that drip when you squeeze them onto your face, this one doesn't run or drip at all! It absorbs well too! When it comes to skincare, strong or unpleasant scents can be a deal-breaker, but this product has a mild, inoffensive fragrance that I really like! The small container doesn't take up much space on my vanity and would be super convenient for travel! The price is quite steep, which is a real drawback. Even though I'd like to repurchase, the cost almost forces me not to. While you might expect this serum to clear up blemishes, I didn't see any dramatic effects. I'm not sure if it was because it coincided with my menstrual cycle, but I actually developed quite a few blemishes around my nasolabial folds, and the serum didn't seem to help. As someone who dislikes sticky textures, I initially applied toner, then serum, then moisturizer. This left my skin feeling a bit oily, so I tried applying toner twice, followed by two layers of serum. This method left my skin hydrated without any oiliness! If you dislike stickiness and oiliness, try applying the serum twice. Don't be stingy with the application - use a generous amount! When you apply plenty and let it absorb completely, you can feel the deep hydration all the way down to the inner layers of your skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 21, 2020
#Review from The Hwahae Testers# I started using this product after my acne had significantly reduced due to dermatological medication. While I can't say there were dramatic effects, I did notice a slight decrease in the remaining small blemishes. It seemed to quickly calm sensitive areas when applied! Regarding the texture, I was satisfied with how smoothly it applied and how it left my skin feeling fresh without any stickiness afterwards. Overall, I was pleased with the user experience, but I'm a bit hesitant about purchasing it regularly due to its price point. There aren't any particular downsides! If I had to mention something... it would be the price range? Since the full-size product is quite expensive, I'm not sure if I'll end up buying it for regular use... In my case, I apply this product right after toner and before serum. Due to its matte finish, it can sometimes cause a bit of flaking in certain areas. So, I recommend using it along with a hydrating serum! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 21, 2020
I used this when my skin was already in good condition, so I didn't notice a huge impact from the product. What I liked about it was that it absorbs well and has a nice texture. I found it to be gentle on my skin. I didn't expect much in terms of hydration, but it's a lightweight serum that's easy to apply. Rather than providing deep hydration, it's more of a light moisturizer. Also, the small amount goes a long way, making it hygienic to use. The biggest drawback is definitely the price. Given how expensive it is, it might be a bit too much for some budgets. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 21, 2020
My skin type is combination (dry on cheeks, oily T-zone) + sensitive + combination dehydrated skin. 1. It's not a dropper type, but designed to be squeezed like eye drops. Plus, it's divided into 10ml portions, so there's no worry about contamination. 2. Both absorption and application are great. The texture looks watery but doesn't just run like water, nor is it oily. It applies lightly like a toner, and absorbs incredibly fast - a few rubs and it's gone. 3. The M brand ampoule I used before left a sticky feeling, making makeup application difficult. However, the Red Pot Ampoule finishes with a powdery feel, making it comfortable for makeup application. 4. The scent might be divisive, but personally, I found it okay. Even though it's a fragrance I usually dislike, it dissipates quickly, making it easy to use. 5. It claims to soothe the skin, and it certainly seems effective. My skin is usually heavily influenced by hormones, lifestyle, diet, and skincare products. Considering my recent chaotic lifestyle and being a week before my period, my skin was remarkably calm. It doesn't seem to maintain hydration well. My oily-skinned sister uses only the same toner as me, but when using just this ampoule, she said her skin felt dry. Even with my combination skin, the moisturizing effect doesn't last more than 5 minutes after applying toner and ampoule. Even with emulsion on top, my face feels tight after 1-2 hours. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 21, 2020
The Hwahae Testers Review: 1. The most hydrating salicylic acid serum for blemishes I've ever used. 2. Comes in a 10ml size, allowing for hygienic use. 3. Smooth texture that doesn't pill even when layered two or three times. 4. Consistency between watery and gel-like, making it easy to apply. 5. Noticeably helps reduce redness. 6. Perfect for use before makeup application. 1. Didn't see dramatic results in 7-10 days. Might be better with consistent use for over 2 weeks! After 8 days, it somewhat reduced redness, but didn't seem to affect small blemishes. It did help with acne scars around the mouth area. However, my skin wasn't in terrible condition to begin with. 2. Used a morning and night routine of thick hyaluronic acid toner - Red Serum - ceramide cream. For my combination skin with oily T-zone, it felt slightly lacking in oil-moisture balance for night care. No problem when layered twice. Dry skin types should take note! I stopped using my LED mask for these 8 days to assess the serum's effectiveness on its own. However, I can already tell they'd work well together. - Recommended for those who use galvanic or LED devices. - Depending on your skin condition, applying two layers for night care should provide enough hydration without feeling lacking. - It has a unique antiseptic or medicinal scent. This is the first time I've praised a product that doesn't dry completely - impressive! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 21, 2020
- Conveniently divided into 10 small portions. The set of 10 small-sized ampoules was so handy. Perfect for travel, light to carry, and small enough to slip into your makeup pouch. What I loved most was being able to use a fresh, unexposed product each time I opened a new one! - Absorbs well. As someone with oily skin who doesn't like sticky products, I was relieved that this ampoule applied smoothly without any stickiness, leaving my skin feeling hydrated. It absorbs well, making it great to use before applying makeup in the morning! - Didn't cause any blemishes. Lately, I've been getting a lot of blemishes where my mask touches my face. I applied this product twice a day, morning and night, and it not only prevented new blemishes but also helped calm existing ones. My blemishes have significantly reduced, though I'm not sure if it's due to this ampoule or because I've been wearing masks less frequently lately. - Contains many beneficial ingredients. Checking the official website, I found it's packed with soothing ingredients like Centella Asiatica extract, panthenol, tea tree leaf extract, and Houttuynia Cordata extract. It's an ampoule I'd like to keep using consistently. I saw on the official website that it costs around 49,000 won, but I haven't seen results that justify the price yet! While it seems to have calmed my blemishes, I haven't noticed much improvement in my skin barrier. Also, the product description page showed a graph indicating reduced oil production, so I had high hopes for oil control. However, if anything, my skin's oiliness has increased rather than decreased. Due to its good absorption, I applied it first after cleansing. Since I haven't used it for long, I'll need to continue using it to see its full effects. With 10 ampoules in the set, if the price is a concern, it might be a good idea to split it with a friend. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 21, 2020
I loved how it applies well even with a small amount, feels lightweight, and absorbs quickly, giving an instant hydration with a refreshing and crisp sensation. Usually, when you think of ampoules, they often have a strong viscosity and slow absorption, but this one absorbs lightly without causing makeup to pill. Another advantage is that the 10ml products come individually packaged in a box of 10, allowing for hygienic use. While it may vary slightly for each user, when used generously morning and evening, one 10ml bottle can last about 5 days to a week. The biggest benefit I noticed after using it for over 2 weeks was its effectiveness in quick wound healing after acne extraction and calming allergies that cause itching, which was fantastic. Although it quickly moisturizes after application, it's disappointing that the hydration doesn't last very long. While the individual packaging allows for hygienic use, which is an advantage, I think a drawback is the increased amount of waste it produces. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 20, 2020
As a member of The Hwahae Testers, I'm thrilled to share my experience. The standout feature was the ingredient list - it felt packed with skin-loving components. I was also pleased to see no harmful ingredients. The packaging, with ten small eye-drop-like containers, seemed hygienic and convenient for single-use. The texture was like a viscous essence that applied smoothly and absorbed quickly, leaving a nice finish. After using it for a few days, I didn't notice any blemishes, and my complexion seemed brighter - I wondered if it was thanks to this ampoule. I applied it twice daily for about a week. If the alcohol content were removed, I'd definitely consider continued use. The one downside, unfortunately, was that despite loving the container design, texture, and unscented formula, possibly due to the alcohol content, my skin felt drier after application than before. It gave a tightening sensation as it absorbed, leaving my skin feeling dehydrated. I found I had to follow up with my regular moisturizer to prevent deep dryness. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 20, 2020
To be honest, as someone with super sensitive skin, I'd advise fellow sensitive skin types to check the ingredients carefully. The photo is mine. When first applied, it felt moisturizing, but after absorption, my skin felt a bit dry. Unfortunately, I developed redness the next day, so I gave it to my mom. She has combination skin and absolutely loves it! She says it improved her complexion and even reduced the appearance of her pores. Must be the good ingredients! It's not sticky and absorbs well. For those with sensitive skin, no matter how good the ingredients are, always double-check before use. Also, the container lid is a bit inconvenient. It was a struggle to open! Apply this after your toner. Use it like a serum or essence, allowing it to absorb fully. For dry skin types, I recommend following up with a moisturizer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 19, 2020
The Hwahae Testers review! These come in tiny 10ml portions, like miniature eye drop bottles, making them perfect for travel, gym, or spa basic skincare. So convenient! The texture is just right - not too runny or heavy. It absorbs well, which I really appreciate. I'm not a fan of thick products for winter skincare, so this feels great to use. I didn't experience any blemishes from it. I'm curious to see if it helps with existing skin issues, so I'll update my review if I notice any changes when using it during my sensitive pre-menstrual days! It seems a bit pricey... While I'm grateful for the free sample this time, I'm not sure if it's worth the full price without a sale. That's why I deducted one star! (Of course, if it effectively addresses my main concern - hormonal blemishes - it might be worth the investment...) It absorbs so quickly that layering works well. For my dry U-zone, I applied an extra layer or two before my moisturizer to boost hydration. Some reviews mention reactions, so patch test on sensitive skin first before full application.
