This is a Hwahae Trial Reviewer review. First of all, the tone-up function was definite. I used to only use BB creams, but when I used the tone-up, my complexion definitely became brighter. And due to the smooth application, at first I felt it might be too bright, but after applying and waiting about 30 minutes, along with the warmth of my face, it gave a natural feel. Lastly, the long-lasting effect is quite good - if I apply it in the morning and go out, the effect lasts until the evening.

This is a review from the Hwahae Trial Reviewer! Previously, I've tried other brands of toning creams, but they would leave a sticky feeling even after just a light application. However, the DTRT Spotlight did not have that issue at all, and it effectively brightened my skin tone. Plus, it did not dry out my skin.

This is a Hwahae Trial Reviewer review. 1. The DTRT tone-up cream Spotlight does not cake or slide off when using BB or cushion foundations afterwards (great adhesion). 2. It can be applied to the neck to conceal the facial boundary well. 3. It definitely does a good job of covering redness. (Redness coverage) 4. If not applied all over the face, the tone-up effect looks natural, even if the shade is a bit too dark.
Cons

The packaging is lovely! It looks so neat that I can just leave it on my vanity when I'm done using it! The tone-up effect is very natural. My radiant complexion was maintained from the moment I left for work until I got home. I felt great every time I looked in the mirror. I wipe it off completely in the morning and before cleansing in the evening. Since it doesn't seem to be a heavy product, I didn't experience any particular troubles while applying the cream.
Cons
The reddish blemish marks don't seem to be covered very well. It's different from a concealer. I was too hesitant to apply it this morning because I was sweating profusely... The white water dripping down my face is only noticeable when I'm cleansing, though.

Definitive. As the name suggests, the tone-up is definitive. I have very severe facial flushing, but the unevenness was somewhat covered up! If you apply foundation or cushion over the cream, you won't need a separate concealer to look flawless! 2. Spreadability? Weight? Although it's a makeup base, since it's a cream, I thought it would be very heavy, but not really.. The spreadability wasn't too sticky either. It melts well with body temperature and spreads widely.. It's obvious, but I liked it! 3. Affinity with skin(?) I have an oily T-zone and a dry U-zone (a bit more extreme than others.. especially the oil..) So I was worried that it might dry out on my cheeks and not stick, or that it might just slide off my nose and forehead due to the oil.. I didn't want to imagine sweating while taking graduation photos outside in the heat.. But it turned out better than I expected! The tone-up cream + cushion + powder managed to maintain its shape for quite a long time! I was satisfied!

However, the DTR Tone-Up Cream applies smoothly like a regular lotion, without any clumping, and leaves a thin, natural-looking layer on the skin.
