However, since the absorption is good, I think it would be great to use as a toner pack by soaking a thin cotton pad with it.
ConsThe only downside is that the regular price seems a bit expensive to purchase. However, I'm satisfied with the user experience, so I would consider repurchasing it. Also, having to shake it every time before use is more inconvenient than I expected! There were times when I forgot to shake it, and the application and overall experience were noticeably worse then. And the packaging is not very user-friendly. It's awkward to dispense the product, and it tends to splash out to the sides, causing more product to be wasted.
TipThis toner is not really meant to be used with cotton pads. It has more of a skin-like feel, so I've been decanting it into a small mist bottle and keeping it in the bathroom. After cleansing, I shake it up and mist it directly onto my face, then gently pat it in. It's great for hydration!

I have oily, adult acne-prone, sensitive skin. But recently, it seems like my skin has become drier, possibly due to dermatological medication. 1. I felt that this product is quite oily. So, in the current winter season, it's important to protect the skin barrier without damaging it. Since this product has passed the mild irritation test, I think it's effective in protecting and moisturizing the skin barrier. The reason is that when I actually use it, it feels very moisturizing and oily, and it doesn't dry out quickly. My acne, which used to be quite red, has significantly reduced in redness after using it for about a week. 2. I felt that it's gentle because it uses rice or other natural ingredients. It's not easy to wash your face with rice water, but it's great that they've made it into a product. I was skeptical about its soothing effect, but after using it for more than a week, the redness of my comedonal acne and inflammatory acne has subsided a lot. (Even if it's just for acne, I'll keep using it if it works.)
Cons1. The fact that I have to shake it is inconvenient. If I don't shake it, only the lotion or toner comes out, as the water and oil separate. But I think I have to accept this, as it's necessary to maintain the balance. 2. I'm not sure how to apply this. It's a water-based formula, so it tends to run down. If I apply it directly to my face, it drips off my hands, and if I try to apply it with a cotton pad, the lotion gets absorbed and doesn't seem to be applied to the skin. (I'm worried about damaging my skin barrier if I rub it in too hard, and since I have acne-prone skin, I can't afford any irritation๐ญ) So the method I've come up with is to mix this product with the lotion I already have (which also has a bit of runny-ness - the Cyanick lotion) and then apply it, which makes it a nice fluid-solid consistency and easier to apply!
TipIf you put the lotion you have and this product in your hand and mix them, it becomes easier to apply. The third image attached is a photo of me trying to mix them.

Since I had a lot of skin troubles, I was worried that the oil ingredients might worsen the condition. However, even though I have oily and sensitive skin, my skin was severely dehydrated, so I tried it out. Compared to other products, the dryness immediately disappears as soon as I apply it. After using it at night and waking up, my skin felt so transparent and bright, probably due to the rice ingredient. After using it consistently for about 3 weeks, my skin has become more transparent and brighter. It helps control the moisture-oil balance, so severe breakouts and bumps haven't come up. I think the oil ingredients are helpful when the skin is severely dehydrated, even for oily and sensitive skin types. The formula is very watery and takes a bit of time to absorb. I pat it in for about a minute and then apply a cream on top. Doing this makes my skin feel protected and moisturized. I recommend this as a great moisturizing product for the fall and winter seasons! A little goes a long way, so it's very cost-effective. I've used it for 3 weeks, but I've only used about 1/4 of the product. The scent is mild and almost unscented. I recommend this to those whose moisture-oil balance is disrupted.
ConsPossibly due to the oil ingredients, my skin feels slippery and oily after using it. The watery formula also means that even a small amount can easily spread and run down my face.

This is Taengโก, who was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer for the Haeyo Jin Rice Phila Oil Toner. I will honestly share my thoughts on the product after using it daily for about a week, as much as the pores shown in the photos. First of all, as you can see, I have a combination skin type that experiences both oiliness and dryness. During my school days, I didn't listen to my mom's advice and followed my friends, squeezing the non-existent sebum on my skin, which made my pores overly enlarged and my skin hypersensitive. Moreover, since I have atopic and keloid-prone skin, I've been trying to live in accordance with my skin condition as an adult..haha For someone like me, oil-based products have always been a challenge. If they work well, it's usually fine, but if they don't, I have to go straight to the dermatologist ใ ใ That's why I've been trying to avoid oils as much as possible, but last month, I felt an unusual severe internal dryness, and no matter what I applied, my skin felt too taut and constricted, so I decided to purchase an oil product. I bought a lightweight oil, thinking a heavy one might burden my skin, but it didn't solve the internal dryness problem.. After applying the oil, the surface looked glowy, but the inner feeling of my skin was still like a parched land. That's when I came across this product, and to be honest, I started using it without high expectations. Since I had already used oils, I thought, "What effect could an oil-infused toner have?" and began using it without much anticipation. I shook the clean, round-shaped toner bottle to mix the contents, then scooped some onto my hand. The texture was much more watery than I expected, and I was surprised, thinking, "Is this really an oil-infused product?" In the past, I had used other brands' toners that combined oils, but those had a rich, oily texture. (However, they only left me with troubles and then left.) Unlike those products, this one felt very clear and lightweight, more like a regular toner than an oil, which allowed me to use it comfortably throughout the week. The good application can be seen from the fact that I kept reaching for it consistently. This product has the right fluidity to envelop the skin as you apply it, and the light, refreshing scent makes it a pleasure to use. It's not burdensome to apply it by soaking a cotton pad, as there is no sticky, oily feeling characteristic of oils. The watery texture also allows it to absorb into the skin without feeling heavy. In fact, toners are the first skincare product to touch the skin, so if they are too thick or heavy from the start, it can be burdensome to move on to the next step.. I usually use toners as a cleansing step, so I prefer lightweight products that are easy to apply with a cotton pad. Since I don't use a lot of skincare products, I consider the overall balance of the products that touch my skin to be important. But this product, despite containing oil, absorbs quickly and doesn't feel heavy at all, allowing me to use it comfortably. I think the moisturizing power is one of the biggest strengths of this product. As I mentioned earlier, I was struggling with internal dryness. On the first day of using this product, I was still disappointed by the persistent internal dryness. On the second day, the internal dryness was still there, but I decided to wait since it had only been two days. On the third day, it was still dry. I resigned myself, thinking, "Ah, this isn't it. It's just dry... I'll write the review." On the fourth day, I was busy and tired, so I didn't even have time to think about it. On the fifth day! Huh? What's this? Why am I not feeling dry? From the fifth day onwards, the internal dryness suddenly disappeared. It was so surprising, as nothing had changed in my skincare, diet, or environment. And up until today, I can confidently say that the feeling of internal dryness has significantly reduced. On days when my skin condition is not great, I may still feel a slight dryness, but normally, I don't notice it at all.. Can a toner really do this? If you have sensitive, dry skin that becomes more problematic during seasonal changes, give this a try. And for those of you who are afraid of or burdened by using oils, try this as well. I highly recommend it!! The 150ml size and 35,000 won price tag are not exactly cheap, but if you're looking for a toner that can reduce dryness and allow you to use it comfortably and refreshingly, I would recommend this product. I also didn't experience any breakouts while using it, and I didn't have to actively seek it out to use it. Since it's so comfortable on the skin, I naturally reach for it first. It's just so good.
ConsThis product doesn't seem to have any particularly troublesome features for the skin. However, I have to say one thing - the price? It's expensive ๐ข I really want to spread the word about this great product, but the entry barrier is quite high ๐ข Ah! And one more thing, the packaging of this clear product is rather plain compared to the formula. It's difficult to neatly dispense the product, and I'm always anxious that it will drip down the sides during use.
TipThe key tip for this product is time! After showering, apply it within 10 seconds! After washing your face, apply it within 10 seconds! Apply it as quickly as possible. This way, the absorption will be better and the moisturizing effect will be enhanced. So I first apply the toner right after washing, then do the other things (like drying my hair or applying body lotion) before applying the other skincare products. It may seem like a small thing, but you can feel the difference the timing makes.

The rare rice bran extract and rice bran oil ingredients were refreshing. As a product focused on hydration, it gave me high expectations, and it turned out to be a customized toner that eliminated the hassle for me, who usually mixes a facial oil with a regular toner. From this time of year until the spring after the next winter, my cheeks and lips used to get so white and flaky, which was a constant worry, but using this product, I felt my skin was definitely plumped up and moisturized!! It's perfect for my dry skin type! If you mix the water layer and oil layer well, it has a healthy glow effect haha The packaging materials are all reasonable paper, so I felt good about contributing to recycling activities.
ConsI usually apply toner with my hands instead of cotton pads, as I don't like to waste product. But with this product, the bottle opening is a bit tight, so while the amount I dispense is well-controlled, when I try to spread it on my face with both hands, it tends to drip down... I wish it could come in a spray format.
TipThis product gives a hydration-boosting + oil-coating kind of feel, so if you apply a water-based toner right after cleansing and then use this on top when it's slightly absorbed, you'll feel much more moisturized! I tried putting it in an empty spray bottle at home, and it sprays very evenly without any issues. I recommend using it as a DIY oil mist by decanting it into a spray bottle!

Instead, I use toners that are rich in moisture or have an oily texture, and the Hayejin oil toner works really well for my dry skin! It doesn't leave an oily residue on my skin, which is perfect for me. Even though it's an oil toner, it doesn't make my skin feel slippery or cause my makeup to slide off. It feels like a protective layer is formed on my skin, and I'm very satisfied using it. My skin definitely looks smoother, and my makeup applies more evenly as a result.
ConsThe formula is so watery that I have to dab it on with a cotton pad. I usually prefer toners that get absorbed into my skin right away, so I don't typically use cotton pads, but this product seems to require them. About half of it ends up on the cotton pad and not on my skin. I won the Hwahae Trial Reviewer program, so I got to use this, but if I had to buy it myself, the price is too high for the amount you get. I think I'd be better off using other more cost-effective products.
TipApplying the toner with a cotton pad helps smooth out my skin texture, and then I can use my hands to apply an extra layer, which makes my skin feel really soft and moisturized!

First, let me explain the texture - it has an oil + toner feel, so if you don't shake it well before use, it will separate into layers as shown in the photo. So be sure to shake it thoroughly before applying. It has a slight rice water-like scent, but it's not strong at all and doesn't bother me. The texture is not thick, it flows like water. That's why I put the leftover in a mist bottle and sprayed it, which was very convenient to use. It works well with both cotton pads and hands. Since it has oil, it leaves a slightly dewy finish, but it doesn't feel heavy at all. The texture is quite light. After using it for about a week, my skin became brighter.๐
ConsWhen I first used it, the very runny texture was difficult to apply, but putting it in a mist bottle worked well. There is a slight stinging sensation if it gets in your eyes, so be careful. ๐ Using this alone for skincare is lighter than expected, so dry skin types will likely need to follow up with a cream or serum.
TipI sprayed it from the mist bottle and patted it on. I used it 3 times, once with a cotton pad, once with my hands, and the last time with my hands again. The dewy glow and the lightweight feel make me think this would be good for combination-oily skin even in the winter. My skin looks brighter.

I've used it for about a week, not 2 weeks. First of all, it's an oil toner, but it was interesting that it contains rice ingredients, so you have to shake it before use. In the past, most face oils felt heavy on me, but this one feels refreshing and relatively lightweight compared to other face oil products. The texture is smooth and runny even after shaking, and it doesn't feel oily, but when applied, it feels moisturizing and you can tell it's an oil product. The moisturizing power is good. As soon as I apply it, I can't help but say 'Oh, it's so moisturizing!' haha The texture is subtle, so I tried applying it with a cotton pad first, then with my hands, and I think it's better to apply it with your hands rather than a cotton pad. The granules might be too much for wiping. I highly recommend this moisturizing oil toner for dry skin types. I also recommend it for slightly oily skin types who don't get along with other face oils.
ConsThe opening of the bottle seems to be slightly leaky. I didn't notice it when applying it with a cotton pad, but when I tried to absorb it with my hands, it dripped a bit from the opening. I don't know if it's related to the product texture, but while it's not a major inconvenience, it is a bit annoying. Even when I tried to dispense it carefully, it didn't drop cleanly and left some residue around the opening.
TipSince this product is a bit pricey to use just for cleansing, I use it as a gentle toner after cleansing, shaking it well and patting it in. Sometimes, when my skin is very dry, I mix a few drops into my cream and use it. I recommend applying an extra layer on dry areas by mixing it into your cream and patting it in.
