My husband was a bit awkward about the capsules in the tone-up cream.

The good spreadability might be the reason, but when I wipe my mouth or blow my nose, the area around my mouth and nose gets wiped off, leaving just the center dark. After using it, I have to be careful about that. I usually remove sunscreen with cleansing oil, so I also cleansed the DTRT color-correcting cream with cleansing oil and then a second cleanse with a foam cleanser, and it washed off well, which is both a pro and a con - it's good that it doesn't cause trouble with breakouts, but it also means it can be easily wiped off.

I have combination acne-prone skin in my 20s.
The whiteheads and inflammatory acne won't go away, and it just keeps repeating between good and bad days, so I've been perceived as someone with a lot of acne since I was 13 years old. 
These days, more men are starting to wear makeup, so I've been thinking about trying it too, but I'm worried it might make my skin worse, so I've just been diligently applying skincare and sunscreen. First of all, I liked that the ingredients were gentle, so even though I have acne-prone skin, it wasn't burdensome. I still can't control the amount well, and the whole idea of color-correcting is still unfamiliar to me, so I thought it looked a bit too pale on me, but people around me said it looked fine. After applying sunscreen, I've been layering the color-correcting cream on my face and neck to even out the tone.

Texture
It has a slightly matte feel, but it spreads smoothly on the skin. The matte finish made me worried it might look cakey on my oily skin, but it didn't slide off or feel too greasy over time, which was good.

Overall
I think this color-correcting cream would be a good option for those who find makeup burdensome or want a bit more color-correcting than just sunscreen, as well as first-time users of color-correcting products.

1. No Sunscreen Function
It's a bit disappointing that although it's a whitening cream, the sunscreen function is lacking. If you have to apply sunscreen separately after using this, it becomes too heavy, and there's no point in just using the whitening cream.

I asked my husband to use it and let me know the review, 
so the review is a bit late 😭😭

First of all, my husband originally had combination skin, but it has been getting drier and drier lately, 
and these days it's almost dry skin...
The product was slightly more watery in texture than I had expected, but my husband said it wasn't too heavy for him to use..
The brightness also matched well with my husband's skin tone, so he liked it..
However, since he has a slightly problematic skin, it was a bit red after washing at first, but it got better after using it for a few days...
The packaging is also pretty, and the scent, our couple has a bit of an old-fashioned style, a slightly refreshing scent?! so it was okay~~ We dislike heavy scents ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

 If it's too white?
This was my first time using a tone-up cream, and I prefer a natural makeup look. So when I first used it, it was too white and the difference in tone with my neck was a problem, which I struggled with several times. This is the method I chose to use it more naturally.
1-1. Mix with cream.
If you apply it all over your face and neck for an overall tone-up, it's fine, but if you, like me, prefer a slightly more transparent and clear look, mix it with the last skincare product you use before applying. I mix the tone-up cream and my moisturizer in a 2:1 ratio, then finish with sunscreen. This allows for a more natural expression. You can also apply this to your body.
1-2. Use as a highlighter.
You don't necessarily need to apply it all over. Highlight only the areas you want, such as the forehead, nose bridge, and chin. It looks much more natural and like your own skin than using a separate highlighter product. It's also fine to apply it all over first, then add an extra layer to the areas you want to highlight.

2. Reviving a wrongly purchased base makeup product.
If your skin has tanned in the summer, your preferences have changed, or you just happened to choose the wrong shade, and you have a base makeup that's darker than your skin tone that you can't use, try mixing it with a tone-up cream. It may take several tries and failures to match your skin tone, but who cares? You can revive a product you were about to throw away in your vanity!

 1. Stuffy feeling.
I felt a stuffy feeling as if a film had been placed on my skin. 
I expected it to function as a makeup base or primer between skincare and makeup, but it failed to bridge the two steps and instead gave me a stuffy, obstructive feeling.

2. Clumping.
This is related to the stuffy feeling mentioned in the first point. The product has a texture that feels quite oily when applied to the skin. Rather than spreading evenly, it tends to clump up and feels gritty. While this wasn't a major concern and I didn't obsess over it, the clumping sensation was still disappointing. This doesn't mean it gave a natural, luminous or oily appearance when blended with the base makeup.

3. Too white.
It gives more of a whitening effect than a tone-up effect. It literally just makes the skin look whiter, rather than enhancing the natural tone. I was able to compensate for this issue to some extent through usage, but I wish the product had a pink or yellow-toned color instead, as that would have been easier to work with. I'll provide some tips on how to address this downside below.

4. Price.
There are many other tone-up creams available on the market. I don't particularly recommend this one considering the price.

 1. In winter rather than summer.
While tone-up creams are typically more suitable for use in the summer when the skin is more exposed, this product is a bit different.
It has a fairly oily feel and gives a sense of a protective layer on the skin, which may be a love-it-or-hate-it experience. However, it is still a product that can be highly recommended for dry skin in the winter. Since each user has different preferences for formulations and skin types, it is recommended to test it first before purchasing.

2. A new proposal for men.
When looking at the gender breakdown of tone-up cream users, women are likely to be the overwhelming majority. I am fully aware that many men these days are showing interest in cosmetics, and it is no longer seen as strange. However, I have encountered situations where the burden of "just doing it a little more naturally" was not fully considering the skills and selection methods of men using cosmetics.
