The Hwahae Testers Review - The writer has oily + combination skin (nose and sides of nose) in summer and dry skin in winter. Positives (Note - The writer mixes it with face oil when using alone as makeup tends to separate) 1. Longevity On my forehead, where oil production is relatively low, the longevity was good. When I came home in the evening after applying makeup in the morning, the forehead area remained intact. It felt somewhat similar to Est*e Lauder. (Long-lasting only on areas with less oil production) 2. Coverage When applied, it really makes the skin look great! The coverage is impressive. It covers all redness completely! Drawbacks 1. Difficult to use alone + Emphasizes wrinkles As someone with dry skin, it was fine when I mixed it with face oil. Even though I don't have many wrinkles, it emphasized lines around the eyes. Even after applying makeup with The Saem foundation and touching up with another cushion foundation, the emphasized wrinkles didn't disappear. 2. Difficulty in applying thinly I tried using a brush + damp puff combination, While this method usually works well with most foundations, it didn't apply smoothly with this product. Perhaps it's due to my lack of skill.. 3. N21 - The Neutral 21 shade seems a bit dark. I use Est*e Lauder foundation in Cool Vanilla and La*ge Neo Matte Cushion in 21N, but this product seemed a bit darker than those. While Neutral 21 usually matches well, it was disappointing that it was slightly dark. 4. Oxidation There was some oxidation... It looks really beautiful when first applied, but as time passes, the face becomes dull. 5. Transfers heavily onto masks Tips 1. Utilize face oil For those with dry skin, build a solid skincare base before use, or mix the foundation with face oil. 2. Touch-ups Using Di*r Forever Skin Correct for touch-ups works well. However, this tip product is more expensive than The Saem foundation... I tried it because I already owned it. 3. Try hard to apply thinly! This seems to be a cosmetic that requires effort. Try to apply a small amount thinly. Mixing it with an unused brightening moisturizer might also be a good method. 4. For those who find the shade a bit dark, I recommend using a brightening sunscreen or applying a whitening cream before use.
