It didn't clump up, and the skin tone seemed just right for a man to use, so I was satisfied with it.
ConsThe spotlight ingredients in the tone-up cream didn't seem to agree with my skin, so at first, I had a lot of breakouts. But as I kept using it carefully, the breakouts gradually subsided, and I'm now using and satisfied with it.
TipI used to apply the ampoule product first, but then the application became less smooth, so now I skip the ampoule when doing my basic skincare routine.

The BB cream would clump up or apply too thickly, leaving my skin feeling stuffy. However, the DTR Tone-Up Cream applies smoothly like a regular lotion, without any clumping, and leaves a thin, natural-looking layer on the skin. I also liked that it brightens my skin tone without needing to adjust the application. When I wear sunscreen, it doesn't leave a white cast, but instead makes my skin look brighter. It truly gives me a 'spotlight' effect, as the name suggests. And even when I sweat or get wet, it doesn't leave any white streaks - the coverage lasts well. Lastly, it rinses off cleanly with my foam cleanser.
ConsI wouldn't recommend this for people with a lot of flakiness or large pores. There's a noticeable difference in how it applies on the back of the hand versus directly on the face. The hand is relatively smoother, so it applies more evenly, but on the face, it can emphasize pores or facial hair. It also feels a bit tedious to apply sunscreen and then the tone-up cream on top. It ends up feeling just as stuffy as wearing BB cream alone.

I tried the tone-up cream for the first time. 1. The application is better than expected. While applying, it feels moisturizing without clumping, and it spreads well across the entire face, which I liked. 2. As this is my first time using a tone-up cream, it's difficult to compare it to other products, but when I applied it thinly and also used sunscreen, I didn't feel it was overly heavy. 3. The packaging is very pretty. I really like the simple design.
Cons1. If I had to point out something I didn't like, it would be that the cream is quite dark, and when the tone-up effect kicks in, it becomes quite stark white, so the tone-up effect was very noticeable. For those who consider themselves a bit more on the tan side, applying it thinly should work well. 2. Applying the tone-up cream and then the sunscreen on top feels a bit cumbersome. And with the sunscreen's white cast, the tone-up (?) effect gets enhanced, so I feel like I need to reapply it a few hours later.
