It absorbs quickly, making it easy to use. Remember to shake well before application.
ConsThe combination of oil and rice ingredients might not suit those with sensitive skin. After continued use, I unfortunately experienced some blemishes.

My skin usually has a lot of dead skin cells, and there's a buildup of sebum around my forehead and nose area. After using this for exfoliating, it really cleared up significantly. Despite being a toner, it has a moisturizing effect, probably because it's an oil toner.
ConsSince it's an oil toner, when I, with my combination skin, applied a bit too much, I noticed a couple of blemishes popping up.
TipThis is excellent as an exfoliating toner. It works perfectly with slightly textured cotton pads.

It's a shake-before-use product with a texture reminiscent of low-fat milk. When used, it's definitely moisturizing. In weather like this, regular toners dry out quickly, but this one keeps skin hydrated for quite a while. I often use it as a cotton pad mask in the morning, which shows how well it locks in moisture. * Absorption Breaking the misconception that it might be oily, it actually absorbs quite well. It was too shiny for the T-zone when used as a 7-skin method, so I just wiped with a cotton pad twice, then patted it 3 times with my hands on my dry cheeks. I liked how it absorbed quickly while leaving a moisturized finish.
Cons* Irritation I'm not particularly sensitive and can use most cosmetics, but... After using this product as a cotton pad mask, my cheeks started burning. Small bumps began to appear too. Because it was moisturizing, I ignored the burning sensation and continued using it, but now my cheeks are constantly flushed red, so I eventually stopped using it and switched to a different toner... I thought it was a gentle product, but it seems something didn't agree with my skin. Since it contains rice bran, it might naturally exfoliate... I wonder if that's why. * Oil and moisture balance Although it claims to balance oil and moisture, it's really just a toner for dry skin. If you use it on your T-zone like you would on your cheeks... you'll be an oil slick that day.
TipFor combination dehydrated skin like mine, I recommend layering it several times on the cheeks. You'll likely feel very moisturized that way. Although it didn't work for me... I think it might suit others.

I appreciate that the volume seems quite generous.
ConsDespite consistent use, I didn't notice significant brightening effects. It didn't absorb well and felt like it just sat on the skin. Most importantly, while I rarely get blemishes, I developed a couple of small bumps after using this. It may work differently for others, but it wasn't the right fit for me. Also, the container design, which dispenses product in small amounts, was a bit inconvenient. If you're looking for a gentle toner, I'd recommend the Dokdo toner over this one.

Product Description I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and dry U-zone. This toner requires shaking to mix the oil and toner before use. The moisturizing effect was incredible right after application! The product claims to balance the skin with rice filler, provide hydration, and create a moisture barrier with 8 natural oils for a double-layering moisture coating. It's clear the company is confident in its hydrating abilities, and it certainly delivers on that front. 2. Usage Method I used this product for 10 days, replacing my usual Nine Wishes skincare routine. After cleansing and drying my face, I shook the toner and applied it with a cotton pad, gently patting it into my skin. Be careful not to over-apply, as it can feel greasy. I found 2-3 drops on a cotton pad to be perfect. It felt too heavy to layer with cream, but using just the toner wasn't enough, so I added a mist. I think using this product in a mist bottle could be ideal for controlling the amount! While it provides excellent surface hydration, it didn't quite address my deep dryness. However, I never felt dry after application! 3. Effects While I didn't notice any improvement in wrinkles, I did see a slight brightening effect. My complexion appeared a bit brighter in the morning after using it the night before.
ConsUnfortunately, I found several aspects of this product disappointing. 1. Despite not having super sensitive skin, I experienced redness after the first use. By the second day, I had a breakout of blemishes - three large ones on each cheek and one by my eyebrow, plus several smaller ones. I'm not sure which ingredient caused this reaction, but I continued using it for 10 days out of obligation as a tester. However, I had to stop due to severe skin irritation. I tried various application methods and amounts, but nothing helped. I strongly recommend checking the ingredients before purchasing if you're interested. 2. The price feels quite high for a toner. Even if it had suited my skin, I would have hesitated to repurchase due to the cost. 3. Controlling the amount is crucial with this product. Using too much leaves an excessively oily feeling that might require rewashing your face. Just 1-2 drops is sufficient - be mindful of how much you apply!
TipWhile I used it with a cotton pad, I recommend using it as a mist-type toner! It would be easier to control the amount, and the spray application might help distribute the moisturizing effects more evenly, reducing the risk of feeling greasy in certain areas.

I loved how innovative it felt with the shake-before-use application. As someone with dry skin, I appreciated the oil-like texture that prevented any tightness after application.
ConsI typically use a wipe-off toner in my skincare routine. When I switched only my toner to this product, I unfortunately experienced some blemishes. It wasn't during my ovulation period, so hormonal changes weren't a factor. Suddenly, I started getting small bumps around my nose and chin area. I tend to have dehydrated skin, so I think using a toner with more oil content was too much for my skin. I'd recommend this more for those who lack oil in their skin rather than those who need hydration!

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsI'm writing an honest review as a winner of The Hwahae Testers program. I have combination/sensitive skin with an oily T-zone, and I tend to experience irritation or blemishes when using products that don't suit my skin. Lately, my skin has been feeling quite dry, probably due to the changing seasons. The spray power is just right - after shaking, it dispenses the perfect amount for application. The nozzle isn't too large either. I appreciate that it's fragrance-free, with no harsh or perfume-like scents. This is great for those who are sensitive to fragrances like me. As for the results, I've been experiencing some dryness after cleansing due to the seasonal changes. When I applied this product immediately after washing my face, it did help alleviate that surface dryness. However, it didn't seem to address deep dryness completely.
ConsBeing an oil-based product, it did feel a bit greasy, though not overwhelmingly so. There was a slight feeling of heaviness on the skin. After using it for a few days, I noticed some small, bumpy blemishes on my right cheek - not visible pimples, but a rough texture when touched. After that, I tried using this product alone, without my usual emulsion and mask routine. Whether due to the oil or not, my skin quickly lost the bouncy texture it usually has. Since then, I haven't been reaching for it much, which is why I'm writing this review before the full two weeks. If I had paid for this, I would have been really disappointed...

I was worried it might feel heavy since it's an oil, but not at all. Even my friends started using it! Three of us tried it, and we all agreed it was gentle and moisturizing. It absorbs well without any stickiness, and I feel like my complexion even brightened a bit. If it weren't for the tiny bumps, I'd keep using it because it feels so nice on the skin - soft and hydrating.
ConsI had to stop using it after just three applications. From the very first use, I got tiny bumps all over my face. I'm not sure what caused it, but while I usually get minor blemishes from brightening products, I've never had such a severe reaction. It was really upsetting.
TipYou need to use very little of this product. When I first misjudged the amount and applied too much on a cotton pad, I broke out in tiny bumps. The two others who tried it with me were happy when using small amounts, but also experienced blemishes after applying too much.

Being an oil toner, it's like your skin gets wrapped in a protective oil layer after use. Unlike other toners that leave my skin feeling tight and dry after a single application, this one keeps my skin feeling comfortable and moisturized even when used alone!
ConsI didn't notice at first, but after 3-4 days of use, my skin started to tingle (I've had mild atopic dermatitis since childhood, so I'm prone to sensitivity. While I didn't have a severe reaction, I did start to feel a slight tingling sensation with each application).
TipIt's great to soak a cotton pad with the toner and follow up with a light emulsion. For those with very dry skin or during winter, adding a hydrating cream on top could be beneficial!

Scent: It has a fresh scent, similar to other ceramide toners. I liked that it doesn't have an overwhelming cosmetic smell. 2. Finish: Although it's labeled as an oil toner, I was surprised that it absorbs quickly, leaving the skin moisturized, fresh, and smooth. Unlike other toners that can be drying, this one doesn't have that effect, which I appreciated. 3. Blemishes: I usually have blemish-prone skin, but I didn't experience any breakouts with this. In fact, the small bumps on my forehead slightly diminished. Keep in mind that skincare is personal, so results may vary. 4. Texture: It has a fluid, water-like consistency typical of toners. Since there's an oil layer on top, make sure to shake well before use. Overall: As someone with sensitive combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes, I was worried about potential reactions. While it didn't clear up cystic acne, it did help with the small bumps on my forehead. Unlike other toners that left my skin feeling tight and dry, this one kept my skin moisturized without any discomfort. It exceeded my expectations.
ConsPerhaps due to my blemish-prone skin, I felt a slight tingling sensation when applying it after cleansing. My father, who has dry skin, borrowed it and used it after shaving, and he also mentioned experiencing a tingling sensation.
