Pros
This is a comprehensive review of the product. I was very satisfied with this product. I just needed to take a moderate amount of cotton pads, wipe it on, pat it gently, and apply a suitable amount of cream - that was enough. Even though it's an oil product, it wasn't sticky or uncomfortable, and had a nice, refreshing feel. It absorbed well too. I don't usually use oil products, but this changed my preconceptions. The packaging was clean and minimalist, and I was able to use the entire product.

It's so great!! The scent is nice and my skin has really improved after using this!! It's not sticky at all, I love it!

I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and have been using it from December 18, 2019 to December 31, 2019. I gently wiped my face with the toner I was using before, then squeezed about two drops of the Rice Filla Oil Toner onto my left hand and patted it onto my cheeks. I was very worried that the oil toner would feel sticky or heavy, but it just glided on smoothly and absorbed right into my skin without any residue. The moisturizing effect is definitely better than a water-based toner. But it doesn't feel sticky like a hyaluronic acid-based skin like when you layer products, so I really enjoyed using it. I would take 2-3 drops in my hand, apply it all over my face, and let it absorb, then move on to the ampoule. Even though it's an oil toner, it absorbs well and doesn't interfere with the absorption of the ampoule. And most importantly... the pesky milia... By balancing the oil and moisture from the toner, the dehydration that was causing the stubborn milia has been calmed down. Even though I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and got to use it, I was really worried the oil toner would make my milia flare up. But no need to worry at all. My super sensitive skin approves - it's gentle with no irritation at all. The application, absorption, and moisturizing are all great, and without any greasy residue. It balances the oil and moisture so well that my rough skin texture has been smoothed out. I will definitely repurchase once I finish this. If you have dry, dehydrated skin that's prone to milia in this harsh winter, and regular moisturizers aren't cutting it, I highly recommend trying the Rice Filla Oil Toner!

I haven't really found any major downsides to using it so far. Ah, the price - it's in the 30,000 won range for 150ml, which is a bit burdensome. And you have to make sure to shake it well before each use. The contents tend to separate into two layers really quickly, you see. So even when layering it, you have to remember to shake it again before dispensing, just like the first time. It's easy to forget, especially when you're in a hurry. But despite these minor inconveniences, I'm still going to repurchase it because it's been so effective for my dehydration and milia issues.
Tip
I found that it's better to take just 2-3 drops in the palm of my hand, let it absorb well, and then apply another 2-3 drops layered on top. On really dry days, I'll even do a 3-layer application and that takes care of the dehydration perfectly. Compared to using other water-based toners, I only need to use about half the amount of the Rice Filla Oil Toner - you don't need to use a lot at once. This also means I can use less of the follow-up ampoule. I think in the summer, this toner and a good moisturizer might be enough on its own. My routine is: wipe with a toner pad -> 3 layers of the Rice Filla Oil Toner -> ampoule -> moisturizer I'm so glad this has helped improve my dehydration and milia issues this winter.

!! Review after being selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and using it for about 2 weeks !! It's an oil toner, but it's not sticky and oily like a typical oil toner. It has more of a watery toner-like feel!! It's very moisturizing, and even though I'm not a big fan of oil toners, this one exceeded my expectations!! Since I have sensitive skin, I usually have trouble using basic skincare products and end up getting breakouts, but that didn't happen with this one!! I think it would be good for sensitive skin as well. Oil toners are usually very sticky, but this one isn't too sticky and has great moisturizing power, so I'd recommend it. There's no tightness or dryness, and I think it would be great to use in the winter!! Not recommended for oily skin,, if you prefer a soft, fresh feeling, this might not be for you,, I prefer a soft, fresh feeling so ㅠㅠ I think people will either love it or hate it!!

I thought the oil toner would be oily, but when I pumped it onto my hand, there was no sticky, oily feel at all. It spread quite smoothly and felt lightweight, not at all sticky. The texture is like milk. 🌸Absorption ⭐⭐⭐⭐: I purposely used a small amount at first, worried it might sit on top of the skin. The toner didn't feel like it was just sitting on top, but it didn't fully absorb like a regular toner either. It was moisturizing enough that I didn't need additional skincare products like other creams. I liked that it didn't have a sticky, oily feel. And sometimes when the area around my eyes felt dry, I would apply cream or ampoule, but when I applied this toner around my eyes, it was the most moisturizing. The finish was also refreshing, and when I did my makeup, it had a nice, dewy glow.
