As an oil toner, it's more hydrating and moisturizing than other toners. It absorbs quickly, making it easy to use. Remember to shake well before application. The combination of oil and rice ingredients might not suit those with sensitive skin. After continued use, I unfortunately experienced some blemishes. - ka*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresOct 4, 2022
The toner has a lightweight feel, but I was looking for something a bit more substantial for my dry skin that wouldn't evaporate quickly. This seems to fit the bill perfectly. It's so effective at preventing dryness and deep dryness that I don't even need to immediately apply an ampoule or moisturizer after using it. As someone with super sensitive skin and atopic dermatitis, I experienced a tingling sensation around my mouth and slight itchiness, possibly due to the rich texture, despite the absence of harmful ingredients. While it doesn't cause dryness, the richness seems to trigger some itching, so I need to be cautious with this product. The runny consistency makes it prone to spilling easily. If not shaken thoroughly before use, the oil doesn't mix well and comes out separately. I wish the bottle opening was a bit smaller. Make sure to shake the bottle well before use. - in******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 2, 2022
It's so gentle that I think it would suit all skin types! I thought it would be really oily and sticky when I heard 'oil toner', but it's not like that at all. The hydration level seems perfect, especially for seasonal changes. The bottle opening is inconvenient to use, and it unexpectedly requires quite a bit of effort to dispense the product. - ky*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 4, 2022
I would never have bought an oil toner myself, but I received it as a gift and gave it a try. As someone with oily skin prone to clogged pores, blemishes, and sensitivity, I took a big leap of faith using this. Surprisingly, it completely changed my perspective on oils! I used to avoid anything oil-based, but this oil toner actually improved my skin! It's absolutely amazing. I have oily skin all over and even use shampoo for oily hair, but this is a game-changer that I highly recommend. No blemishes appeared, and my skin actually became less oily. It's unbelievable - blackheads? Completely gone. For combination dehydrated skin? Try this and you'll see a whole new world. It leaves skin hydrated with an amazing glow. It absorbs well and actually reduces oiliness. The scent isn't bad either, and it has a great moisturizing effect. Please make a larger size available, then it would be five stars. The oil toner is fantastic. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 15, 2021
Incredibly hydrating, perfect for my combination dehydrated skin. No issues for those sensitive to fragrances. Excellent for achieving that coveted Inner Glow. Requires shaking before each use. Dispenses small amounts when applying to cotton pads. For best results, use it like a skin pack, then apply your serum or cream before makeup. This method gives you the ultimate Inner Glow and flawless complexion. - go**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 6, 2021
The toner feels like an oil, so it seems to keep my skin hydrated for longer! Because of the oil, it feels like it's sitting on top of my skin rather than absorbing completely. - lo********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 7, 2021
When you're feeling lazy, just applying this one product provides enough hydration for dry skin. Nothing really. At first, it seemed more oily than my usual routine of base products and oil, which made me worry about blemishes. But after using it a few times, it doesn't seem to cause any issues. If you shake it and apply it with a cotton pad, you can do your skincare routine with less irritation than most toner pads. - yu******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedDec 9, 2020
This is a must-have for those with dry skin! Even with just this skin toner, your face gets a beautiful glow. It's especially perfect for winter use if you love oils but find them inconvenient to apply regularly. The price is great, it helps with brightening, and it's just fantastic overall. I tried their sunscreen and loved it, so when I saw a Facebook ad, I couldn't resist buying this too. I'm so glad I did! There are no downsides! It's a well-made moisturizing oil toner. It might feel a bit oily for those with oily skin, but it doesn't have that heavy oil feeling. Even after layering it a couple of times, it feels like a fresh oil toner. It hydrates without feeling stuffy or causing any warmth on the face. - 32****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedNov 24, 2020
I'm on my second bottle of this autumn and winter toner staple! However, I stop using it when my skin feels sensitive. I have extremely sensitive combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes, redness, and flushing. By 2-3 PM, my skin gets quite oily, and it tends to heat up when I'm concentrating or talking. Being combination dehydrated, I used to focus solely on hydrating my skin. I searched for hydrating creams, essences, and ampoules, but couldn't find a suitable moisturizing product for autumn and winter. Even lightweight creams felt somewhat heavy. Then I stumbled upon this product, which became my go-to toner for seasonal changes, autumn, and winter! (I've now stopped using exfoliating toners and instead pat the product into my skin with my hands) As it's an oil toner, you need to shake it before use. It has a slightly milky tint and when applied, it feels like it's thinly coating the skin without any heaviness or discomfort. Perhaps that's why it creates a great base for makeup when used in the initial skincare steps. This product provides excellent moisture and hydration, preventing deep dryness. After this, I only need to apply one more cream in my skincare routine. Note: The Laneige Cream Skin doesn't suit my skin well. When I used it, it didn't feel moisturizing and seemed to just sit on top of my skin. It seemed to increase dead skin cells and felt heavy. I used it when it first launched about two years ago, but I might have applied it incorrectly. The experience might be different if I tried it again now... For those who had a similar experience, I recommend the Hanyul Oil Toner! It's also a good option for those looking for something similar to the Laneige Cream Skin. I have no complaints about the product's effectiveness. However, I'm a bit disappointed with the bottle opening as the toner doesn't dispense cleanly. (See attached photo) Since it contains various oils, it's important to check for any ingredients you might be sensitive to. (I sometimes experience itching after use, so I avoid it when my skin feels sensitive. However, I haven't experienced any major issues like breakouts or redness.) A moisturizing toner for autumn and winter suitable for all skin types! (For oily skin, I recommend using it in winter. A friend with oily skin felt it was slightly heavy when used in autumn) My current skincare routine (late November~) has changed significantly. When I vaguely wanted better skin, I used to selectively listen to YouTube advice. But when I became desperate, I tried even unfamiliar methods, which ultimately led to good results. Morning: Water cleanse + Hanyul Oil Toner + 365 Cream (I used to be addicted to exfoliating toners, but after stopping cotton pad use for less than a week, my facial redness decreased significantly. However, I still can't control the flushing that occurs when I'm concentrating on work or studying...) Evening: Oil cleansing + Hanyul Oil Toner + 365 Cream (I follow YouTuber Hwai's oil cleansing method) As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I avoid heavy products. These two products work well together and suit my skin, so I think they'll become my autumn and winter skincare staples. Wishing all Hwahae users beautiful skin! - kk********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedNov 22, 2020
Hydration: This toner's moisturizing power is what impressed me the most. Being an oil-based toner, its hydrating effect is truly exceptional. There were even days in summer when I'd go out wearing just this product. While it might seem a bit pricey at first glance, if you consider it as an all-in-one replacement for toner, emulsion/essence, and serum, it's actually quite reasonable. I used to rely on an exfoliating toner and serum for hydration, but since I started using the Rice Pila Oil Toner, I only need this and a cream, even in the dry winter months. It's so convenient and effective! Application: I love how easily it applies. Just give it a good shake before use, pat it gently onto your skin, and it absorbs quickly without any stickiness. Often, deeply hydrating products can be slow to absorb and leave a tacky feeling, but not this one. Ingredients: This product is a true skin savior with not a single harmful ingredient. Usually, fragrance-free products can have a medicinal smell, but this one has a pleasant, natural scent, probably from the rice extracts. It's not bothersome at all. Price: The price point is a bit high for a toner, which might be off-putting for some. However, considering the quality of the product, I believe it's worth the investment.
