This is a Hwahae Trial Reviewer review. 💗 Even though it is an oil toner, there was no sticky or uncomfortable feeling at all. When patted, it absorbs just as well as a water-based toner! 💗 I used to use a regular water toner, and when I poured it into my hand, quite a bit would just flow out and get wasted. But with the Rice Phila Oil Toner, I just shake it and dispense the exact amount I need, and it all gets applied to my face! 💗 My skin is dry and prone to tightness, but when I use this, my face feels smooth and deeply moisturized. There's no tightness, and it's incredibly hydrating! 💗 Even though it's an oil toner, you might think it would feel slippery and heavy, but based on my week of using it, I didn't experience that at all. 💗 The scent is not very strong, just a mild, nutty rice-like aroma...

💜Hwahae Trial Reviewer Review💜 I have combination skin with some pigmentation. Aside from a pimple or two around my menstrual cycle, I don't usually get many blemishes. When I tried this product, it coincided with my period. I tried layering it 1-5 times. When I applied it once, it felt like 40% moisture and 60% oil. When I applied it twice, it felt like 30% moisture and 70% oil. When I applied it three times, it felt like 25% moisture and 75% oil. ••• The more I layered it, the more oily it felt. I recommend only layering it 2-3 times! Overall, it feels more bouncy than just dewy. When applied, the oiliness makes it look quite glowy. The glow is really pretty, but I'm not sure if that's the most important thing when doing my base makeup. I tried applying it with a cotton pad. For me, it just felt like a regular toner - nothing too special. I also tried it with other products. When I used this product alone, it felt light, like mixing it with a skin lotion. When I used it with other products, it helped balance the moisture and oil levels. I felt like I needed more hydration, so I used the Glow Recipe Pads and then this product, followed by the Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream. The cream that previously felt heavy now felt just right.

When I applied a lot of it for makeup, the moisture didn't seem to sink in, and the oil just kept coming up over time. So even though I used a matte foundation, it didn't feel overly dry or cracked. I wear dream lenses and sleep in them at night. When I used this product, my eyes would feel a bit stinging and irritated. On days when my eyes weren't feeling great, it made them look a bit hazy.

When I wiped the toner-soaked cotton pad on my skin, it absorbed without any irritation. For my severely dry skin, the toner with a mix of water and oil components suits me well, and the moisture and oil balance seems to be maintained even over time. So I've been spraying the oil toner I put in a mist bottle frequently, and even with continuous use of the oil toner, I haven't had any trouble breakouts, which is great.
