The scent is pleasant too. I can tell it has good ingredients as it doesn't cause any irritation or blemishes.
ConsAs someone with sensitive combination-dry skin, I found it a bit too oily and slippery, which was disappointing. It's also a shame that it tends to pill when applying makeup.

When patted into the skin, it absorbs just as well as a water-based toner! - I used to use a completely water-based toner, but a lot would drip off my hands and go to waste. With the Rice Filler oil toner, I can apply exactly the amount I dispense without any waste! - I have dry skin that tends to feel tight, but when I apply this, it feels like a smooth, moisturizing layer forms on my face. No tightness, just incredible hydration! - You might think an oil toner would feel slippery or cause pilling, but in my week of use, I didn't experience anything like that at all. - There's hardly any scent, just a slight nutty rice aroma, if anything.
Cons(Since I don't usually wear makeup, I can't comment on how it affects makeup application.) The price is a bit higher than I expected!
TipI'm not sure if this toner just works particularly well for me, but my skin has really improved since I started using it. Even the small blemishes that used to appear on my skin have disappeared...!!! It works hard for your skin!

I have dry skin with hyperpigmentation. Apart from 1-2 blemishes during my menstrual cycle, I don't usually get acne. I tried this product around my period. I tested layering it 1-5 times: One layer felt like 40% hydration, 60% oil Two layers felt like 30% hydration, 70% oil Three layers felt like 25% hydration, 75% oil ... The more I layered, the oilier it felt. I recommend layering only 2-3 times! Overall, it feels more firm than elastic. It gives a glow, probably due to its rich texture. The glow is pretty, but I wonder if that's important in a skincare routine. I also applied it with a cotton pad. For me, it felt ordinary? Just like applying toner with a cotton pad. I tried it with other products. Using this product alone felt like a light skin-emulsion mix. When used with other products, it seemed to balance oil and moisture! Feeling I needed more hydration, I used Goodal Tangerine Vita C Pads, followed by this product, then Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Cream. This combination made the cream, which I previously found heavy, work perfectly for me.
ConsMy lips tend to crack in winter, and applying this to cracked areas stung terribly. It didn't seem to particularly help with dead skin cells. If that's what you're looking for, I recommend using it with a cotton pad. I noticed the feel of application varied greatly depending on skin condition. When my skin was in good condition, it felt mild and unremarkable, but when my skin wasn't at its best, it felt like it was pushing out dead skin cells. When applying makeup, I used more because it didn't feel hydrating enough, but over time, oil kept rising to the surface. This prevented my matte foundation from feeling too dry or cracking. I use dream lenses, which require sleeping with them in. However, when using this product, my eyes felt irritated and stung. When my eyes weren't in good condition, my vision felt blurry.
TipApply it with a cotton pad or use it with other products. I initially thought it could be used alone as an all-in-one product, but that wasn't the case. When layering, only apply 2-3 times.

Unlike other oil toners, when dispensed, it feels more like a liquid protein than an oily skin product. It's hard to describe, but the liquid itself doesn't feel very oily! This made the application feel quite refreshing. However, those with oily skin might find it a bit heavy. 💚Application (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) As mentioned, I absolutely loved how this felt on my skin. I personally prefer to start with a deeply hydrating toner when my skin feels dry, so I've tried many similar products like oil toners, cream skins, and milk skins. But this product's feel is my favorite so far! It's not oily before application, feels fresh during application, and leaves a slight oil-moisturizing film afterwards - striking a perfect balance. 💚Scent (⭐️⭐️⭐️) I'm quite sensitive to fragrances, but this product didn't have any bothersome scent. The ingredient list shows lavender oil, so I expected a lavender scent, but it has a unique aroma that's hard to describe. It's somewhat aromatic... ? Even now, I'm sniffing it on my hand and can't pinpoint the scent. It's subtle, but not particularly pleasant to me. 💚Moisturizing Power (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) Being an oily toner, there's a limit to how many layers you can apply. I found two layers to be comfortable. The product itself is quite moisturizing. While I haven't noticed its effectiveness on deep dryness yet, it definitely keeps the skin's surface hydrated. 💚Absorption (⭐️⭐️) After application, it feels like it leaves an oil film on the skin, so there's quite a bit of residue. Those who prefer toners that absorb quickly might not like this. However, it could be useful during seasonal changes or in winter! It keeps the skin moisturized and gives a nice glow. 💚Sensitivity / Blemishes (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) My skin was sensitive due to a recent cosmetic reaction, and I was in the process of calming it down, so I was hesitant about oil products. Surprisingly, this caused no irritation or reactivity, and didn't trigger any blemishes. In fact, it seemed to improve my skin's oil and moisture balance, significantly enhancing my skin texture.
ConsAs others have mentioned, the price seems a bit high. With so many high-quality, affordable products available these days, it might struggle to compete on price. It's challenging to layer this product. I experienced pilling or residue when applying more than two layers. It seems more suitable as an absorbing toner rather than a patting toner.
TipMake sure to shake the product well before use. If you don't, a whitish, separated liquid might come out. Applying it as soon as possible after cleansing improves absorption and overall feel! It feels too expensive to use as a patting toner, and doesn't seem to exfoliate or refine texture much. It's more suitable as an absorbing toner. I tried using it as a skin pack too. While it was moisturizing, it doesn't seem cost-effective for this price range. After applying the product, make sure it's fully absorbed before moving to the next step in your routine. This ensures better absorption of subsequent products! Take your time and let it sink in completely.

The biggest advantage is that it's a low-irritation oil toner made with skin-friendly ingredients. When applied with a cotton pad, it absorbs into the skin without causing irritation. For someone like me with severe dehydrated skin, this toner with its blend of water and oil components suits me well. Even as time passes, it seems to maintain a balanced oil and moisture level. That's why I've decanted the oil toner into an empty mist bottle and spray it frequently. The best part is that even with continued use of this oil-infused toner, I haven't experienced any blemishes.
ConsSince I commute with a bare face, I frequently spray the oil toner from an empty mist bottle. However, when I use the oil toner before applying makeup, it causes pilling. Also, the price seems a bit high for purchasing.
TipTry keeping the oil toner in the refrigerator for a cool and refreshing application! It's also great to use as a mist by putting it in an empty bottle.

Aging and dryness have led to loss of elasticity, enlarged pores around the nose, fine lines around the eyes, and deepening nasolabial folds. Yellow-toned skin with freckles. Purchase motivation: As the weather suddenly turned cold, my usual toner wasn't enough. Luckily, I won the chance to try this product as part of The Hwahae Testers. Woohoo! Characteristics: Shake before use to mix the emulsion and toner. It's a milky-white liquid without stickiness. Comes in a light, clean milky-white plastic bottle. User experience: I was initially concerned that the oil might cause small bumps. After applying, I got three consecutive pimples and stopped using it, but later found out it was due to a new cleanser I'd switched to around the same time. 1. Being an oil toner, I expected intense hydration. On the first day, I only did three layers, but it felt dry, so I added cream. 2. After my acne subsided, I applied the oil toner 1-2 times + cream. It felt moisturizing, but didn't address the deep dryness. Adding more layers didn't increase hydration, it just felt like an oil barrier was forming. 3. So I tried oil toner once + hydrating ampoule + cream. This combination addressed the deep dryness, made my skin plump, and reduced fine lines that appeared due to dryness. It seems to provide more moisture than hydration, so it might work better as an essence rather than a toner. Despite being an oil toner, it has a surprisingly watery texture that applies smoothly and moisturizes without leaving any stickiness on hands or face. The matte milky-white bottle is clean and has a nice feel, but since it's the same color as the toner, I sometimes forget to shake it. It's a bit pricey for the amount you get.
ConsSomewhat expensive. Lacks hydration. When I applied oil toner + Sulwhasoo cream, the cream pilled. I wonder why this happened...
TipWhen applied in the combination of oil toner + hydrating essence + cream, it provides both hydration and moisture, making the skin plump and dewy.
