The scent is not bad either. It feels like the ingredients are good, as it is non-irritating and doesn't cause any breakouts.
ConsMy skin is combination and sensitive, so the oily feeling was a bit disappointing, though not too much. There was a slight caked-on feeling when applying makeup, which was a bit of a letdown.

When patted, it absorbs just as well as a water-based toner! ๐ I used to use a regular water toner, and when I poured it into my hand, quite a bit would just flow out and get wasted. But with the Rice Phila Oil Toner, I just shake it and dispense the exact amount I need, and it all gets applied to my face! ๐ My skin is dry and prone to tightness, but when I use this, my face feels smooth and deeply moisturized. There's no tightness, and it's incredibly hydrating! ๐ Even though it's an oil toner, you might think it would feel slippery and heavy, but based on my week of using it, I didn't experience that at all. ๐ The scent is not very strong, just a mild, nutty rice-like aroma...
Cons(Since I don't usually wear a lot of makeup, I'm not too familiar with makeup transfer issues) The price is a bit higher than I expected...
TipI'm not sure if it's just because this toner works well for me, but my skin has really improved since using it. Even the minor blemishes that used to pop up have disappeared...!!!๐ฏ

Aside from a pimple or two around my menstrual cycle, I don't usually get many blemishes. When I tried this product, it coincided with my period. I tried layering it 1-5 times. When I applied it once, it felt like 40% moisture and 60% oil. When I applied it twice, it felt like 30% moisture and 70% oil. When I applied it three times, it felt like 25% moisture and 75% oil. โขโขโข The more I layered it, the more oily it felt. I recommend only layering it 2-3 times! Overall, it feels more bouncy than just dewy. When applied, the oiliness makes it look quite glowy. The glow is really pretty, but I'm not sure if that's the most important thing when doing my base makeup. I tried applying it with a cotton pad. For me, it just felt like a regular toner - nothing too special. I also tried it with other products. When I used this product alone, it felt light, like mixing it with a skin lotion. When I used it with other products, it helped balance the moisture and oil levels. I felt like I needed more hydration, so I used the Glow Recipe Pads and then this product, followed by the Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream. The cream that previously felt heavy now felt just right.
ConsWhen it gets cold in the winter, the area around my mouth tends to get irritated. When I applied the product to those irritated areas, it stung terribly. It didn't seem to do much for exfoliating. If that's something you're looking for, I'd recommend using it with a cotton pad. I found that the way the product feels really depends on the condition of my skin. When my skin was in good shape, it felt mild and unremarkable. But when my skin was in poorer condition, it felt like it was pushing out flaky skin. When I applied a lot of it for makeup, the moisture didn't seem to sink in, and the oil just kept coming up over time. So even though I used a matte foundation, it didn't feel overly dry or cracked. I wear dream lenses and sleep in them at night. When I used this product, my eyes would feel a bit stinging and irritated. On days when my eyes weren't feeling great, it made them look a bit hazy.
TipI recommend applying it with a cotton pad or using it together with other products. I initially thought this could be an all-in-one type of product that I could use on its own, but that wasn't the case. When layering it, I suggest only applying it 2-3 times.

In fact, it seems to have helped balance my skin's oil and moisture levels, and my skin texture has significantly improved.
ConsAs mentioned by others, the price does seem a bit high. These days, there are many high-quality products available at lower prices, so this product may be a bit behind the price competition. ๐ญIt also feels a bit difficult to layer. I found that applying more than two layers resulted in a heavy, residual feeling. ๐I think this product is more suitable for absorption than occlusion.
Tipโ๏ธYou need to shake the product well before using it. If you don't shake it, there's a feeling of a separated, milky-white liquid coming out. โ๏ธIf you apply it right after cleansing, it absorbs much better and the usage experience is better! โ๏ธIt feels a bit expensive to use as an occlusive product, and there's less of a sense of exfoliation or smoothing. It seems more suitable for use as an absorbent. โ๏ธI also tried using it as a skin pack, and while it was hydrating, the cost-effectiveness for this usage feels lacking. โ๏ธYou should allow the product to fully absorb before moving on to the next step in your routine. This ensures the next product is better absorbed.

The biggest advantage of this product is that they made an oil toner with low-irritation and skin-friendly ingredients. When I wiped the toner-soaked cotton pad on my skin, it absorbed without any irritation. For my severely dry skin, the toner with a mix of water and oil components suits me well, and the moisture and oil balance seems to be maintained even over time. So I've been spraying the oil toner I put in a mist bottle frequently, and even with continuous use of the oil toner, I haven't had any trouble breakouts, which is great.
ConsI commute with a bare face, and while I spray the oil toner I put in a mist bottle frequently, when I use the oil toner before makeup, my makeup slides off. ๐ฅบ And the price seems a bit high to purchase.
TipPut the oil toner in the refrigerator and use it when it's cool! It's also good to use it as a mist in the spray bottle.

Aging and dryness have reduced skin elasticity, leading to enlarged pores around the nose and deeper crow's feet and nasolabial folds. There are also freckles on the yellowish skin. - Purchase Motivation: As the weather suddenly became colder, the toner I was using previously was no longer sufficient, so I was considering options when I was selected for the Hwahae Trial and got to try this product. Yay! - Features: This is a type where you shake the bottle before use to mix the lotion and toner. It's a milky-colored, non-sticky liquid. The packaging is a lightweight, clean-looking milky-colored plastic container. - User Review: Using this could potentially cause small bumps, which was a bit concerning. After applying, I got 3 consecutive pimples and had to stop using it. However, upon further investigation, the culprit turned out to be the cleansing product I had recently changed. 1. As this is an oil toner, I expected it to be very moisturizing, so on the first day I only used 3 layers, but it left my skin feeling dry, so I had to add a cream. 2. After that, the acne subsided, and I used the oil toner 1-2 times plus a cream, but while it felt moisturizing, there was still an underlying dryness that couldn't be resolved. Applying more didn't seem to increase the moisture levels, and it just felt like an oil film was forming on top. 3. So I tried using the oil toner once, followed by a hydrating ampoule and a cream, and that seemed to resolve the underlying dryness. The skin felt plump and the visible fine lines reduced. This product seems to focus more on providing nourishment rather than hydration, so using it as an essence rather than a toner may be more beneficial. Even though it's an oil toner, the texture flows like water, applying smoothly and softly without any sticky residue left on the hands or face. The matte milky-colored packaging looks clean and has a nice feel, but since it's the same color as the toner, I sometimes forget to shake it before use. The price is a bit high considering the volume.
ConsSomewhat expensive price. Insufficient moisture. When I used the oil toner and a moisturizing cream, the cream seemed to get pushed away. I'm not sure why this happened.
TipUsing the oil toner, a hydrating essence, and a cream works well, as it provides both moisture and nourishment, leaving the skin feeling plump and moisturized.
